  • Joomla External HTML and Access Levels

    I am trying to use Joomla to create a website that allows users to do the following: submit links to external html search through the external websites based on category, rankings, etc. display the websites in multiple iframes simultaneously ( like google gadgets) limit access to certain external websites by user customize users homepage (like igoogle) I am trying to pull the right joomla plugin and component pieces together.   • How to Setup Ubuntu Mail Server with Google Apps?

    I have a domain, let's call it foobar.com. All of the MX records for foobar.com point to Google's mail servers because I am using Google Apps for your domain to manage it. It's great because everyone gets all the advantages of GMail, but our e-mail addresses aren't @gmail.com. I also have a server. Primarily, it's a web server, but it also serves other things. One of the things it serves is the web site for foobar.com and also sites for various virtual hosts such as shop.foobar.com and forum.foobar.com. The server is running Ubuntu 8.04, because I like using LTS releases in production. The thing is, there are various applications running on the server that need the ability to send out emails. Various applications, like the cron jobs, send me e-mails in case of errors. Some of the web applications need to send e-mail to users when they forget their passwords, to confirm new registered users, etc. Lastly, it's nice to be able to send e-mail from the command line using the mail command, or mutt. How can I setup the mail on the web server to go through the Google apps mail servers? I don't need the web server to receive mail, though that would be cool. I do need it to be able to send mail as any legitimate address @foobar.com. That way the forum application can send mails with [email protected] in the from field, and the ecommerce application will have [email protected] in the from field. Also, by sending the mail through the Google servers, we can avoid a lot of the problems with the e-mails being blocked by various spam filters on the web. Google's SMTP servers are trusted a lot more than mine would be. I'm pretty good with administering Linux systems, but I am absolutely brain dead when it comes to e-mail. I need step by step directions from beginning to end on how to set this up. I need to know every thing to install, and every single change to the configuration files that is necessary. I have tried following various howtos and guides in the past, but none of them were quite right. Either they didn't work at all, or they offered a configuration that is not what I wanted. Through google this error i found articles related to SSL, but how can i setup postfix without SSL and send mails to external domain like gmail or yahoomail.

    Is it possible to edit contents of e-mail messages (including headers) in any mailbox stored on Exchange Server (Exchange Server 2010 SP3 UR2 - 14.3.158.1)? Or, alternatively, edit the email messages in the OST file (of MS Outlook), so that they then can be synchronized with the Exchange server? PS.   • How can I read password protected Word files on OS X ?

    I receive Word documents by mail and read them using the built-in Gmail reader. Sometimes the documents are password protected and I need to obtain access to a Windows machine with Office installed in order to read them. Is there a quicker / less hassle requiring method ? I don't want to have to install Vmware / Parallels nor Office on my fresh and sterile macbook.

  • Why does Chromium run so slow in portable mode?

    I am using Chromium on a flash drive through LiberKey and it does everything I want it to do as far as syncing my Chrome bookmarks from home, etc. But it's soooooo slow. If I open more than 1 tab, or if a tab is heavy with code such as Gmail or GMaps, then the entire program hangs for about 5-10 seconds. I don't exactly know how portable apps work when run from a flash drive, so is there a way to speed up load times?

  • Lazarus Form Recovery for Safari?

    I use Lazarus a lot on Chrome and FireFox. Well, not a lot, but it's great for crashing when you're writing something online in a form that doesn't automatically save what you're writing. Plus, this should be default in every browser ANYway, and not built-in any web site (such as gmail). So, is there any such option for Safari? Does Saft do that? Just by looking at the home page, it seems to me like bloatware to Safari 4.

Everything is doing great but there is a problem with email web clients the most popular ones(gmail, yahoo, hotmail) are not optimized for screen readers. Is there some kind of simple email client optimized for this? Need to be very simple and straight foward and support multiple users too.

    I've applied the "brushed" theme (https://tools.google.com/chrome/intl/en/themes/theme%5Fbrushed.html) to my main google chrome browser windows without any problem. However none of the "application mode" shortcuts I created pick up this theme. For example, running chrome as follows does not pick up the "brushed" theme: chrome.exe --app=gmail.com I want to be able to apply themes to google chrome in application mode.

  • Outlook 2003: How to display my own messages in conversation view?

    When I select View-Arrange By-Conversation in Outlook 2003, the messages I sent myself are not shown in the message threads (unlike the conversation view in say, Gmail). To show my own messages I have to go to the Sent Items folder, if not someone has replied to one of my messages and included my original text. I used following code: var $f = $('*:first-child') $f.addClass('first'); var $l = $('body *:last-child') $l.addClass('last'); question Now, my question is if it's possible to do the same via php, so non-JS users/gadgets could have the same effects and additional styling and also it would be less overkill on browser. So, is it possible to capture output, parse it as html and inject this class easily in php?
