  • Is there a summary of differences in rendering/behavior between QtWebKit and Chrome/Safari WebKit?

    I wrote a simple Qt application (Windows+Mac) that uses QtWebKit to render a web site inside a window. But I already saw differences in layout and behavior between our app and Chrome (that uses WebKit as well), e.g.: - different fonts are displayed for the same web page - an html anchor link with "javascript:someFunction()" is not working Is there somewhere a summary list of all such differences (not the entire QtWebKit bug list)? Also: is there a way to use a WebKit version more similar to Chrome in my application?

  • How do you set the title attribute of an ASP.NET MVC Html.ActionLink to the generated URL

    I would like users to be able to see the corresponding URL for an anchor tag generated by Html.ActionLink() when they hover over the link. This is done by setting the title attribute but where I'm stuck is figuring out how to get that value: @Html.ActionLink(@testrun.Name, "Download", "Trx", new { path = @testrun.TrxPath }, new { title = ??) How can I specify the URL that ActionLink is going to generate? I could hardcode something I guess but that violates DRY.

  • jQuery treat hover on two elements as one elements

    I have an image map which I have overlaid with some markers in the form of anchors. I currently have a hover trigger on each image map area and the associated anchor - as shown in screen shot I need to treat these two elements as one, as currently when mouse is moved out of one onto the other it calls .hover() and callback again. I want to call hover callback only when mouse is moved out of either elements.

Each application runs fine and I can link between apps using absolute URLs. Is there some way I can use or extend the URL helper class (functions like anchor(), redirect()... etc.) to generate links to controllers across applications. I would like to avoid absolute URLs Thanks!

  • jquery .find to get the text in a <li>

    So I have a series of 2 nested ul's. When you click on the text (which is in an a tag) in the li, my page makes that editable and adds a save button. clicking the save button needs to give me back the new text inside that li and the id of that li. The id is not a problem. I'm trying to use jQuery's .find to select that anchor tag (which is successful) but i can't seem to get the text from it.     I need to get informed when the user changes the font size in it's browser. I need it to reposition some elements which have to be relative in one dimension to an anchor inside a text. So far i haven't found anything and i'm a bit worried that it's not possible. In this case it should be possible to emulate it with a hidden div and some text inside and a script polling for changes of it's width. But i hope someone has a more elegant solution.

    i need a regular expressions string to get all anchor tags in a page with a specific css class name, in c#/vb.net this is what i got so far "<a.*?href=""(.*?)"".*?>(.*?)</a>" but my attempts to add "class=name" isnt working, also is it possible to find links where the class name appears either before or after the href with one expression ? i am familiar with 3rd party html libraries, but thats an overkill for what i have in mind, so is the webbrowser control.

If i set though the jquery code (f11/f10) the callback is called??!!!?
