  So I am not sure if I am asking this correctly; let me explain: IS there a way I can run my MDE without the access shell around the forms/reports? The part that provides the menu, and the little application title. I think it is the overall presentation layer form that all my access stuff sits on, but I am not sure.   I am asking my self many times before start writting a new app or data access library , should I use LinqToSql or classic ADO.net , I have used both and the development time I spend on building an app with Linq To sql is like the 1/3 compared to ADO.net. The only think I like using Linq to sql is that I dont have to design the domain objects Linq does that for me and saves me from spend my time on boring things :P But is Linq to sql suitable for large scale projects , is there an overhead that we can avoid when using ADO.net ?

Something like this: Process process = Runtime.getRuntime().exec("command"); I've done this before in linux, and I used the gksudo for commands that required root password.   Hi guys, I guess no one will have a definative answer to this but considered predictions would be appriciated. I am in the process of developing a mySQL database for a web application and my question is: Is it more efficient to make a single query that returns a single row using AJAX or To request 100 - 700 rows when the user will likely only ever use the results of two or three? Really I am asking what is heavier for the server 2-3 requests with one result or 1 request with 100 - 700 results? Thanks, Mark

  I want to verify if I'm in the last cell of the UITable. Should I use a NSInteger property in my controller and store the value of the count of the data (it's an NSMutableArray) that populates the table? I'm asking because I don't know if count iterates over all objects of the array to count or if it only gets me a value of a count property.
