  Using MS SQL 2008 Reporting services: I'm trying to write a report that displays some correlated data so I thought to use a @table variable like so DECLARE @Results TABLE (Number int, Name nvarchar(250), Total1 money, Total2 money) insert into @Results(Number, Name, Total1) select number, name, sum(total) from table1 group by number, name update @Results set total2 = total from (select number, sum(total) from table2) s where s.number = number select from @results However, Report Builder keeps asking to enter a value for the variable @Results.   I want to verify if I'm in the last cell of the UITable. Should I use a NSInteger property in my controller and store the value of the count of the data (it's an NSMutableArray) that populates the table? I'm asking because I don't know if count iterates over all objects of the array to count or if it only gets me a value of a count property. What would be better ? store the value: myCount = [myArray count] use directly: [myArray count] store numberOfRows: myCount = numberOfRowsInSection:[indexPath 0] use numberOfRows directly: numberOfRowsInSection:[indexPath 0]

• mySQL - One large query vs Ajax indivdual queries

  Hi guys, I guess no one will have a definative answer to this but considered predictions would be appriciated. I am in the process of developing a mySQL database for a web application and my question is: Is it more efficient to make a single query that returns a single row using AJAX or To request 100 - 700 rows when the user will likely only ever use the results of two or three? Really I am asking what is heavier for the server 2-3 requests with one result or 1 request with 100 - 700 results? Thanks, Mark
