  • Does EGit mandate installing JGit?

    - by Souper
After using Git from the command line for a while, I am ready for the convenience a GUI plugin (for Eclipse) can offer. However, I prefer a Git plugin similar to to MS Visual Studio's Git Source Control Provider which is only a wrapper around the already installed msysgit. I really don't want two different Git implementations accessing the same repository. EGit sounds perfect - if it can use the already installed msysgit in my PC. But can it?

  • Recommended lightweight jQuery lightbox plug-in?

    - by Mat Harden
I need a lightbox plugin that is styled similar to FancyBox but will allow me to add text to the same white background as the image. Lightweight because I don't want many features as it's going to be added to an already heavy JS page. Preferably without Ajax features as I'll be handling this myself. Therefore I'm ruling out the use of Thickbox, Fancybox and jQuery UI. Basically I want the plugin to be a currently supported light-box jQuery plug-in that handles all the cross browser styling issues which I can then customise.

  • jQuery galleria plugin with dynamically loaded images

    - by panas
    I'm using the Galleria plugin with jQuery to create my image gallery. I'm trying to get load images dynamically from the user's selection into the DOM and have the gallery auto-update to display those new images but it's not working. Firebug shows the images are successfully loading into the DOM but Galleria displays no thumbnails. I need a way to reload Galleria to display the new images. /* ---- Gallery Code ---- */ if ($(this).find('div').attr('title') == 'photogallery' && $('.galleria_container').length == 0) { $('.gallery').galleria( { history : false, clickNext : true, onImage : function(image,caption,thumb) { if(! ($.browser.mozilla && navigator.appVersion.indexOf("Win")!=-1) ) { image.css('display','none').fadeIn(1000); } var _li = thumb.parents('li'); caption.css('display','none').fadeIn(1000); _li.siblings().children('img.selected').fadeTo(500,0.3); thumb.fadeTo('fast',1).addClass('selected'); image.attr('title','Next image >>'); }, onThumb : function(thumb) { var _li = thumb.parents('li'); var _fadeTo = _li.is('.active') ? '1' : '0.3'; thumb.css({display:'none',opacity:_fadeTo}).fadeIn(1500); thumb.hover ( function() { thumb.fadeTo('fast',1); }, function() { _li.not('.active').children('img').fadeTo('fast',0.3); } // don't fade out if the parent is active ) } }); } /* ---- Gallery Selector ---- */ $(document).ready(function() { var galleryImages = new Object(); <?php echo $myGal; ?> function setImages(type) { var image = ''; for (var i = 0; i < galleryImages[type].length; i++) { image += '<li><img src="' + galleryImages[type][i] + '"></li>'; } $('ul.gallery').html(image); } $('ul.menu-horiz li ul li').click(function() { setImages($(this).attr('rel')); }); }); The PHP code you see just creates an array of images. So to summarise my question: How can I reload Galleria once the new images have been loaded into the DOM?

  • Spidermonkey pointing to a NSPR/DIST directory, HELP!

    - by giantKamote
Hey guys, I've been trying to cross-compile Spidermonkey and I am stuck with the problem wherein prtypes.h(NSPR) is unrecognizable. I alread triedy modifying Makefile.ref/config.mk/jsconfig.mk to point to a desired NSPR/DIS directory. I must have missed some basic steps because it still won't make things work. Do you have any ideas on how to properly modify the makefiles to point my spidermonkey to the right NSPR libraries? Thanks!

  • How do I get a bundle reference from inside of a plugin with carbon?

    - by Nik Reiman
I'm writing a C++ plugin in Mac OS X using the Carbon framework (yeah, yeah, I know, Apple is deprecating Carbon, but at the moment I can't migrate this code to Cocoa). My plugin gets loaded by a master application, and I need to get a CFBundleRef reference to my plugin so that I can access it's resources. The problem is, when I call CFBundleGetMainBundle() during my plugin's initialization routines, that returns a reference to the host's bundle reference, not the plugin's. How can I get a reference to my plugin's bundle instead? Note: I would rather not use anything determined at compile-time, including calling CFBundleGetBundleWithIdentifier() with a hard-coded string identifier.

  • highlight the text of the DOM range element,

    - by ganapati
I am able to highlight the text on the HTML page(rendered through gtkmozembed), which is selected, like below. var range, sel; if (window.getSelection) { sel = window.getSelection(); if (sel.getRangeAt) { range = sel.getRangeAt(0); } document.designMode = "on"; if (range) { sel.removeAllRanges(); sel.addRange(range); } document.execCommand("HiliteColor", false, colour); document.designMode = "off"; } Well,it works very fine. Now i am trying to store the information(startNode, startOffset, endNode, endOffset) about the highlighted text, and next time when i open the same page, highlight the same text. I am able to successfully store the info and retrieve them when the same page opens. And i am trying to highlight the text using following code. var range = document.createRange(); range.setStart(startNode, startOffset); range.setEnd(endNode, endOffset); document.designMode = "on"; range.execCommand("HiliteColor", false, colour); document.designMode = "off"; But it is not working as i am expecting. Can anyone help me to achieve the required? Thanks...

    - by ganapati hegde
Hi, i have written a program under ubuntu, in which i include gtkmozembed.h. I am facing a problem in compiling the program.Below is the simplest form of a program which uses gtkmozembed. #include <gtk/gtk.h> #include <stdio.h> #include <gtkmozembed.h> int main(){ GtkWidget *mozEmbed; mozEmbed = gtk_moz_embed_new(); return 0; } Eventhough, the above program is doing nothing, compiling that program is a lot for me... I am trying to comile the above program like below gcc `pkg-config --libs --cflags gtk+-2.0` test.c -o test and it is giving the following error... error: gtkmozembed.h: No such file or directory I can understand, something else has to be added to the above gcc line,so that the compiler can find the gtkmozembed.h, but not getting what is that, 'something'...Looking for someone's help..Thank you...

  • Trying to debug a plugin in tuxguitar, need help building the project in Eclipse.

    - by Shawn Simon
I am not too familiar with java / eclipse but I am trying to debug a plugin in TuxGuitar. The plugin is the gtp plugin which allows reading of guitar pro files. I have imported the main project, TuxGuitar, and the TuxGuitar-gtp plugin. I have all build dependencies configured and the project builds. However, when I debug the app, the plugin is not available. The documentation says plugins are loaded from the share/plugins folder and they are jar files. I tried exporting the gtp plugin as a jar into the share/plugins folder, but it still does not load when I debug. Is there some sort of configuration I need to do in Eclipse? Thanks!

  • render HTML (convert to bitmap)

    - by MK
Can somebody recommend the best (and preferably portable) way to render HTML documents onto a bitmap? As far as I understand my main 2 options are WebKit and Gecko, but I wasn't able to find a good starting point on how to do it. When I last tried doing this 5 years ago, I ended up using Gecko to send the document to a printer, which is not really what I need. I need rendering to a in-memory bitmap. To clarify: server side, no Java, no .NET, batch processing, performance, not interactive, no Javascript.

  • Using nsIZipWriter or other to compress a string as a string?

    - by Daniel
I need to be able to take a javascript string, compress it using any fast and available means and get back a binary string/blob. Background: The extension I'm developing needs to send various large content to my server. It does this conveniently by dynamically creating a form, adding fields to the form and posting it. Some of these fields are just too big bandwidth wise for multiple use. I'd like to be able to compress them before adding them and then maybe base64'ing them if the characters cause a problem in the message. Any ideas? I could use nsiZipWriter with temporary files on disk but that is quite ugly and probably sluggish.

  • Location of Firefox throbber/spinner image

    - by Premasagar
I'm trying to locate the "throbber" (or "spinner") image used in the Firefox 3.6x chrome to show that a request is being processed: I'm not familiar with the source code structure for Firefox, and a simple search hasn't yielded the answer. Does anyone know which file I'm looking for? (E.g. can you provide a link to the file in the Mercurial repository, or tell me how to find it?).
