  • Locked visible cells Excel problem

    I have a problem with an Excel Template in Excel 2007. I need to remove a row from a summary report but the developer who created this report has somehow managed to set it so that only certain number of rows & columns are visible (in case you are interested it is A1:G30) - no headers, no grid, just blue nothingness. Deleting the offending line just peels back the white-ness. I want to change the resolution of the visible grid to A1:G29. I would ask on google but I haven't the foggiest what the tool would be called to do this (if I did I probably wouldn't be asking). Giving generic terms gives very generic results. I've been through every ribbon and came up blank. Help me out my misery - please!

  • Determine if a subview is visible in a UIScrollView

    Hi all, I've added a view to my app, that contains a UIScrollView, with a number of UITextViews in it's content view. This works perfectly on OS 3.0 and up, but when I test it on my 2.2.1 iPod touch, there is a UITextView bug that stops any text views automatically updating their content when they are scrolled into view - so you have to send them the setNeedsDisplay message. However, I only want to do this when they start to become visible during the scroll - how do I determine, in the UIScrollView's scrollViewDidScroll delegate method, whether a UITextView is visible in the UIScrollView's frame?   • Trying to change img src if another element is visible with jQuery

    I have a div ("panel" class) on my page that toggles open/closed on the click of a paragraph element ("flip" class), which has an image inside of it. Here's the HTML: <div class="panel">Contact info</div> <p class="flip"><img src="images/contactExpand.png" />Expand</p> And the jQuery: $(".flip").click(function(){ $(".panel").slideToggle("slow"); }); Everything works fine so far, but I want the image src to change to "contactCollapse.png" when the panel div is visible. This doesn't seem to do anything (image just stays the same): if ($(".panel").is(":visible") == true) { $(".flip img").attr("src","../images/contactCollapse.png") } else { $(".flip img").attr("src","../images/contactExpand.png") } Am I missing something?     I have a content type with important "created" date field. And I have a menu link (in primary links) which is link to page that shows list of all nodes of my content type. (http://example.com/mycontenttype) I want to have menu links (visible in primary links) to each year when nodes of my content type are displayed (http://example.com/mycontenttype/2010). And I want to add these menu links from mymodule_nodeapi function, when the node is creating and only if it has a "created" date of new year. I know that I can create a pathes in mymodule_menu function, but it doesn't create a visible menu item. (Maybe I can somehow set parent_link_id or something else to do it?)

  • Function Triggered before fadeOut(); is finished

    Hi I'm new to javascript/jQuery this really has me stumped. What I'm trying to achieve here is On toggling a#sameDayTab jquery will look for .changeAlert and fadeOut it's container div, when toggled again the div will fade in (this works well.) Each toggle will also call a function that tells me how many .changeAlert's are present on the page and updates the number appropriately in a span. The problem is when I first click the toggled anchor the number of visible should be 0 as the .changeAlert has been hidden by fadeOut instead it returns the number of classes present on page load this value never changes no matter how many times the toggle is activated.   • Ntop monitoring - Hosts visible with no SPAN/mirroring

    I am attempting to use ntop to monitor traffic over a Cisco Catalyst switch. I was assuming that in order to see any of the traffic, I'd have to use monitor, as described here: http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/hw/switches/ps708/products_tech_note09186a008015c612.shtml. Howver, before I did anything on the switch, I simply plugged my ntop server in and fired up ntop. To my suprise, I instantly see 3+ pages of hosts, and thousands of packets. How is ntop seeing this? I have verified that no monitoring exists on the switch (run as en): cs1.pvdc#show monitor No SPAN configuration is present in the system. My ntop server is Ubuntu 8.04, I haven't done ANY configuration, I just installed the ntop package. This is also a fresh Ubuntu install. Is there anything else on my switch besides "monitor" that might cause my switch to mirror all its traffic like this? I've tried plugging ntop into different ports with the same results. UPDATE: It appears to be more then just broadcast traffic showing up in ntop, for example, I can see when my IPs have talked to the DNS server or generated HTTP traffic. If my switch is misconfigured, can anyone point me in the right direction towards rectify this? Not a Cisco expert.

For example: Larry: [describes problem] Moe: [enhances problem] Curly: We should ask Shemp [Shemp joins] Shemp: What's going on in this thread? Is there any way for Shemp to see what Larry and Moe have already typed? I have tried copy-pasting the whole thing, but that invokes an error with no error message - possibly "too much text." Update: Is this functionality what Microsoft calls Group Chat, and requires a separate product?

    Situation: Windows Vista, latest updates. After restarting to complete an installation, I find myself looking at a totally black windows desktop without any icons. The start menu and taskbar, including quickstart icons, appears. Some, but not all task bar tray icons appear. The systems seems stable. When I open Windows Explorer and click "desktop" in the folder treeview, the cursor immediately jumps back to the previously selected item. No error. Same when clicking on my user's profile or my documents. When I try "save as" in, say, Notepad, nothing happens, the dialog box (which defaults to "my documents") doesn't even show. Again, no error. Nothing serious afaict in the event log. Typing something in Start Search shows "Search failed to initialize". Most programs, including Internet Explorer, Firefox etc work as expected. Anybody ever encountered such abomination?

  • Format (remove) HDD volume that is visible in Windows 7 Disk Management but not diskpart.exe

    I'm trying to get iRST working on a SSD I installed in my lenovo u410. As part of that process, I created a hibernation partition and was fiddling around with RAID/AHCI settings. I managed to make my computer unbootable. No sweat, I just restored it with Lenovo's 1 key system. Now, however, I can't do anything with that hybernation partition! I can see it: (It's the 7.81 GB partition). But when I try to delete it in Diskpart.exe to reclaim the space and try the formatting again I only see this: I can't do anything with the partition in Disk Management either. Right clicking only shows the 'help' option. Can anyone suggest a way to edit these partitions with windows or, at least, reccomend a program that might help me fix this? Note, I'd rather not delete the 16 GB OEM partition that I believe holds the backup for this computer.

  • Mac OSX application running but window is not visible

    greatful for any assistance as this is driving me nuts.. I'm running an application on my macbook pro, and since yesterday I can't see the application's main window. It's icon is showing in the doc and it's options are showing in the top menu bar on the desktop. The program is running normally in all other respects as far as I can tell (its an audio sampler which I am triggering via an external pedal, so I can tell its working). The window did show up once in Expose but now it is not showing up there either (no idea why). I've tried adding the application to every space in 'Spaces' and also removing the preferences file but neither of those helped. I have also reinstalled the application. I really need this back for a music project so any help would be massively appreciated, cheers!

  • Make favorites always visible in Windows Explorer

    Vista introduced the favorites in the navigation pane of Windows Explorer. In Windows 7 I immediately noticed that the favorites don't have a separate pane at the top anymore. See this image for a comparison. So to access the favorites (which I do a lot, I love that feature!) I always have to scroll to the top first which is quite annoying. Is there any way to restore the old behavior? I can't believe that they went a step backwards here.

  • Apache server in raspberry PI not visible from outside( public IP)

    I have made a fresh install of Arch Linux ARM into a Raspberry PI and I mounted there a LAMP, all fresh. I have another Arch(x86) in my laptop with Apache also there, and as far as I know, two web servers cannot run in the same network segment so, the problem is as follows. I my laptop, having Apache running, if I enter via the public ip of my network everything turns ok and I can see my website but, (obviously turning this server down) if I enter from the public IP with the Apache running in the raspberry pi( yes, only that Apache running) i cannot see my website in there. Also, if I access via local network it is a normal success, I can see my website. So, I can enter my raspberry website only via local but in my other web server i can enter it via local and public. I have the same conf files in both of them so what is the difference? I was planning in making the rpi as a development server. Thanks in advance

  • IEEE 1394 Firewire Card is not visible in Device Manager in WIndows 7

    I have a IEEE 1394 card that I have placed in one of the PCI slots of my Windows 7 PC. I have moved to Windows just last week and Windows is not detecting this card. It is not listed in the Devide Manager. Earlier when I used Fedora 12, I was able to use this interface for capturing videos from my DV Camera. The manufacturer is Tech-Com, which has not provided a driver CD for this. What can I possibly try?

  • Public folder not visible from front end Exchange 2003 Server

    I have a public folder that does not receive emails when the emails are sent via the Front-End Exchange Servers. When I go into the System Manager on the Front-End I don't see this particular public folder listed under the Public Folders. However, I do see it listed from the Front-End server. I see the emails that are not making it to the public folder listed in the local delivery queue on the front end server and they are in a retry state. Does anyone know how I might troubleshoot this?

  • Host not visible in ECC after pushing master agent on server

    Hi all!! ECC master Agent has been pushed to one of the servers.. Once a Master Agent installed the host should appear within ECC.However, I am unable to see the host. I asked the Server team to stop and start the master agent ,and to check whether required port is enabled, so that server can talk with ECC server. After restarting the service I get an error.I even checked if the port is used by any other service ,it is not.. Somebody plz help what should done here..it’s a Windows server. Here's the error:- "The EMC control Center Master agent service on local computer atrted and the stopped.Some services stopped automatically if they 've no work to do,for example prformance logs and alert services" Thanks in advance!!

  • Sun Grid Engine (SGE) Jobs Not Visible After Adding virtual_free

    I'm trying to to use virtual_free to limit the number of large memory jobs running each grid node in my cluster. This seems to be working as expected. After I modified my code to submit jobs with the memory instances, qstat -f -q $queueName no longer shows a list of jobs waiting for a slot. The jobs are submitted with a specific queue (-q $queueName). I'm guessing this is happening due to the magic of SGE queue selection. Is there a way to make my jobs show up as before? Thanks! UPDATE I'm using: qstat -f -u * -q $queueName to view the queue. If I drop the queue argument, I can see the jobs. If I examine a specific job, I can see that it has the correct hard_queue_list value set. I'm also using Sun Grid Engine 6.1u4

  • Ubuntu 9.04 Cannot Connect to visible open wifi ap (reason 6)

    I'm travelling currently so the last network i connected successfully to was my home wpa-psk network. I hadn't tried anything until i got to my accommodation that is an open network (that I'm on now on the Win7 partition on my laptop). The network (and a similar archetypical 'linksys' open network, aswell as some protected local networks are correctly displayed in network-manager and upon selection, it happily spins around to its hearts content for a while before saying 'no chance boy'. /var/log/syslog spills out the usual combination of wpa_supplicant and kernel messages, the most interesting of are that the kernel deauthentication reason 6 response. 6 apparently means class2FrameFromNonAuthStation...Client attempted to transfer data before it was authenticated. Anyone seen anything like this? I've already tried going closer to the router to no avail. I don't remember seeing this any other time I've connected to a open AP, even if that AP is far away. (Signal strength for this AP is good, kismet says its around -57dBm, well above the threshold of -80dBm, and I've tried all the suggestions from the 'Related Questions'

  • Sonicwall NSA 3500, public ip for SSL VPN clients is not visible

    I have a Sonciwall NSA 3500 and I'm setting up the SSL VPN according to this guide. I get through setting up the Sonicwall router, but then to test it says "Users can now go to the public IP of the sonicwall. Notice the new “click here for SSL login” hyper link". However, when I go to the public ip of the Sonicwall I don't get a web page, it just times out. Is there some other setting that I'm missing in order to make the SSL VPN login page public?
