  • weblogic 10.3 custom authenticator

    - by hbagchi
    we are migrating weblogic from 8.1 to 10.3. We had custom authenticator provider. Is there any standard way to migrate custom authenticator from 8.1 to 10.3? In fact, I could not find the wlManagement.jar in 10.3. I did find a wlManagement.jar file but it only contains .java files, no .class files. Please advise.

  • Including MSVRC100.dll in C++ exe

    - by B_
    I created a simple C executable in Visual C++ 2010, but when others tried it they got a missing MSVCR100.dll error. Apparently, the user needs to install the Visual C++ Redistributable Package in order to run the exe. Is there any way I can instead include MSVCR100.dll inside the exe (so it's just one file, not sitting in the same folder) so people can just run the executable and have it work? Thanks for your help.

  • Ruby on Rails: How do I remove a gem path? (I have two for some reason)

    - by sjsc
    I'm looking to remove a gem path (/home/sjsc/.ge/ruby/1.8). For some reason, I have two, and I can't seem to install gems correctly. When I do "gem env", here's what I get: RubyGems Environment: - RUBYGEMS VERSION: 1.3.6 - RUBY VERSION: 1.8.7 (2009-06-12 patchlevel 174) [i486-linux] - INSTALLATION DIRECTORY: /usr/lib/ruby/gems/1.8 - RUBY EXECUTABLE: /usr/bin/ruby1.8 - EXECUTABLE DIRECTORY: /usr/bin - RUBYGEMS PLATFORMS: - ruby - x86-linux - GEM PATHS: - /usr/lib/ruby/gems/1.8 - /home/sjsc/.gem/ruby/1.8 Any idea on how to remove the "/home/sjsc/.gem/ruby/1.8" from the "GEM PATHS"?

  • CCNet web dashboard not showing anything when MSBuild fails

    - by cfdev9
    I have a simple project in ccnet using svn & msbuild only. There is a 30 second trigger for svn and the msbuild file compiles a web application then copies it to a numbered build folder. When an error occurs in the msbuild task I get a failed build. When I view a failed build in the web dashboard I can see the 'Modifications since last build' section in the dashboard, but nothing else. I have to click on the build log and read through all of the xml in the error log to see what the error was. Why won't the dashboard show the errors from the build log? I haven't changed anything in the dashboard.config since installing ccnet. Dashboard Version : 1.5.7256.1 <project name="SimpleWebapp1"> <artifactDirectory>C:\Program Files\CruiseControl.NET\server\SimpleWebapp1\Artifacts\</artifactDirectory> <triggers> <intervalTrigger name="continuous" seconds="30" buildCondition="IfModificationExists" initialSeconds="5" /> </triggers> <sourcecontrol type="svn"> <executable>C:\Program Files\CollabNet\Subversion Client\svn.exe</executable> <trunkUrl>https://server:8443/svn/SimpleWebapp1/trunk</trunkUrl> <workingDirectory>D:\CCNetSandbox\SimpleWebapp1</workingDirectory> <username>username</username> <password>password</password> </sourcecontrol> <tasks> <msbuild> <executable> C:\WINDOWS\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v3.5\MSBuild.exe </executable> <workingDirectory> D:\CCNetSandbox\SimpleWebapp1 </workingDirectory> <projectFile>SimpleWebapp1.build</projectFile> <buildArgs>/p:Configuration=Debug /p:Platform="Any CPU"</buildArgs> <targets>CompileLatest</targets> <timeout>900</timeout> <logger>ThoughtWorks.CruiseControl.MsBuild.XMLLogger, C:\Program Files\CruiseControl.NET\server\ThoughtWorks.CruiseControl.MsBuild.dll</logger> </msbuild> </tasks> <publishers> <xmllogger /> <buildpublisher> <publishDir>C:\Program Files\CruiseControl.NET\server\SimpleWebapp1\Artifacts\</publishDir> <useLabelSubDirectory>true</useLabelSubDirectory> </buildpublisher> </publishers> </project>

  • Spawn a multi-threaded Java program from a Windows command line program, spawner won't end until spa

    - by Ross Patterson
    Short version: How can I prevent a spawned Java process in Windows from blocking the spawning process from ending? Long version: I'm trying to spawn a multi-threaded Java program (Selenium RC, not that it should matter) from a program launched from the Windows command line (NAnt's <exec> task, again, not that it should matter). I'm doing it using the Windows "start" command, and the spawned process is started and runs correctly. The spawning process receives control back and finishes (NAnt says "BUILD SUCCEEDED"), but doesn't actually exit to the command line. When the spawned process finally terminates (could be hours later), the command process returns and the command line prompt occurs. For example: <target name="start_rc"> <exec program="cmd" failonerror="false" workingdir="${ross.p5.dir}\Tools\selenium\selenium-server-1.0.1" verbose="true"> <arg value="/C"/> <arg value="start"/> <arg value="java"/> <arg value="-jar"/> <arg path="${ross.p5.dir}\Tools\selenium\selenium-server-1.0.1\selenium-server.jar"/> <arg value="-userExtensions"/> <arg path="${ross.p5.dir}\Tools\selenium\selenium-server-1.0.1\user-extensions.js"/> <arg value="-browserSideLog"/> <arg value="-log"/> <arg value="${ross.p5.dir}\artifacts\selenium.log"/> <arg value="-debug"/> </exec> </target> Produces: C :\Ross>nant start_rc NAnt 0.86 (Build 0.86.2898.0; beta1; 12/8/2007) Copyright (C) 2001-2007 Gerry Shaw http://nant.sourceforge.net Buildfile: file:///C:/Ross/ross.build Target framework: Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 Target(s) specified: start_rc start_rc: [exec] Starting 'cmd (/C start java -jar C:\p5\Tools\selenium\selenium-server-1.0.1\selenium-server.jar -userExtensions C:\p5\Tools\selenium\selenium-server-1.0.1\user-extensions.js -browserSideLog -log C:\p5\artifacts\selenium.log -debug)' in 'C:\p5\Tools\selenium\selenium-server-1.0.1' BUILD SUCCEEDED Total time: 4.1 seconds. ... and then nothing until I close the window where Java is running, then ... C:\Ross> Obviously something is preventing the nant process from terminating, but shouldn't the Windows START command prevent that?

  • What's the use of Ant's extension-point if/unless attributes?

    - by Robert Menteer
    When you define an extension-point in an Ant build file you can have it conditional by using the if or unless attribute. On a target the if/unless prevent it's tasks from being run. But an extension-point doesn't have any tasks to conditionally run, so what does the condition do? My thought (which proved to be incorrect in Ant 1.8.0) is it would prevent any tasks that extend the extension-point from being run. Here is an example build script showing the problem: <project name = "ext-test" default = "main"> <property name = "do.it" value = "false" /> <extension-point name = "init"/> <extension-point name = "doit" depends = "init" if = "${do.it}" /> <target name = "extend-init" extensionOf = "init"> <echo message = "Doing extend-init." /> </target> <target name = "extend-doit" extensionOf = "doit"> <echo message = "Do It! (${do.it})" /> </target> <target name = "main" depends = "doit"> <echo message = "Doing main." /> </target> </project> Using the command: ant -v Relults in: Apache Ant version 1.8.0 compiled on February 1 2010 Trying the default build file: build.xml Buildfile: /Users/bob/build.xml Detected Java version: 1.6 in: /System/Library/Frameworks/JavaVM.framework/Versions/1.6.0/Home Detected OS: Mac OS X parsing buildfile /Users/bob/build.xml with URI = file:/Users/bob/build.xml Project base dir set to: /Users/bob parsing buildfile jar:file:/Users/bob/Documents/Development/3P-Tools/apache-ant-1.8.0/lib/ant.jar!/org/apache/tools/ant/antlib.xml with URI = jar:file:/Users/bob/Documents/Development/3P-Tools/apache-ant-1.8.0/lib/ant.jar!/org/apache/tools/ant/antlib.xml from a zip file Build sequence for target(s) `main' is [extend-init, init, extend-doit, doit, main] Complete build sequence is [extend-init, init, extend-doit, doit, main, ] extend-init: [echo] Doing extend-init. init: extend-doit: [echo] Do It! (false) doit: Skipped because property 'false' not set. main: [echo] Doing main. BUILD SUCCESSFUL Total time: 0 seconds You will notice the target extend-doit is executed but the extention-point itself is skipped. Since an extention-point doesn't have any tasks exactly what has been skipped? Any targets that depend on the extention-point still get executed since a skipped target is a successful target. What is the value of the if/unless attributes on an extention-point?

  • Automatically Creating A Zip after Code Signing in Xcode

    - by sylvanaar
    I have a custom script step in my build process that zips the executable. However this is executing before the executable is signed which is pretty useless. Is there a way to zip the build output after the code is signed, within the Xcode build process. I can certainly do it externally if i need to, but I'd like to make it part of my Xcode build script.

  • Creating a java library

    - by Albinoswordfish
    This may be a silly question, but right now I have a rather large class that I want to use as a library. Where somebody can simply add this jar file to their classpath. And then simply do an import statement at the top, then he or she can start using this class. Is there anything special I need to do or can I simply just use the jar file built?

Can I set QtCreator to generate 32-bit executable files? So that I can decide I want to generate 32-bit ones or 64-bit ones. I don't want to install another 32-bit QtCreator <.

  • Maven building for GoogleAppEngine, forced to include JDO libraries?

    Hi, I'm trying to build my application for GoogleAppEngine using maven. I've added the following to my pom which should "enhance" my classes after building, as suggested on the DataNucleus documentation <plugin> <groupId>org.datanucleus</groupId> <artifactId>maven-datanucleus-plugin</artifactId> <version>1.1.4</version> <configuration> <log4jConfiguration>${basedir}/log4j.properties</log4jConfiguration> <verbose>true</verbose> </configuration> <executions> <execution> <phase>process-classes</phase> <goals> <goal>enhance</goal> </goals> </execution> </executions> </plugin> According to the documentation on GoogleAppEngine, you have the choice to use JDO or JPA, I've chosen to use JPA since I have used it in the past. When I try to build my project (before I upload to GAE) using mvn clean package I get the following output [ERROR] BUILD ERROR [INFO] ------------------------------------------------------------------------ [INFO] Failed to resolve artifact. • Eclipse: export running configuration

    - by Jack
    Hello, I wrote a complex Java application with eclipse that uses many .jar libraries included into project folder. Is there a quick way to export a running configuration of the application that allows me to run it from shell (I don't actually need to move it around machines, so no jar export or similar things). I just need to detach the execution from Eclipse, but since project has many settings I would like to export a script (maybe .sh or just a plain long line) automatically.. Thanks!

My latest try is: vcm_hadoop lester jar /vcm/home/apps/hadoop/contrib/streaming/hadoop-*-streaming.jar -input /cruncher/201004/08/17/00 -output /lcuffcat9 -mapper /bin/cat -reducer NONE but I end up with multiple output files anyway. Anybody know how I can coax everything into a single output file?

  • How do I organise my libraries in sub-directories in a web application project

    - by Ravish Bhagdev
    I am working on a huge web-application with hundreds of dependencies (jar files). I want to organise the jars in sensible way as each piece of software comes with its bunch of jar files and when I want to remove or upgrade version of that software it will be easier to do if kept in sub directories. Problem is that when using a web-server (I'm using tomcat), all libs need to be under WEB-INF/lib folder, you cannot create subdirectories otherwise it doesn't load the jars in subdirectories. Thanks.

  • Build path issues learning Guice

    - by Preston
    I can't figure out why I'm getting this error below I have included all the appropriate jars as far as I can tell(I have included eclipses .classpath file below.) All of the classpath entries resolve just fine. What am I missing? The type javax.servlet.ServletContextListener cannot be resolved. It is indirectly referenced from required .class files on the "extends GuiceServletContextListener" line - import com.google.inject.Guice; import com.google.inject.Injector; import com.google.inject.servlet.GuiceServletContextListener; import com.google.inject.servlet.ServletModule; public class ServletConfig extends GuiceServletContextListener { @Override protected Injector getInjector() { return Guice.createInjector(new ServletModule(){ @Override protected void configureServlets() { // TODO: add necessary code to bind } }); } } .Classpath <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?> <classpath> <classpathentry kind="src" path="src"/> <classpathentry kind="con" path="org.eclipse.jdt.launching.JRE_CONTAINER/org.eclipse.jdt.internal.debug.ui.launcher.StandardVMType/jdk1.7.0_21"> <attributes> <attribute name="owner.project.facets" value="java"/> </attributes> </classpathentry> <classpathentry kind="con" path="oracle.eclipse.tools.glassfish.lib.system"> <attributes> <attribute name="owner.project.facets" value="jst.web"/> </attributes> </classpathentry> <classpathentry kind="con" path="org.eclipse.jst.j2ee.internal.web.container"/> <classpathentry kind="con" path="org.eclipse.jst.j2ee.internal.module.container"/> <classpathentry kind="lib" path="guice-3.0/aopalliance.jar"/> <classpathentry kind="lib" path="guice-3.0/guice-3.0.jar"/> <classpathentry kind="lib" path="guice-3.0/guice-servlet-3.0.jar"/> <classpathentry kind="lib" path="guice-3.0/javax.inject.jar"/> <classpathentry kind="output" path="build/classes"/> </classpath>

  • How do I run .class files on windows from command line?

    - by AndrejaKo
    Hi! I'm trying to run .class file from command line. It works when I manually move to the directory it's stored in, but when I try something like this: java C:\Peter\Michael\Lazarus\Main it says it can't find the main class. Is there any solution to this other than making a .jar file (I know that .jar is the best solution, but at this moment isn't the one I'm looking for)?
