• CSS background image ?

  I have a div that is 200px by 200px. If I want to place a 30x30px no-repeat background image at the top left corner position of 120px from the left and 50px from the top ... while also allowing the text inside that div to be displayed on top of the background image ... how would I do that? I tried the following, but it doesnt appear to work. background:url(http://example.com/background-image.png) no-repeat 120px 50px; Any ideas how to perform what I want to accomplish?

• How to combine 2 or more querysets in a Django view?

  Hi, I am trying to build the search for a Django site I am building, and in the search I am searching in 3 different models. And to get pagination on the search result list I would like to use a generic object_list view to display the results. But to do that i have to merge 3 querysets into one. How can i do that? Ive tried this: result_list = [] page_list = Page.objects.filter(Q(title__icontains=cleaned_search_term) | Q(body__icontains=cleaned_search_term)) article_list = Article.objects.filter(Q(title__icontains=cleaned_search_term) | Q(body__icontains=cleaned_search_term) | Q(tags__icontains=cleaned_search_term)) post_list = Post.objects.filter(Q(title__icontains=cleaned_search_term) | Q(body__icontains=cleaned_search_term) | Q(tags__icontains=cleaned_search_term)) for x in page_list: result_list.append(x) for x in article_list: result_list.append(x) for x in post_list: result_list.append(x) return object_list(request, queryset=result_list, template_object_name='result', paginate_by=10, extra_context={'search_term': search_term}, template_name="search/result_list.html") But this doesnt work I get an error when i try to use that list in the generic view. • All Targets Not Being Called (nested Targets not being executed)

  I am using a two TARGET files. On one TARGET file I call a TARGET that is inside the second TARGET file. This second TARGET then calls another TARGET that has 6 other TARGET calls, which do a number of different things (in addition to calling other nested TARGETS (but inside the same TARGET file)). The problem is that, on the TARGET where I call 6 TARGETS, only the first one is being executed. The program doesnt find its way to call the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, and 6th TARGET. Is there a limit to the number of nested TARGETS that can be called and run? Nothing is failing. The problem is the other TARGET calls are not running. Thanks for any help you can provide. • Problems crossing the boundary between protected greasemonkey execution space and the unsafeWindow l

  Hi guys. Here is my problem: I've registered some callbacks into a Yahoo event driven webpage (betfair.com market views) and am trapping the betsPlaced events with a handler. So far so simple. Next stage is to get the event back into greasemonkey land, and while I know that from greasemoney space you can call unsafeWindow.stuff, there is no reverse operation (by design). So if I want to send the contents of the event over, say, a cometd queue, my carefully set up jquery, greasemonkey, YUI2, betfair environment fails by telling me that unsafeWindow processes cant call GM_ajax stuff. This is obviously safe and sane, but it basically stops me doing what I want to do. Has anyone tried doing this (ignore the cometd stuff, just general ajax calls) and succeeded? I've had a look at pages like this: http://wiki.greasespot.net/0.7.20080121.0%2B_compatibility but it doesnt appear to work for all the calls.

  as i said i get this horrible error i dont really know what to do anymore float n= xAxis[i].Normalize(); thats where i get the error and i get it cuz normalize is a void function this is it void CVector::normalize() { float len=Magnitude(); this->x /= len; this->y /= len; } i need normalize to stay as void tho i tried normal casting like this float n= (float)xAxis[i].Normalize(); and it doesnt work also with static,dynamic cast,reinterpret,const cast and cant make it work any help would be really apreciated... thank you .<

  Hi Folks I have 3 web services, all located on the same server. My Client calls Service A, which impersonates the client to call Service B, and all is well. Now, I want to impersonate the caller of service B (which is my username) to call Service C. When I use the same technique as before (AllowedImpersonationLevel = Impersonate, user.Impersonate()), The user doesnt get passed to service C. Instead, Service C sees the user as the user I am running it under in IIS. Is there anything special I need to do to get this working? Is this a delegation issue?   I have form below which contains a text field and a button. when i start typing it shows hints from my database and on clicking button or hiting enter key it displys search results. ajax technology is used for both hints and search results and it is working well but THE PROBLEM IS THAT IT WORKS ONLY THE FIRST TIME PAGE LOADS OR ONLY AFTER REFRESHING THE PAGE.   I'm making a universal iPad/iPhone app which can use the iPad's VGA out connector to mirror the content of the app on an external screen. • "paste" listener on a SWT widget

  I have an application with a SWT widget, say a org.eclipse.swt.widgets.Text, and want to add some control to the paste function. The idea is that if the user can paste a string of IDs, I detect that, run some code and paste the object that corresponds to the IDs. So I'm looking for some "ClipBoardListener" of some sort to add to my widget, but that doesnt seem to exist. A keylistener would only trap the pastes done by key and then you would have to deal with different key combos for pasting in different OS's. Based on this java 1.2 question I tried subclassing the text class and override the inser method, but that didnt work Exception in thread "main" org.eclipse.swt.SWTException: Subclassing not allowed Seemed like an ugly solution anyway.

• Get the entire string of a jquery DOM object

  Hi, I have had a bit of a look around and am having some difficulty solving a wee issue I am having. I basically have a string of HTML, I convert that to a JQuery DOM object so that I can easily remove all elements that have a certain class using JQuery's .remove(). I.e., var radHtml = editor.get_html(); var jqDom = $(radHtml); $(".thickbox", jqDom).remove(); editor.set_html(jqDom.html()); The only problem is that .html() only gets the first element, not the entire DOM. In reference to my code I am basically wanting radHhtml - elements with class "thickbox" (returned as string). I was wondering if there was an easy way to do this - have some html and remove all elements (in this case divs) that have a certain class (but leaving their contents). JQuery doesnt have to used, but I would like to. Any help would be much appreicated. Thanks.

• Basic PHP question for Drupal Views theming

  My PHP and programming knowledge is extremely basic, so this is probably a dumb question: I am theming a View in Drupal 6, and I want to add an id with a consecutive number to each item in the view (first item would have the id #item1, the second #item2, etc). I am customizing the style output (views-view-unformatted--MYVIEWNAME.tpl.php) and the row style output (views-view-fields--MYVIEWNAME.tpl.php), and I want to add a counter variable in the foreach loop in the style output tpl, and then use that variable in the row style output tpl, but the last one is not recognizing the variable. It does not give me any errors, but doesnt print the number. I understand this has probably something to do with variables visibility, how can I declare the counter variable in the style .tpl so I can the use it in the row style .tpl? Thank you

If i replace the here(7) with alert, it works fine. Why doesnt it work with function though? Alan

How would you recommend getting around the issue so I can get an object from myClass into the textbox in the form?

  Hello everyone, I have a mysql table called pollOfTheWeek. It has a column "pollDate" of type date. I have two questions regarding this : 1. I declared the column while creating the table as [pollDate date] What I wanted is that this column be set automatically, when the user doesnt enter any value for this column. How do i declare the column to achieve this? Assuming that I have the same declaration as above, how do I enter an empty value. I mean if the column was of type varchar, I would enter empty value as " ". But since it is of type date, I get error when I enter the value as " ". How do I enter empty value for the pollDate column?

I am deploying the projects via the linux box by the cmd like so bin/standalone.sh -b [ipaddress] This works fine only when i am on the network, however it doesn't work when i'm outside the network or over the internet. How do i launch it so people can access it over the internet? I tried this but it doesnt work. bin/standalone.sh -b 0.0.0.0 It says: Google Chrome could not load the webpage because took too long to respond. The website may be down, or you may be experiencing issues with your Internet connection.

  Hello Everyone! Lets say I have one ComboBox and 2 TextBox items on my GUI. And I have one DataView with data (City, PostalCode, Street, ID). While initializing the whole thing I fill my DataView with some data :) City 1, 11111, Street 1, 1 City 1, 22222, Street 2, 2 City 1, 33333, Street 3, 3 Now I want to bind this to my ComboBox. DataView is a Class Member called "m_dvAdresses", but this code doesnt help: ItemsSource="{Binding Source=m_dvAdresses}" SelectedValuePath="ID" DisplayMemberPath="Street" Also I want to have my 2 ComboBox items to show PostalCode and City, depending on what to i pick in my ComboBox. Like if I pick "Street 2", TextBox1 show me "City 1" and TexBox2 show me "22222"... How can I bind all of them ONLY in the WPF code? Thanks for help!!!!!!!!!!! :)

  Hello Developers, I have developed a ASP.Net Server custom control in C# for 3.5. named "myCheckBoxList" inherited from CheckBoxList web control. Working is very simple. It just works as a two option buttons. I have taken a CheckBoxList which will show two fixed checkboxes always. When I check one checkbox then another will uncheck as vise versa. This control works perfectly only when I have placed only one instance of that control on web page. If I place more than one instance of control then it doesnt works. Please, I need solution from expert minds from developers as stackoverflow users.

• Problem with keyboard language

  Hello you all! I just made an application which purpose is to find an x result using the rule of three. It runs fine and everything but there is a small problem. I am using WinXP Europpean Spanish version. As we all know, in many europpean countries the decimal dot is changed by a " , " comma. When I use my application, it turns out that when I press the dot key on my keyboard´s number pad, my application doesnt take it as a normal decimal dot and it ignores it... so I need to manually press the comma key so it can give me the right answer. How can I solve this problem?
