  I have php script on hosting, which receive big data with ajax/post. Just now, after some works on hosting, I see that script is broken. I checked with curl: file temp1: user_avatar=&user_baner=&user_sig=.... 237 chars total, and curl -H "X-Requested-With: XMLHttpRequest" -X POST --data @temp1 'http://host/mypage.php' works perfect. • HTTP Caching Server that supports POST

  I am hosting a REST service which is sending appropriate cache-control headers. I use Varnish as a caching server in front of my webserver. However, a limitation of varnish is that it doesn't support caching HTTP POST and HTTP PUT. Is there any alternate caching server that will be able to cache these requests? I understand that caching POST is a bit tricky because you cannot just cache based on the url as a key like for GET; it needs to actually inspect the request body. In case of multipart/form-data requests, there should probably be a limit on the size of the request body for it to be cached (so that big file uploads, etc won't be cached). Nevertheless I really want to be able to cache short HTTP POST, or at least the application/x-www-form-urlencoded ones.

• Removing BIOS Post Messages

  I am working on a project where a standard x86 desktop system will boot and run a single program until it is shut down. I would like to remove all the bios post messages so that it looks a little more "finished" and cleaner when it starts up. I was hoping that there might by a standard implementation/terms to know about so I can avoid having to dig through every manual to see if there are options, or get some advice on a standard set of tools I should be using. I was thinking about getting a board that has an image that covers up the post messages until you press a key and trying to customize it to all black, but it's not clear if this is a good direction. I started looking for OEM motherboards but my searches were filled with standard commercial stuff, or seemed to be way to big for my toy project. What is the best way to go about removing all the bios post messages and just having a blank screen or "loading" message until OS loads?

• JDBC Lock a row using SELECT FOR UPDATE, doesn't work

  I am having issues with MySQL's SELECT .. FOR UPDATE, here is the query I am trying to run: SELECT * FROM tableName WHERE HostName='UnknownHost' ORDER BY UpdateTimestamp asc limit 1 FOR UPDATE After this, the concerned thread will do an UPDATE and change the HostName, which is then it should unlock the row. I am running a multi-threaded java application, so 3 threads are running this SQL statement, but when thread 1 runs this, it doesn't lock its results from thread 2 & 3. Therefore threads 2 & 3 are getting the same results and they could update the same row. Also each thread is on its own mysql connection. I'm using Innodb, with transaction-isolation = READ-COMMITTED, and the Autocommit is off before executing the select for update may I miss something? OR perhaps there is a better solution?   REFORMULATED QUESTION (Apr 24): I am using the CRM Developer Toolkit for VS2012 to create a CRM2011 plugin. The plugin is registered for the CREATE message of the "Invoice Product" entity. Pipeline-Stage is post-operational, execution is synchronous. I register for a post image that contains baseamount. (I also noticed that the postImage does not contain all but only a subset of the entities I registered for.) • Can't boot after recent system update

  Dear all, After recent system update (I think I saw something kernelish but don't really remember) my Ubuntu becomes unbootable. When I select "Ubuntu" from the boot menu, I'm greeted by a GRUB console and I don't know what to do (typing help shows some helpful commands for gods, unfortunately I'm a mere mortal).
