  • array_key_exists is not working

    array_key_exists is not working for large multidimensional array. For ex $arr=array( '1'=>10, '2'=>array('21'=>21, '22'=>22, '23'=>array('test'=>100, '231'=>231), ), '3'=>30, '4'=>40 ); array_key_exists('test',$arr) returns 'false' but it works with some simple arrays.

  • Dynamic jQuery dialog after data append w/o reloading page. Possible?

    Howdy, So I have a page with an enormous table in a CRUD interface of sorts. Each link within a span calls a jQuery UI Dialog Form which fetches it's content from another page. When the action taking place (in this case, a creation) has completed, it appends the resulting new data to the table and forces a resort of the table. This all happens within the JS and the DOM. The problem with this, is that the new table row's CRUD links don't actually trigger the dialog form creation as all the original links in spans are only scanned on document.ready and since I'm not reloading the page, the new links cannot be seen.   • Duel Masters game in Java

    I was trying to make a Duel Masters card game in Java using BlueJ, and came up with a lot of ideas. However, I could not exactly figure out how to sort a deck on basis of the card names in the game. I have an array of Card objects(each has, as its instance variables: String name, int cost, int civ), and I want to sort them based on name. ie: if I have the cards "Pyrofighter Magnus", "Bazagazeal Dragon" and another "Pyrofighter Magnus" in the array, the cards should be sorted on basis of their names. I know that I could use compareTo(), but is there an easier method? Anyone? Remember, the method that sorts the cards should be a modifier.

    I am working in an android application and I want to call an AsyncTask from my UI main thread. For that I want to call my AsyncTask from a thread. This is the method that I call from my main UI thread. This is working correctly CommonAysnk mobjCommonAysnk = new CommonAysnk(this, 1); mobjCommonAysnk.execute(); CommonAysnk is my AsyncTask class.I want to pass my activity and an integer parameter to the AsyncTask constructor. How can I call this from a thread as shown below method. Thread t = new Thread() { public void run() { try { CommonAysnk mobjCommonAysnk = new CommonAysnk(this, 1); mobjCommonAysnk.execute(); } catch (Exception ex) { }}}; t.start(); When I tried to call it from a Thread and I am not able to pass the activity parameter correctly.     I have a PS file to be read in reverse order and process accordingly. Do we have a way to mention to read the file in reverse order in FD in COBOL module? OR do we have something to achieve the same using SORT? Note: Reading the records into a buffer (array) and using it in reverse order would be the first idea that comes to mind but that way doesnt work for file with millions of records. Your suggestions will be appreciated.

Some client code may get a reference of type A, others one of type B, etc. each actually the same Foo object but the interface exposing only a narrow subset of the functionality. Of course, evil client code can try to cast the A reference to Foo, then access the other functionality.How to prevent this?

    Hi, I have been using the ASP.NET chart controls for a while on win2k3 (32bit) setups without any issue but have noticed that on our new win2k8 (64bit) box I am getting a warning message showing up in the event viewer from the chart control.   • Unknown Exception on trying to initialize the web service stub created by Axis C++

    Hi, I am trying out the sample calculator program given in the folder of axis c++. I am mainly interested in the client side. So I used the wsdl to create the stubs and my main is pretty much the same as given in the sample. However on executing the call Calculator ws (endpoint) I get an unknown exception "First-chance exception at 0x7c0024b9 in CalculatorClient.exe: 0xC0000005: Access violation reading location 0x00000000. First-chance exception at 0x7c812afb in CalculatorClient.exe: Microsoft C++ exception: [rethrow] at memory location 0x00000000.. Unhandled exception at 0x7c0024b9 in CalculatorClient.exe: 0xC0000005: Access violation reading location 0x00000000." and the exception causing code is Calculator::Calculator(const char* pchEndpointUri, AXIS_PROTOCOL_TYPE eProtocol) :Stub(pchEndpointUri, eProtocol) { } I had earlier tried to run a a webservice using Axis C++ but had received the same error. At that time my web service was a java ws on WAS. Then I later tried the calculator client (but this time I did not have any server hosting the ws as I just wanted to check if the Client could initialize). Is the problem caused due to the web service not being hosted on Apache in C++ (though I highly doubt it). Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Harsha

    I need to validate the LDAP user by checking if there exists such a user name in the specified domain. For this I am using this code - DirectoryEntry entry = new DirectoryEntry("LDAP://" + strDomainController); DirectorySearcher searcher = new DirectorySearcher(entry); searcher.Filter = "SAMAccountName=" + strUserName; SearchResult result = searcher.FindOne(); return (result != null) ? true : false; This is a method in a class library which I intened to reference and use whereever I need this functionality in my project. To test this, I created a simple test application. The test occurs like this - Console.WriteLine(MyClassLib.MyValidateUserMethod("UserName", "Domain",ref strError).ToString()); The problem I am facing is that this works fine when I test it with my testapp but in my project, when I try to use the same method with the same credentials - The DirectoryEntry object throws an "System.DirectoryServices.DirectoryServicesCOMException" exception and the search.Filter fails and throws ex = {"Logon failure: unknown user name or bad password.\r\n"} exception. I have tried impersonation but that doesn't help. Somehow the same method works fine in mytestapp and doesn't work in my project. Both these applications are in my local dev machine. What am I missing? Any ideas?

  • Can Hibernate automatically uppercase a column on read/insert via configuration?

    We have some columns with data that must always be in uppercase to ensure uniqueness. I was wondering if hibernate can force all such columns to uppercase via some configuration file change? We actually use a custom UserType for encrypting/decrypting column data for some other table, but I figured that would be overkill just to uppercase everything... Alternatively, I was thinking about modifying the models such that all getters/setters will uppercase any string coming and going. The worst(?) case scenario is to modify the Oracle column constraint to ignore case while checking uniqueness. Any thoughts?
