  • wildcard ssl certificate - exchange 2010 - POP/IMAP problem

    previously we have requested a wildcard ssl certificate from godaddy for our major domain. one of the reasons was the new established exchange server 2010. usually you require following names included in certificiate: FQDN (e.g. mail.whatever.com) Hostname (mail) Domain name (whatever.com) Autodiscover.whatever.com MX Record with the wildcard certificate these are all covered (except of the local hostname). During creation/importing of the ssl certificate into exchange 2010, exchange first asks, if a wildcard certificate is used and then encounters an error - due to the certificate is a wildcard certificate and not a certificate especially generated for the FQDN, SSL for POP and IMAP can not be provided. couldn't find any workaround or solution for this on google, so I hope, maybe some one here has an answer or solution for me! :) the exchange 2010 is running on a windows server 2008 R2 enterprise. thanks in advance and best regards, sise

  • Vim snippets pop-up but don't complete

    I'm using spf13-vim in Fedora. When I try to use a snippet, I get options that pop up but when I don't know how to actually insert the snippet. For example, if I type for in a .cpp file, I get four options. I'm assuming I'm supposed to either hit tab or enter to insert them but neither works. I'm not even sure which vim plugin it is that the snippets come from (snipmate? neocomplcache?).Screenshot. The same problem happens in vim and gvim.

  • Macro To Choose "Don't Save" on pop-up window (Mac OS X)

    I was wondering if there is a keyboard shortcut to choose "Don't Save" when an alert comes up. I'm talking specifically about Photoshop but the same action happens in many applications. It's the standard pop up that shows when you are canceling out of a window and haven't saved the document or project. To be clear it says "Don't Save", "Cancel" and "Save". Save is generally the default but I was just curious if there's a way to choose "Don't Save" without clicking. I know this may be a pretty simple question but I was curious about it and it's surprisingly hard to Google... Thanks!

If not, pop the current directory and look at the parent. Go to 1. The script would end once we find the file or we reach the root.     Why do we have commands like push and pop? From what I understand pop and push are basically the same as doing a (mov then add) and (sub then mov) on esp respectively.     When I google for certain questions, or problems I run into I would sometimes run into 'archive' sites - these sites contain forum questions or information from other sites that are extremely poorly formatted, and are copies of the well formatted original posts from various forums. An example of one of those sites in mail-archive.com and various similar sites. Can anybody explain to me why those sites exist and how come they don't get banned from Google (since all they have is copied content that is really poorly formatted by bots)? Thanks!

    When using some existing forum software in a larger web-site, how easy is it to: 1)Make your site's login functionality log the user into the forum 2)Make your site's registration functionality create forum login data I suppose in a way it might be easier to ONLY use the forum's database for maintaining users, but that means trusting it with sensitive data. I'm planning an integration between an existing bespoke desktop app and a new bespoke web-site which should include forums. I don't know which forums will be used but I know the new web functionality won't be PHP-based. I figure that's not a big deal but I'm wondering if forums typically allow configuration of where they look for login data, to avoid duplicating this data into my DB and the forum DB.

    I've followed this guide on setting up a mail server on my dedicated server. I've been able to send mails from the php application I'm using and the linux commandline (using telnet, php, etc). The problem is that I cannot connect to the server via IMAP/POP which I've setup using Courier. I've tried using thunderbird but it complains that the username or password is wrong. I doubt it is the username/password but I don't know how to trouble shoot this.     Thunderbird does not delete messages from the POP server. I am a Yahoo Plus user and I can download messages from the inbox in Thunderbird from the Yahoo POP3 server. However, I want to delete read messages directly on the email client rather than go to Yahoo mail. OK, boys and girls, here is the way to do it. Go to Options- Advanced - Config Editor find the Name 'mail . pop3 . deleteFromServerOnMove' Set it to True True: Delete the copy of the message on the POP3 server if you move or delete the message. False(default): Only delete the copy of the message on the POP3 server if you delete the message. That's it, restart Thunderbird. You need to press 'Get Mail' everytime you want to sync with the email server, in order for you to make sure messages in the application is in sync with the email server.**

    I feel incredibly stupid for even asking this since the answer might already be under my nose but here it goes: TweetMeme has a Re-tweet twitter widget that publishers can place on their blogs. When a user clicks on the widget, it pops open a window which allows the user to authenticate themselves with twitter and then re-tweet. This seems to use some special Twitter oauth popup form factor - unless there is something fancier happening under the surface to authenticate the user. The pop-up window looks like this: http://twitpic.com/1kepcr I'd rather handle an authentication via a pop-up rather than send the user to a brand new page (for the app I'm working on) and they seem to have the most graceful solution. Thoughts on how they did this?
