  • Jqplot - How to have vertical lines and make xaxis go up in plotted values?

    - by Beginner
I have plotted a line graph using jqplot. What i would like is vertical lines and to start from 3 and go up in the plotted values along the bottom. so 3, 6, 9, 12 , 15, 29, 36 Also a dash marker along the left. This is what i have at the moment: $(document).ready(function(){ $.jqplot('chart2', [[[3, @(Model.LearnerWeek[0])], [6, @(Model.LearnerWeek[1])], [9, @(Model.LearnerWeek[2])], [12, @(Model.LearnerWeek[3])], [15, @(Model.LearnerWeek[4])], [29, @(Model.LearnerWeek[5])], [36, @(Model.LearnerWeek[6])]], [[3, @(Model.ManagerWeek[0])], [6, @(Model.ManagerWeek[1])], [9, @(Model.ManagerWeek[2])], [12, @(Model.ManagerWeek[3])], [15, @(Model.ManagerWeek[4])], [29, @(Model.ManagerWeek[5])], [36, @(Model.ManagerWeek[6])]]], { axes: { yaxis: { tickOptions: { show: false}, min: 0, max: 100, label: 'Participation Rate', labelRenderer: $.jqplot.CanvasAxisLabelRenderer }, xaxis: { min: 3, max: 36, label: 'Week', tickOptions: { formatString: '%d' } } }, seriesDefaults: { showMarker: false , rendererOptions: { diameter: undefined, // diameter of pie, auto computed by default. padding: 10, // padding between pie and neighboring legend or plot margin. fill: true, // render solid (filled) slices. shadowOffset: 2, // offset of the shadow from the chart. shadowDepth: 15, // Number of strokes to make when drawing shadow. Each stroke // offset by shadowOffset from the last. shadowAlpha: 1 // Opacity of the shadow } }, seriesColors: ['#3591cf', '#ef4058', '#73C774', '#C7754C', '#17BDB8'] }); }); I have played around with render options and xasis but cant seem to work it out

  • Approaches to timing out sessions on a web app using AJAX autorefreshes

    - by Braintapper
I'm writing a web application that autorefreshes data with an AJAX call at set intervals. Because it's doing that, server side user sessions never time out, since the last activity is refreshed with every ajax call. Are there good client side rules I could implement to time out the user? I.e. should I track mouse movements in the browser, etc., or should I point the AJAX calls to URLs that don't refresh the session? I like that my AJAX calls hit a session-enabled URL, because I can also validate that the user is logged in, etc. Any thoughts in terms of whether I should even bother timing out the users?

  • Rendering "partial" pages in ASP.Net? (without the <html> and such)

    - by Earlz
Hello, I am trying to make use of jQueryUI AJAX tabs in my ASP.Net Webforms project. I have come up against a wall though. For AJAX, you must render only a partial page(no <html> and such elements) by an external URL. How would you best do this in ASP.Net? aspx files require things like a <html> and <head> tag so those wouldn't work so the only thing that comes to mind is using cumbersome ashx files. Am I just over thinking this? Is there an easier way?

  • Jeditable doubling up on linebreaks every edit

    - by st3
I'm using var retval = value.replace(/<br[\s\/]?>/gi, '\n'); To strip the <br> tags from the textarea and nl2br('$_POST('newValueHere')') to insert into my database and to return back to jeditable to display the edits. The only problem I'm having is that each click on the editable field seems to make all the <br> tags be written twice? This makes no sense, does anyone have any ideas what could be going on?

  • How do I get only two form fields to show instead of all 5 on initial page load? CSS

    - by marcamillion
Here is the implementation: http://jsfiddle.net/AdQfB/2/ If you notice, when you click 'Login' or 'Register' before entering anything, you should see a few fields disappear and re-appear respectively. I would like for this page to display the view of just the two fields on the first load (rather than the current 5 it shows on first load), then when the user clicks the 'register' link, it shows the other 3 - for a total of 5. How do I do that? Thanks

  • Nested Execution Flow Control

    - by chris
I've read tens of answers related to callbacks, promises and other ways to control flow, but I can't still wrap my head around this task, obviously due to my lack of competence. I have a nested problem: In test_1() (and the other functions) I would like to ensure that the rows are added to the table according to the order in which the elements are in the object; I would like to execute either test_2 or test_3 (or both after each other) only after test_1 has finished completely. Actually the right sequence will only be known at runtime (there will be a switch with the possible sequences, like 1,2,3 or 1,3,2 or 1,2,1,3 or 1,3,3,2, etc...) Code: $(function () { // create table tbl = document.createElement('table'); tbl.className = "mainTbl"; $("body").append(tbl); }); function test_1() { $.each(obj, function () { var img = new Image(); img.onload = function () { // add row of data to table var row = tbl.insertRow(-1); var c1 = row.insertCell(0); c1.innerHTML = "loaded"; }; img.onerror = function () { // add row of data to table var row = tbl.insertRow(-1); var c1 = row.insertCell(0); c1.innerHTML = "not loaded"; }; img.src = this.url; }); } function test_2() { $.each(obj, function () { var img = new Image(); img.onload = function () { // add row of data to table var row = tbl.insertRow(-1); var c1 = row.insertCell(0); c1.innerHTML = "loaded"; }; img.onerror = function () { // add row of data to table var row = tbl.insertRow(-1); var c1 = row.insertCell(0); c1.innerHTML = "not loaded"; }; img.src = this.url; }); } function test_3() { $.each(obj, function () { var img = new Image(); img.onload = function () { // add row of data to table var row = tbl.insertRow(-1); var c1 = row.insertCell(0); c1.innerHTML = "loaded"; }; img.onerror = function () { // add row of data to table var row = tbl.insertRow(-1); var c1 = row.insertCell(0); c1.innerHTML = "not loaded"; }; img.src = this.url; }); } I know that calling the functions in sequence doesn't work as they don't wait for each other... I think promises are they way to go but I can't find the right combination and the documentation is way too complex for my skills. What's the best way to structure the code so that it's executed in the right order?

  • Display/Hide part of a list

    - by superexsl
Hi I have an (unordered)list (generated by a repeater) of items. However, I'd like to show the first three items, and have the rest hidden by the main content div. When a button is pressed, I would like the list's div to expand, pushing the main content div down and showing the rest of the list. I was thinking of using slideDown(), but that closes the entire div ( and I would like to show the first 3 items of the list). What would be the best way to achieve an effect like this? Is there a plugin that can easily show X items of a list and the display the rest upon request? Thanks

  • how do you get qTip to have proper width when loading content via ajax

    - by ooo
i have an asp.net mvc site and here is a dynamic tooltip using qTip Here is my code: $('a.showNutritionInfo').each(function() { $(this).qtip({ content: { text: '<img src="../../images/ajax-loader1.gif" alt="" />', style: { width: 450 }, url: '/Tracker/NutritionInfo/' + $(this).attr('id'), method: 'get' } }); }); this works perfectly EXCEPT the width attribute listed above is ignored. No matter what i put in that width attribute, i get the same size width tooltip which is about half of the width that i need. the height is perfectly fine. any ideas? is this a bug in the product ?
