• Apache Custom Log Format to track complete file downloads

  Hello, I am trying to write a reward system wherein users will be given reward points if they download complete files, So what should be my log format. After searching alot this is what I understand its my first time and havent done custom logs before. First of all which file should I edit for custom logs because this thing I cant find. I am using ubuntu server with default apache, php5 and mysql installation # I use this commands and they work fine nano /etc/apache2/apache2.conf /etc/init.d/apache2 restart I think this is what I need to do for my purpose LogLevel notice LogFormat "%f %u %x %o" rewards CustomLog /var/www/logs/rewards_log rewards This is as it is command or there is something missing? and is there any particular location where I need to add this? and one more thing %o is for filesize that was sent and is it possible to log only files from a particular directory? or for files with size more than 10mb. • Calling methods within same Javwscript class [Prototype]

  I've created a class in Javscript using the prototype Class.Create complete with the initialize function and a few other functions. However, in one of my functions I want to reference another function in the same class, but cannot seem to get the syntax correct. e.g. var sampleClass = Class.create({ initialize: function(){ //do the init work here }, functionA: function(){ //do some more stuff here } functionB: function(){ //Do some stuff functionA() } } I've tried calling functionA() , this.functionA() but nothing works I just get errors. I know how to call the functions externally when the class has been instantiated, but not reference a function from within the class itself. Thanks

  I´m having some trouble retrieving a collection of strings in a projection: say that I have the following classes public class WorkSet { public Guid Id { get; set; } public string Title { get; set; } public ISet<string> PartTitles { get; protected set; } } public class Work { public Guid Id { get; set; } public WorkSet WorkSet { get; set; } //a bunch of other properties } I then have a list of Work ids I want to retrieve WorkSet.Title, WorkSet.PartTitles and Id for.   Hi, I am trying to create an array with different href's to then attach to 5 separate elements. This is my code: var link = new Array('link1', 'link2', 'link3', 'link4', 'link5'); $(document.createElement("li")) .attr('class',options.numericId + (i+1)) .html('<a rel='+ i +' href=\"page.php# + 'link'\">'+ '</a>') .appendTo($("."+ options.numericId)) As you can see I am trying to append these items from the array to the end of my page so each link will take the user to a different section of the page. But i have not been able to do this. Is there a way to to create elements with different links? I am new to javascript so I am sorry if this doesn't make a whole lot of sense. If anyone is confused by what i am asking here I can try to clarify if I get some feedback. Any solutions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, jason

However when i run my code i get the following exception: StrongTypingException The value for column 'CANTITATE' in table 'XLSFacturi' is DBNull. How am I supposed to resolve this ?

• Malloc to a CGPoint Pointer throwing EXC_BAD_ACCESS when accessing

  I am trying to use a snippet of code from a Apple programming guide, and I am getting a EXC_BAD_ACCESS when trying to pass a pointer to a function, right after doing a malloc. (For Reference: iPhone Application Programming Guide: Event Handling - Listing 3-6) The code in question is really simple: CFMutableDictionaryRef touchBeginPoints; UITouch *touch; .... CGPoint *point = (CGPoint *)CFDictionaryGetValue(touchBeginPoints, touch); if (point == NULL) { point = (CGPoint *)malloc(sizeof(CGPoint)); CFDictionarySetValue(touchBeginPoints, touch, point); } Now when the program goes into the if statement it assigns the 'output' of malloc into the point variable/pointer. Then when it tries to pass point into the CFDictionarySetValue function it crashes the application with: Program received signal: “EXC_BAD_ACCESS”. Someone suggested not doing the malloc and pass the point var/pointer as: &point, however that still gave me a EXC_BAD_ACCESS. What I am (and it looks like Apple) doing wrong??? Thanks in advance.

• Monotouch UITableView image "flashing" while background requests are fetched

  I am in need of some help from you guys. I have a Monotouch UITableView which contains some web images. I have implemented a Task to fetch them asynchronously so the UI is responsive, an even added some animations to fade them in when they are fetched from the web. My problems start when the user scrolls down very fast down the UITableView, so since the cells are resusable, several background tasks are queued for images. When he is at the bottom of the list, he might see the thumbnail displaying an image for another cell, then another, then another, then another, as the tasks are completed and each image replaces the other one. I am in need of some sort of checking whether the currently displayed cell corresponds to the correct image url, but not sure how to do that. • iFrame src something other than javascript:false but same effect

  Is there any other way to write javascript:false that is more pleasant? I'm building a print functionality for an intranet app (for IE6) and I make the printed page using an iframe: $('body').append('<iframe id="printIFrame" src="javascript:false"></iframe>'); $("#printIFrame").attr('style','position:absolute;left:-500px;top:-500px;'); Without having javascript:false in the src, I'll get the "This page contains both secure and nonsecure items" popup when I create it. However the downside of this is that "javascript:false" gets printed as the title on the bottom left of each page (instead of about:blank or something more useful). Is there some kind of javascript technique that I can write javascript:false but in cleaner terms? I tried something like this var PrintOut = false; $('body').append('<iframe id="printIFrame" src="PrintOut"></iframe>'); But I couldn't get that working. Any other ideas?

From reading several resources I learned that you should create your own IPrinciple which holds this. But I don't want to trigger the database every authentication request. Any recommendations on how to handle this? • JQuery never reaches success or fail on aspx returning json.

When I look at the response text in teh DoSubmitComple function it is {"Success": "true" } Every JSON tester I have tried says that this is valied JSON. What am I doing wrong here?

  Currently i am using reflection with sql. I find if i want to make a specialize query it is easiest to get the results by creating a new class inheriting from another and adding the 2 members/columns for my specialized query. Then due to reflections in the lib in my c# code i can write foreach(var v in list) { v.AnyMember and v.MyExtraMember) Now instead of having the class scattered around or modifying my main DB.cs file can i define a class inside a function? I know i can create an anonymous object by writing new {name=val, name2=...}; but i need a to pass this class in a generic function func(query, args);

• Embedding Youtube Videos on user's wall with the Javascript API

  I'm attempting to embed a Youtube video on a user's wall using the Javascript API. I've poured over a bunch of different tutorials and came up with this: var data = { method: 'feed', link: current_video_url, // Link to the vide on our site source: current_video_src, // Link to the Youtube video, http://youtube.com/v/[hash] picture: current_picture_url, // Thumbnail from youtube title: current_video_title, // Title from our page caption: current_video_description // Text from our page } FB.ui(data); Running the Facebook Debugger shows that the current_video_url link is being properly parsed for OG tags and is available as an embedded video. I ran a debugger and all the variables are being properly set in the data variable. This worked fine for about 2 days, and then we pushed the site live. We set up a new AppID in Facebook but now all the videos are just thumbnails instead of being embedded in the user's wall. I thought maybe this is a problem with the live site but now the dev site is broken too. What's the best way to get this to work consistently?

  I want to create a binary executable for a relatively simple script that would not require people to install macruby or HotCocoa. The script is here.
