    Hi all, I have a Windows Forms application (C#) containing a ListBox into which I have added some items (I'm not using a DataSource). I want to filter the items in the ListBox to show only items containing a string I'm searching for. I have done this by keeping a list of the original items and selecting matching items from that list each time the search string changes and updating the ListBox.Items Is there a more elegant/efficient way to do this?

    I have a parent table and a child table related to the parent table by some REFERENCE. Suppose I exec a SELECT statement on the child and that it returns the at least one result. Can I arrange for my search to automatically yield all the content of all related parents with this child too? Or must I always take the reference from the child and put this in a second SELECT statement and exec this myself?

  • Will releasing an iPhone app makes it available for iPad by default?

    In my XCode's Targets summary screen, the "Devices" drop down is set to "iPhone" (other possible values are iPad and Universal) because I haven't fine tuned the app's UI for iPad. However, will people be able to download and run my app from the iPad in non-fullscreen? (e.g., with black border surrounding most of the screen) I want people to be able to search for it in app store, install it, and run it even though it is not full screen. Thanks a lot

    I created an application using seam-gen. The created operation to search the DB ends with and exception (syntax error). The query has a where clause like this: lower(barcode0_.barcode_ean) like lower((?||'%')) limit ? Does hibnerate or seam create the where clause which my DB can't understand? Or is there a workaround for SQL statement related issues in seam?

    I have this structure for the table course: Search page - Result Page - Edit Page - Show page When i go from result page to a specific course edit page, i edit it, and end up on the show page, but when i hit back, i get a loop from show to edit, and back to show and so on.     I'm writing a plain text document with numbered sections or chapters and am wondering if emacs can help with numbering and re-numbering sections. And of course would be great if it could then generate a table of contents as well. I have had a search on google and looked through the emacs wiki but did not come up with anything other than for latex stuff and possibly muse mode, but I would like to keep this as a plain text README style document. Thanks for any help or suggestions.
