  • Rails each loop insert tag every 6 items?

    Hello Stack Anon, I have X number of image objects that I need to loop through in a view and want to create a new div every 6 objects or so (for a gallery). I have looked at cycle but it seems to change every other record. Does anyone know of a way to insert code into a view every 6 times? I could probably do it with nested loops but I am kinda stumped on this one. Thanks!

    Hi, I am new to PL/SQL, I'm trying to execute the commands that I learned at the course. VARIABLE area NUMBER DECLARE radius NUMBER(2) := &s_radius; pi CONSTANT NUMBER := 3.14; BEGIN :area := pi * radius * radius; END; I understand that I can run this using SqlPlus, but I remember my teacher was running this from the web browser using Application Express. I try to run the same commands there, at HOME SQLSQL Commands, but I keep getting the error "ORA-00900: invalid SQL statement" . Can you help me run it in Application Express or point me to a way where I can use an editor to run these course exercises? Thanks!

    when i run exe(MFC Dialog based application) in Win 2k3 Fails to run(MSJAVA.dll Missing error).but the same exe runs successfully in WIN xp Edit: As per the solution by Goz ,I have downloaded the MSJAVA.dll and tried to run the exe,but am getting the below error, "The Side-by-Side configuration information for "f:\test\TESTCSDATACHANGEEVENTS.EXE" contains errors. This application has failed to start because the application configuration is incorrect. Reinstalling the application may fix this problem (14001)."

It appears possible to use it as a 'foreach' operator for example: var arr = ['a','b','c'] var doubles = arr.map(function(val){ return val + val }) Is this better or worse than saying for(var i in arr){ ... 50/50: saves having to use the index but adds a callback; it doesn't seem very common so I hesitate to use it but still want to.

    Hi I have the following SSIS package: The problem is that within the Foreach loop a connection is opened and closed for each iteration. On running SQL Profiler I see a series of: Audit Login RPC:Completed Audit Lout The duration for the login and the RPC that actually does the work is minimal. However, the duration for the logout is significant, running into several seconds each. This causes the JOB to run very slowly - taking many hours. I get the same problem when running either on a test server or stand-alone laptop. Could anyone please suggest how I may change the package to improve performance? Also, I have noticed that when running the package from Visual Studio, it looks as though it continues to run with the component blocks going amber then green but actually all the processing has been completed and SQL profiler has dropped silent?   • How do I extend the classpath used for 'grails run-app'

    I have the following in my Config.groovy file: grails.config.locations = [ "classpath:env.groovy" ] Now, where exactly am I supposed to place "env.groovy" such that it is available on the CLASSPATH during grails run-app? The documentation here is sorely lacking. I am able to get it to work on the pure commandline by placing "env.groovy" in $APP_HOME/etc and then running: $ grails -classpath ./etc run-app This seems a little hackish, but I can live with it... However, I am unable to get any such configuration working when I launch run-app using the Grails eclipse plugin (STS): Unable to load specified config location classpath:env.groovy : class path resource [env.groovy] cannot be opened because it does not exist I've seen related posts here, here, here, and here but the answers have been unfulfilling. I am looking for a CLASSPATH-based solution that will work with 'run-app' in development mode (both commandline and from eclipse). I know how to set up the CLASSPATH for my deployment servlet container, so that is not an issue.

    Hi there, I have a date format like this : $date1 = "Sun May 09 20:07:50 +0000 2010"; and I have to convert it to: 09-05-2010 I am using date("d-m-Y", $date1)); When I print this individually it gives proper result but I am using it in loop it gives me results like: 31-12-1969 I don't understand why this is so? Can you help, please?
