    Hello, I'm going to develop gui-based application for tor controlling (like vidalia or torK). Are there any libraries for using tor? I don't want to parse each byte of information from sockets. My program should display branches of computers, use chosen as traffic-provider etc. What I need in my case? Are there any small and simple samples (for example open-source projects) to do this.

  • iPhone - NSURLConnection does not receive data

    Hi, I have a pretty weird problem with NSURLRequest. I'm using them to make an asynchronous image loading in an UITableView. The first time the tableView displays, all connections from NSURLRequests open correctly but receive absolutely no data, regardless of how long I wait. But as soon as I scroll down in the tableView, the newly created requests for the new cells work perfectly! The only way for the images on top of the tableView to load is to make them disappear by scrolling down and then up again, in order to create new requests. These work, but are never called for the first requests I create. I suspect this bug to come from the main thread not giving the first requests the control so they can execute themselves, as the same behavior happens if I keep my finger on the screen after a scroll: connections open themselves, but no data is received until I stop touching the screen. What am I doing wrong?

    I have a CSV file that contains extra newlines in some fields, e.g.: A, B, C, D, E, F 123, 456, tree , very, bla, indigo I tried the following: import csv catalog = csv.reader(open('test.csv', 'rU'), delimiter=",", dialect=csv.excel_tab) for row in catalog: print "Length: ", len(row), row and the result I got was this: Length: 6 ['A', ' B', ' C', ' D', ' E', ' F'] Length: 3 ['123', ' 456', ' tree'] Length: 4 [' ', ' very', ' bla', ' indigo'] Does anyone have any idea how I can quickly remove extraneous newlines?     Hi all , Im trying to read in image file from a server , with the code below . It keeps going into the exception. I know the correct number of bytes are being sent as I print them out when received. I have been at it since and the result of all my efforts have either resulted in a file that is not the full size or else the app crashing. I know the file is not corrupt before sending server side. As far as I can tell its definitely sending too as the send all method in python sends all or throws an exception in the event of an error and so far it has never thrown an exception. So the client side is messed up . I have to send the file from the server so I cant use the suggestion suggested by Brian .

  • NHibernate does not update entity when repository is passed by constructor

    Hi everybody, I am developing with NHibernate for the first time in conjunction with ASP.NET MVC and StructureMap. The CodeCampServer serves as a great example for me. I really like the different concepts which were implemented there and I can learn a lot from it. In my controllers I use Constructur Dependency Injection to get an instance of the specific repository needed.     Do graphic cards have instruction sets of their own? I assume they do, but I have been wondering if it is proprietary or if there is some sort of open standard. Is every GPU instruction preceded by a CPU instruction or is it seamless? That is does OpenGL or DirectX call on the driver layer via the CPU which then sends a GPU instruction down the bus or is it more elaborate.

  • C Named pipe (fifo). Parent process gets stuck

    I want to make a simple program, that fork, and the child writes into the named pipe and the parent reads and displays from the named pipe. BUT I do not know how to send data reusing the same TCP from browser to server. so there is not the 3 way handshake and only 2 tcp packets.     On Page1.aspx...I have the following ...more hiddenFields Page2.aspx would be displayed in a new window and I need to grab the hiddenField values on this page. I can now get it to open in a new window and get those form values. The problem is lnkBtn is repeated in a listview and each link has a different value or id associated with the link. How do I pass in the unique id to Page2.aspx and grab the hiddenField?
