  • Reading Resource Files from my own APK in Android Native Environment

    I'm porting to Android. My existing project has a ton of resource files that I'm porting into my Android project. I have them all in /res/raw/, and I would like to access those resources in my native library with functions such as fopen() and such. Can this be done, or do I have to go through JNI for this as well? I would really prefer not to, for ease of porting and possible speed and memory reasons.

Also when I close the spell checker the main form is back to normal. It seems like it is opening up Microsoft word then hiding the window, only allowing the spell checker to be seen. Please help.

    I've seen examples online of people using __getattr__ with Django models, but whenever I try I get errors. (Django 1.2.3) I don't have any problems when I am using __getattr__ on normal objects.   • django custom management command does not show up in production

    I wrote a custom management command for django. Locally with my dev settings everything works fine. Now I deployed my project onto the production server and the management command does not show up, respectively is not available. But I did not get an error message deploying the project (syncdb). Any ideas where I could try to begin to search? Is there a special command that all custom management commands are "autodiscovered"?

  • Query an XmlDocument without getting a 'Namespace prefix is not defined' problem

    I've got an Xml document that both defines and references some namespaces. I load it into an XmlDocument object and to the best of my knowledge I create a XmlNamespaceManager object with which to query Xpath against. Problem is I'm getting XPath exceptions that the namespace "my" is not defined. How do I get the namespace manager to see that the namespaces I am referencing are already defined. Or rather how do I get the namespace definitions from the document to the namespace manager. Furthermore tt strikes me as strange that you have to provide a namespace manager to the document which you create from the documents nametable in the first place. Even if you need to hardcode manual namespaces why can't you add them directly to the document. Why do you always have to pass this namespace manager with every single query? What can't XmlDocument just know?     I have an image lock.png beside of my WPF exe file in the images folder.   • Mercurial/.hgignore - How do I ignore everything but the contents of a folder?

    I have a NetBeans project and the Mercurial repository is in the project root. I would like it to ignore everything except the contents of the "src" and "test" folders, and .hgignore itself. I'm not familiar with regular expressions and can't come up with one that will do that. The ones I tried: (?!src/.*) (?!test/.*) (?!^.hgignore) (?!src/.|test/.|.hgignore) These seem to ignore everything, I can't figure out why. Any advice would be great.

  • References between ASP.NET web applications.

    I have a Visual Studio solution containing two web applications. I would like the first to depend on the second (pages in the first may contain links to, or possibly post to pages in the second). Furthermore, I would like to be able to launch the first project on a development server (standard debugging procedure for web apps in VS) and have the references to the second project be fully functional. Does anyone know the best way to achieve this? Thanks.

  • UINavigationBar unresponsive after canceling a UITableView search in nav controller in tab bar in a popover

    Ok, this is an odd one and I can reproduce it with a new project easily. Here is the setup: I have a UISplitViewController. In the left side I have a UITabBarController. In this tab bar controller I have two UINavigationControllers. In the navigation controllers I have UITableViewControllers. These table views have search bars on them. Ok, what happens with this setup is that if I'm in portrait mode and bring up this view in the popover and I start a search in one of the table views and cancel it, the navigation bar becomes unresponsive. That is, the "back" button as well as the right side button cannot be clicked. If I do the exact same thing in landscape mode so we are not in a popover, this doesn't happen. The navigation bar stays responsive. So, the problem only seems to happen inside a popover. I've also noticed that if I do the search but click on an item in the search results which ends up loading something into the "detail view" of the split view and dismissing the popover, and then come back to the popover and then click the Cancel button for the search, the navigation bar is responsive. My application is a universal app and uses the same tab bar controller in the iPhone interface and it works there without this issue. As I mentioned above, I can easily reproduce this with a new project. Here are the steps if you want to try it out yourself: start new project - split view create new UITableViewController class (i named TableViewController) uncomment out the viewDidLoad method as well as the rightBarButtonItem line in viewDidLoad (so we will have an Edit button in the navigation bar) enter any values you want to return from numberOfSectioinsInTableView and numberOfRowsInSection methods open MainWindow.xib and do the following: please note that you will need to be viewing the xib in the middle "view mode" so you can expand the contents of the items drag a Tab Bar Controller into the xib to replace the Navigation Controller item drag a Navigation Controller into the xib as another item under the Tab Bar Controller delete the other two view controllers that are under the Tab Bar Controller (so, now our tab bar has just the one navigation controller on it) inside the navigation controller, drag in a Table View Controller and use it to replace the View Controller (Root View Controller) change the class of the new Table View Controller to the class created above (TableViewController for me) double-click on the Table View under the new Table View Controller to open it up (will be displayed in the tab bar inside the split view controller) drag a "Search Bar and Search Display" onto the table view save the xib run the project in simulator while in portrait mode, click on the Root List button to bring up popover notice the Edit button is clickable click in the Search box - we go into search mode click the Cancel button to exit search mode notice the Edit button no longer works So, can anyone help me figure out why this is happening?     Hello, I wrote a complex Java application with eclipse that uses many .jar libraries included into project folder. Is there a quick way to export a running configuration of the application that allows me to run it from shell (I don't actually need to move it around machines, so no jar export or similar things). I just need to detach the execution from Eclipse, but since project has many settings I would like to export a script (maybe .sh or just a plain long line) automatically.. Thanks!

When I go to compile options -- target framework... .NET 4 isn't on the list. Is .net 4 not compatible with VS2008? It would be nice if Microsoft stated that somewhere...

    I am trying to load a dll in java using the following code System.loadLibrary("mydll"); The project is placed in D:\development\project\ and i have placed the dll on D:. I then gave following VM argument in eclipse configuration -Djava.library.path=D:/ But when i run i get UnsatisifiedLinkerError. After googling a bit, I used System.load("D:\mydll.dll"); but again getting the same problem, could someone can help?

    I'm trying to create a IVsTextViewAdpater with the IVsEditorAdaptersFactoryService but when I call CreateVsTextViewAdapter it throws an object null reference: var editorFactory = componentModel.GetService<IVsEditorAdaptersFactoryService>(); var serviceProvider = (Microsoft.VisualStudio.OLE.Interop.IServiceProvider)this; var view = editorFactory.CreateVsTextViewAdapter(serviceProvider); 'this' is a Microsoft.VisualStudio.Shell.Package implementation. Any ideas?

  • Asp.Net MVC missing style and defaults to logon page

    I just setup an out of the box "W2K8 R2 Web" server and installed IIS 7 out of the box. Then I installed the .NET4 framework and ran "aspnet_regiis -i" command. I created a site using .NET 4.0 Integrated app pool. I created an MVC application using the default MVC project template, without modifying I compiled the project and deploy the files using (Publish) to the virtual directory. I can pull the site up, but the styles are missing from the page and for some reason it routing to the /Account/LogOn?ReturnUrl=/
