    I'm coding a 'Connect to Meeting' page where i would like the link that allows attendees to join our GoToMeeting event to 'become active' 15 minutes prior to the start time. So the page users visit to see the connection info (meetingID, password) includes the start time of the meeting. I need a button ('Connect To Meeting') to change from inactive to Active when [Now() < (StartTime()-15minutes)].

  • how do I disable options based on the previous selection?

    I have three drop-down menus for each sample shirt; product, colour and grade. Not all products are available in all colours and/or grades. I would like to disable the options that are not available based on the users selection. I've tried using this answer here (using a radio select). Unfortunately, I can't get it to work with an option-selected input. This is what I'm working on - quartus.ca/select-options.html Any guidance would be appreciated.

    I am trying to code in javascript (to avoid validation triggers at the server) to clear a text box if the checkbox associated with it is unchecked. I have this code ... <input type="checkbox" id="chkOTHER" onclick="document.getElementById('txtOtherFlag').value='';" /> <asp:TextBox ID="txtOtherFlag" runat="server" AutoPostBack="True" CausesValidation="True" ValidationGroup="ValidationGroup1"></asp:TextBox> The problem is the Javascript inside the checkbox is not triggering to remove the value in the text box. Even if this worked, it's incorrect as it would blank out the text box every time the checkbox is triggered whether it is checked or not. I need to resolve this in the client side only. Thank you

What they are doing is adding a img tag to memory but storing it in a variable and using that to see if the image is loaded with the load event.   • serializeArray doesn't include submit-button value

    Hi, I got two submit buttons in a form. One that deletes the post, and one to edit it. I want to display a fancybox with either the edit-form or a message saying that the user deleted the post. It's all decided by which button was pushed, with a "if(isset)"-sentence in edit.php. However I can't figure out how to get the value of the button within the serializeArray..     I am studying Backbone and the todo example apps from http://todomvc.com/ I have noticed there are 3 severals ways of starting the code in the files: $(function() { // code here }); $(function( $ ) { // code here }); (function() { // code here }()); I do not understand the differences and when I should use one over the other. I also saw some people using this to start their code: $(document).ready(function(){ // code here }); From what I have seen, this is the full way of writing it right? In a more general way, should I always include my javascript code into something like that in each files? Thanks for your advice.

  • Basic Ajax Cache Issue

    I have a single page that I need to on occasion asynchronously check the server to see if the status of the page is current (basically, Live or Offline). You will see I have a function with a var live that is set when the page initially loads. I then do an ajax request to the server to retrieve whether the status of live is true or false. I compare the initial live variable with the newly returned data json object. If they're the same I do nothing, but if there different I apply some css classes. I recursively run it with setTimeout (Is there a better way to recursively do this?). My Problem: data.live doesn't change from it's initial time it runs even when it has changed in the db. I know my mysql is working because it returs the right value on the initial load. It seems like a caching issue.     Say I have 2 divs with the same CSS class that are stacked on top of each other: div { width:100px; height: 100px; background: red; } How do I make it so that when I click a button at the top of the page, a new div is created from off the screen at the bottom and moves upwards stopping where the 2nd div is.. When the button is clicked again, a 4th div moves in from the bottom of the screen and stops where the 3rd div is... etc creating a "stacked" divs effect? I know about position:fixed and adjusting values for top, but I am not sure how to dynamically calculate where to stop the animation to achieve this effect.

I think chrome v34 works fine. but once my chrome autoupdated to v35, it went back to 'download' file name.
