    Hi, is it possible to send data in ObjC (strings, much strings), and receive them in DotNet C#? The background is I have an Iphone App from and to that I will send data and on the other side a dotnet application that will recieve and sent data. Has someone an howto / idea where to begin?

    Has anyone gotten UIFileSharingEnabled or CFBundleDocumentTypes to work? I added UIFileSharingEnabled as true to my plist and used Apple's example from the link below for CFBundleDocumentTypes, but can't seem to get it to work.     hello all, I am looking for component that can handle a spesific date. what i am trying to do is to get Astring fron sever that represent date(for example 04-08-2012) in my iphone i want to be able to "work" with this date. such to compare it to another date , check if the date in the past or future and to print it to the app GUI i tried work with NSDate but i didnt found how can i set a spesific date? thanks

    Hi all In our project we use FB connect authorization. For authentication via mobile phone using the link http://m.facebook.com/tos.php?api_key=2461ce...7e76&v=1.0&next=http://beta.my_servicet.net/fb_connects/new_merge&cancel=http://beta.my_servicet.net/account The user gets to FB and enter your username and password, then it should redirect to http://beta.my_servicet.net/fb_connects/new_merge But instead we see a screen with the text "Redirecting ...". Nothing else happens. My phone is iPhone.

    Hi, The iPhone has a functionality that when a google maps URL is typed into (or linked) the mobile browser it will open the Google Maps app instead of displaying it in the mobile browser. Now I'm wondering if that same functionality exists for say a Nokia (Symbian) phone? Is there a way to set up the link to open the Google maps app on the Symbian phone?

There are quite a few javascript (Flot...) charting libraries but I'd rather use something similar to Coreplot on iPhone if it is possible. I didn't find anything on top of SVG (JSR 226) or open GL ES (JSR 239) so any help is appreciated. If you have to create a screencast or promotional video of your Android application, the default skin of the emulator is no good. Is there any way to configure the emulator to look like an Android device? If you have dealt with this already, what other things do you recommend taking into account to record an emulator screencast? Not a programming question per se, but an useful question for Android developers.

Here's what I'm doing with the skins, I have a folder which contains some images and a xml file which maps the images to the keyboard, I want to be able to have the folder as a zip file like in Office 2007 (.docx) and iPhone firmwares (.ipsw), I know I can simply zip the folder and change the extension, what I need to know is how to read the files in the code.     I have a website that is using the viewport META tag to tell mobile browsers how to display content ( ). Viewing the page in the Android browser looks correct (and iPhone, etc). When I load the page into a WebView component in an android Application, the WebView ignores the "VIEWPORT" tag, and renders the page at "full" resolution, which is zoomed-in in this case.

I assume I need to crop it up into smaller tiles. Questions: what is the tile strategy? I had to make minor modifications to make it work till now.
