  I have clicked on a div. In this div is an image: <div class="grid_2 shareContent" id="facebook_45"> <a href="#"><img class="facebook" src="http://roepingen.kk/skins/admin/default/images/social/facebook.png" alt="Facebook not shared" width="32px" height="32px" /></a> </div> How can I change the image in the div? I have the clicked item saved in the variable 'clicked'. If possible I'd like to delete the link around the image also.

• How can I specify my own Rhino context in Java?

  I'm trying to ensure that my Rhino scripts (running under Java 6) are strict so that if a script developer misspells an expression I want an exception to be thrown. Currently what happens is the expression simply evaluates to "undefined". Now according to Mozilla org https://developer.mozilla.org/en/New_in_Rhino_1.6R6 there are features to enable strict checking in the context. I cannot find a working example of this. What I did so far was write a class to extend ContextFactory and then override the hasFeature method. public class ScriptContextFactory extends ContextFactory { protected boolean hasFeature(Context context, int featureIndex) { switch (featureIndex) { case Context.FEATURE_STRICT_EVAL: return true; case Context.FEATURE_STRICT_VARS: return true; } return super.hasFeature(context, featureIndex); } } Then in the Main I set mine to the default. ContextFactory.initGlobal(new ScriptContextFactory()); and I get an illegal state exception. :( Any ideas or samples on how this works? TIA

  I created a console application in C# and running it on windows/.NET is 5x faster than on linux/mono or windows/mono. The app encodes some binary files into text format(JSON). • Is it possible to exclude some files from checkin (TFS) ?

  We use configuration files within various projects under source control (TFS), where each developer has to make some adjustments in his local copy to configure his environment. The build process takes care about replacing the config files with the server configuration as a part of the deployment, so it doesn't actually matter what is in the repository. However, we would anyway like to keep some kind of a default non-breaking version of config files in the repository, so that e.g. people not involved in the particular project won't run into troubles because of local misconfiguration. We tried to resolve this by introducing the check-in policy that simply forbids to check-in the config files. This works fine, but just because we're lazy to always uncheck those checkboxes in the pending changes window, the question comes : is it possible to transparently disable the check-in of particular files without keeping them out of source control (e.g. locking their current version) ?

  Django newbie here. I wrote simplified login form which takes email and password. It works great if both email and password are supplied, but if either is missing i get KeyError exception. According to django documentation this should never happen: By default, each Field class assumes the value is required, so if you pass an empty value -- either None or the empty string ("") -- then clean() will raise a ValidationError exception I tried to write my own validators for fields (clean_email and clean_password), but it doesn't work (ie I get KeyError exception). • Drupal: installing it in a subfolder...

  hi, this is a question about drupal installation on server. I usually upload my drupal into a subfolder "drupal" and I ask my customers to check the website in such subfolders until when it is ready. Then I asl to change the default folder in Apache to the "drupal" one. Sometimes my customer cannot change Apache configuration, so I was wondering if I can use a php script to forward users from root folder to the drupal one, or I should move the website to the root folder (which I would prefer to avoid, because is time consuming). thanks

  Hello, How to set the values for filter is explained here link text. I have two requirements. 1. the default value needs to be empty. I expect, if defaultValue is not set, the filter is empty, but that is not happening in my case. The first value is 2. How to escape ':' in my value. The character ':' and ';' are used to seperate the index and values. But, in my value string it contains a ':' (eg: searchoptions:{value:"1:'Level: 1'"} , where Level: 1 is my first value). How to escape : in the value part. I tried \ , / etc. thanks.

  i have an RoR application Log, which similar to the book store app, my logs_controller has all default action: index, show, update, create, delete.. now i need to add new action :toCSV, i defined it in logs_controller, and add new route in the config/routes as: map.resources :logs, :collection = { :toCSV = :get }. from irb, i checked the routes and see the new routes added already: rs = ActionController::Routing::Routes puts rs.routes GET /logs/toCSV(.:format)? {:controller="logs", :action="toCSV"} then ran ‘rake routes’ command in shell, it returned: toCSV_logs GET /logs/toCSV(.:format) {:controller="logs", :action="toCSV"} everything seems working. finally in my views code, i added the following: link_to 'Export to CSV', toCSV_logs_path when access it in the brower 'http://localhost:3000/logs/toCSV', it complained: Couldn't find Log with ID=toCSV i checked in script/server, and saw this one: ActiveRecord::RecordNotFound (Couldn't find Log with ID=toCSV): app/controllers/logs_controller.rb:290:in `show' seems when i click that link, it direct it to the action 'show' instead of 'toCSV', thus it took 'toCSV' as an id...anyone know why would this happen? and to fix it?   I've read several questions here concerning Tomcat and logging but I still really don't understand the "bigger picture", hence my question: How and where are my Webapps supposed to do their logging? By default on my setup Tomcat 6.0.20 logs go in the following file/appender: ./apache-tomcat-6.0.20/logs/catalina.out Am I suppose to have my webapps also log to this file/appender? Let say my case is trivially simple and I've got just one servlet: import ... // What do I import here in order to be able to log? public class SOServlet extends HttpServlet { public void doGet( final HttpServletRequest request, final HttpServletResponse response ) throws IOException, ServletException { ... // I want to log here, what do I write? What are the gotchas knowing that there are more than one webapp running on the same Tomcat? (apparently from reading the various questions there are many gotchas). What about the .war, do I need to put log4j/sl4f/commons-logging/whatever in my .war?

• Extending LINQ classes to my own partial classes in different namespaces?

  I have a .dbml file which of course contains the auto-generated classes based on my tables. I would however, like to extend them to my own classes. Typically I design such that each of my tables get their own namespace in their own folder containing all of their associated dao and service classes. So if I am dealing with a page that only has to do with 'customers' for instance, I can only include the customerNS. But when using LINQ I seem to be unable to do this. I have tried removing a default namespace from the project, I have tried putting the .dbml file into it's own folder with a custom namespace and then adding a 'using' statement, but no nothing works. I also saw the Entity Namespace, Context Namespace, and Custom Tool Namespace properties associated with the .dbml file and tried setting all these to names x and trying 'using x' in my other class to allow me to extend partial classes, but it just doesn't work. Is this possible or do I have to keep all extended partial classes in the same namespace as the .dbml file?

Class A has private default constructor and protected parameterized constructor. I want Class B to be able to access all the protected functions defined in Class A but class C can have access on some of the functions only not all the functions and class C is inheriting class B. How can I restrict access to some of the functions of Class A from Class C ?   If I do the following: int c0 = CHAR_MAX; //8 bit int c1 = CHAR_MAX; //8-bit int i = c0*c1; //store in 32-bit variable printf("%d\n", i); //prints 16129 We can see that there is no problem with to 8-bit numbers being multiplied together, and producing a 32-bit output. However, if I do int i0 = INT_MAX; //32-bit int i1 = INT_MAX; //32 bit variable long long int ll = i0*i1; //store in 64-bit variable printf("%lld\n", ll); //prints 1..overflow!! In this case, two 32-bit variables were multiplied together, overflowed, and then were assigned to the 64-bit variable. So why did this overflow happen when multiplying the ints, but not the chars? Is it dependent on the default word-size of my machine? (32-bits)

  Hi, I am trying to include jpeg files in latex \includegraphics[width=57.6mm, height=43.2mm]{../../results2/html/zerooneloss_stumps.jpg} With specified the width and height and compiled with pdflatex, however, it produces the error: ! LaTeX Error: Cannot determine size of graphic in ../../results2/html/zerooneloss_stumps.jpg (no BoundingBox). The true size of the image is 576x432 in pixels. Have I specified the size correctly in the latex file? Anyway to use the default setting without need to specify the width and height? If I don't specify the them in the latex file, \includegraphics[]{../../results2/html/zerooneloss_stumps.jpg} I still get the same no BoundingBox error. Thanks and regards!

• jQuery jPicker path issues when used in WordPress Theme Options

  Anyone with experience using jPicker colorpicker in a WordPress Custom Theme options panel. I believe that the default path for the jPicker resources is /jPicker/ relative to the location the js file appears, however, I'm not seeing the picker.gif icon, so I tried changing the path in the js file like so... images:{clientPath:"../wp-content/themes/myTheme/images/" Everything else appears to be working at first load. My bound input field's background color is the same as the currently selected color. However, the picker.gif icon is missing. Where it should appear, I've just got a 2px wide by 20px tall color element (looks like a div perhaps).

On the extended downloads page, version 2.0.3 is deprecated. Am I launching it the wrong server executable, or are there plans to support a more recent version of Redis?

  Hi, I'm using the BlazeDS binary version with Apache tomcat 6.0. And it seems there's a developer mode active and it only allows 3 IPs to connect to the application (Server). This is what the log says: [BlazeDS]MessageBroker '__default__' rejected connection from address 'xxx.xxx.xx.x'; Developer mode addresses already in use: xxx.x.xxx.xx, xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx, xx.xxx.xxx.xx (IP addresses are masked with 'x' for privacy) I have not added any special configuration to make developer mode active. I couldn't find any resources related to this scenario either. Please help. Thanks in Advance.

• Starting synergy automatically on RHEL/CentOS

  I have a Red Had Enterprise Linux 5 and a CentOS 5 box, both of which I am trying to configure to automatically connect to a synergy server on startup. I have followed the guide at http://synergy2.sourceforge.net/autostart.html and configured them the same way I configured previous Ubuntu 7.10 boxes, and this only seems to get me half way there. Currently, synergy connects at the login screen, but once I login, it doesn't come back up. I added the following lines to /etc/gdm/{Init,PostLogin,PreSession}/Default : /usr/bin/killall synergyc sleep 1 /usr/bin/synergyc fried-chicken # Init,PreSession only All files are owned by root:root with 755 permissions, I'm just not sure what I'm missing here.

  In my project I have a class, NewsItem. Instances of NewsItem act like a wrapper. They can be associated with either an ArtWork instance, or an Announcement instance. • Changing expiry on ASP.NET's Session State cookie

  I'm using ASP.NET Session State to keep track of logged in users on my site. However, one problem I'm running into is that by default ASP.NET session cookies are set to expire when the browser closes. I've tried setting my own ASP.NET_SessionId cookie and modifying the cookie's expiry using something similar to the following code: Response.Cookies["ASP.NET_SessionId"].Expires = DateTime.Now.AddMonths(1); None of these approaches work, they all set a second cookie with the same name. Is there a way of changing the session cookie's expiry?
