  I searched for this after seeing it's the top rated item when profiling using Very Sleepy, and it seems everyone gets the answer "it's a system function, ignore it". But Sleepy's hint for the function says: Hint: KiFastSystemCallRet often means the thread was waiting for something else to finish. Possible causes might be disk I/O, waiting for an event, or maybe just calling Sleep(). Now, my app is absolutely thrashing the CPU and so it's a bit weird 33% of the time is spent waiting for something to happen. Do I really just ignore it? EDIT: apparently, 77% of the calls to this come from QueryOglResource (?) which is in module nvd3dnum. I think that might be nvidia Direct3D stuff, i.e rendering.

• ASP.NET ReportViewer Google Chrome CPU usage

  Hello, We have found an interesting issue between ASP.NET 3.5 and ReportViewer with Google Chrome. Our set of pages work fine until a ReportViewer control displays a report. Google Chrome then eats up 50% of the CPU doing nothing it seems. I've extracted the ReportViewer control to a blank Web Forms project to confirm its that control and not a rogue bit of my code. I'm using ReportViewer in local mode (RDLC file) so I presume its the 2005 version? Anyone seen this before and have a solution?   Hi Guys, I have a confusion about the timestamp of h264 RTP packet. I know the wall clock rate of video is 90KHz which I defined in the SIP SDP. The frame rate of my encoder is not exactly 30 FPS, it is variable. It varies from 15 FPS to 30 FPS on the fly. So, I cannot use any fixed timestamp. Could any one tell me the timestamp of the following encoded packet. After 0 milisecond encoded RTP timestamp = 0 (Let the starting timestamp 0) After 50 milisecond encoded RTP timestamp = ?   Hey, We have been using XMLRPC for android and it was working well until we got our hands dirty with Base64 encoding for byte[] (images) -- (we did base64_string.replace("/","$$") for transmission). We have tried undoing the changes and its looking an XMLRPC error. The first received character seems to map to the transmitted character (in some unkown way) and the second received character is always 0xff Here is what I observed: Tx char (in hex) Rx character (in hex), I left out the second byte (always ff) 31 9D 32 9B 33 99 61 3D 62 3B 63 39 64 37 65 35 41 7D 42 7B 43 79 I have check my clocks and them seem to be ok. The only diff between this non working version and the previous version is that i am now using a RS485 chip. I have traced the signal all the way up to the MCU and it looks fine (confirmed the bit value on the rx pin)
