Could someone be using the our website to access SMTP for spamming purpose? UPDATE: Server info: Centos OS with CPanel and WHM. However no one has access to either. • Calculate Quantity Available for POS - Inventory [closed]

    - by tunmise fasipe
From what I have read Quantity on Hand is the physical number of Items in stock http://www.businessdictionary.com/definition/quantity-on-hand.html Quantity Available is Quantity On Hand minus outbound items (e.g Ordered Quantity) http://community.intuit.com/posts/quantity-on-hand-vs-quantity-available-2 Does this still hold for POS? Can there be outbound items in POS system since items are picked up immediately? If not does that mean QtyOnHand = QtyAvailable for POS?

  • Can I use Google AdSense within a banner rotator?

    - by Derfder
I have 3 rotating banners on one 728x90 position on my website, so every time a page is loaded another banner is shown. One of these is AdSense. Is it legal, I mean is this strictly prohibited or not? Because, the code is basically stored in db table in my CMS module in Wordpress, so I guess it is OK. But I am asking to be sure. What is your personal experience? Does Google penalize sites with banner rotators?

<b>Cyber Cynic:</b> "One constant complaint about the Linux desktop is that it doesn't have enough games. That's actually not true. Linux has plenty of games. What these people usually mean is that it doesn't have their favorite Windows games. That's changing now. "

  • Is IronScheme complete enough or stable enough to be worth learning?

    - by World Engineer
IronScheme is mentioned on Wikipedia as a successor to a failed project called IronLisp, bringing Lisp to CLR and .NET, the way Clojure does for the JVM. Does anyone have experience with this language? It looks fairly complete (99%) but I'm not sure how to judge whether it's worth my time to fiddle with getting it set up or not. By stable or complete, I mean using it for actual projects rather than just fiddling with tools and Project Euler style problems.

  • Wordpress theme usage rights with GPLv2

    - by user3177012
I've been searching for a great looking wordpress theme to use on a small magazine website idea that I had and I've just found one that would be ideal, with lots of blank spaces specifically designed for adverts - But then when I came to download it there was a notice: License: GPLv2 or later. Type: Non-Commercial Does this mean that you can use the theme but not use the advert space? What are the limitations?

  • Are Intel and Motorola moving towards a MIPS/RISC model? [closed]

    - by Nick Rosencrantz
Is it true what I read that Intel and Motorola are moving from CISC to a programming model more like RISC/MIPS? Why? From the famous book "Computer Architecture" by Hennessay which usually is recommended around here: Recent implementations of the x86 architecture actually translate x86 instruction into simple operation that look like MIPS instuctions.... Page 335. What does this mean specifically? Can you show me an example?

  • How can I install Ubuntu on my Nexus 7 while being able to recover from an Nandroid backup?

    - by MagicFab
I use CyanogenMod and ClockWork Recovery on my Nexus 7. How can my existing full nandroid backup be used to restore my device after installing Ubuntu? The instructions assume "recovery" would mean re-flashing the vanilla image, at factory, data-wiped condition. It would be useful to provide a .zip that can be flashed via Clockwork (or other) recovery usin ROM Manager or booting into recovery and back to whatever Nandroid backup there is - much as any other ROM is provided/used.

I just finished the book "Tech Yourself Java in 24 Hours, 6th Edition" I have an understanding of the language (by understanding I mean, the basics and everything covered in the book) and I have been experimenting and building little things with my knowledge. I want to learn about Android and was wondering if I need to increase my knowledge in Java before moving on to Android or can I just go straight to Android?

  • Patterns and conventions to document changes while developing

    - by Talysson
Let's say I'm developing a second version of an API, and there's some changes in method names and so on from the previous version. What's a good way to document these changes ? I mean, is it better to document while changing (but, maybe, there will be more changes before the release, so I think it could be more work than necessary) or write down some topic and document after all the changes are done ?

  • Is the book dead – cheap books

    - by simonsabin
It was sad to hear today about computermanuals.co.uk closing down after a period of administration. Whilst I do love books, the access to technical information, of high quality on the internet and accessible on your PC does mean the printed technical book does look to be going the way of the dinosaur. The silver lining is that you can get some books really cheap in their closing down sale http://www.computermanuals.co.uk/scripts/search.asp?g=1837...(read more)
