  • jKey (JavaScript key shortcut plugin) Issue

    - by Oscar Godson
    Me and a friend are writing a plugin for jQuery that makes it easy for devs to add key shortcuts and we're damn close but no cigar. We're having issues with the key combos. It seems like we are having issues when you call the same selector multiple times on a page. Try pressing alt+a... youll see it works one time, then gets all mangled up. Anyone know how to fix it? It'll be on github after it's corrected and I'd be happy to add "thank you to" link to whoever can fix this in the header with the copyright info :) It's nicely documented and i have all the code and stuff here. So... anyone? http://jsbin.com/azaha4

  • Entity Framework model and foreign key property

    - by verror
    I have 2 tables that I import to EF model. First table has a property [section] that acts as foreign key to the second table. When I map this property in model to the table and try to compile I get this error: Problem in Mapping Fragments starting at lines 158, 174: Non-Primary-Key column(s) [Section] are being mapped in both fragments to different conceptual side properties - data inconsistency is possible because the corresponding conceptual side properties can be independently modified. If i remove this property from the model it passes, but when I query the data I don't have the section field. I know that I can get it by using the navigation field and reading this property from the second table, but to make it work I must include the other table in my query. var res = from name in Context.Table1.Include("Table2")... Why do I need to include the association just for one field?

  • Threading errors with Application.LoadComponent (key already exists)

    - by Kellls
    MSDN says that public static members of System.Windows.Application are thread safe. But when I try to run my app with multiple threads I get the following exception: ArgumentException: An entry with the same key already exists. at System.ThrowHelper.ThrowArgumentException(ExceptionResource resource) at System.Collections.Generic.SortedList`2.Add(TKey key, TValue value) at System.IO.Packaging.Package.AddIfNoPrefixCollisionDetected(ValidatedPartUri partUri, PackagePart part) at System.IO.Packaging.Package.GetPartHelper(Uri partUri) at System.IO.Packaging.Package.GetPart(Uri partUri) at System.Windows.Application.GetResourceOrContentPart(Uri uri) at System.Windows.Application.LoadComponent(Uri resourceLocator, Boolean bSkipJournaledProperties) at System.Windows.Application.LoadComponent(Uri resourceLocator) The application works fine on a single thread and even on two or three. When I get up past 5 then I get the error every time. Am I doing something wrong? What can I do to fix this?

  • Trigger button click with JavaScript on Enter key in Text Box

    - by ziondreams
    I have one text input and one button (see below). How can I use JavaScript to trigger the button's click event when the Enter key is pressed inside the text box? There is already a different submit button on my current page, so I can't simply make the button a submit button. And, I only want the enter key to click this specific button if it is pressed from within this one text box, nothing else. <input type="text" id="txtSearch" /> <input type="button" id="btnSearch" value="Search" onclick="doSomething();" /> Update: I'd like to accept my own answer below, but since that is now allowed I will accept the next best solution.

  • Serialize Dictionary with a string key and List[] value to JSON

    - by Patrick
    How can I serialize a python Dictionary to JSON and pass back to javascript, which contains a string key, while the value is a List (i.e. []) if request.is_ajax() and request.method == 'GET': groupSet = GroupSet.objects.get(id=int(request.GET["groupSetId"])) groups = groupSet.groups.all() group_items = [] #list groups_and_items = {} #dictionary for group in groups: group_items.extend([group_item for group_item in group.group_items.all()]) #use group as Key name and group_items (LIST) as the value groups_and_items[group] = group_items data = serializers.serialize("json", groups_and_items) return HttpResponse(data, mimetype="application/json") the result: [{"pk": 5, "model": "myApp.group", "fields": {"name": "\u6fb4\u9584", "group_items": [13]}}] while the group_items should have many group_item and each group_item should have "name", rather than only the Id, in this case the Id is 13. I need to serialize the group name, as well as the group_item's Id and name as JSON and pass back to javascript. I am new to Python and Django, please advice me if you have a better way to do this, appreciate. Thank you so much. :)

  • Best way to get a reasonably random key for MYSQL records

    - by Steve N
    Hi there, I need to generate a reasonably random unique key for a table. It should be something like a GUID for MYSQL. I've tried UUID, but it looks like only the first few characters are actually random- the rest are the same every time I insert them. Essentially, it is desirable for this key field to be very difficult to guess, even if you already have one known value in the column. What is the best way to do this, and how should I set up the field data type to store the value efficiently? Thank you, Steve

  • LINQ to SQl updating primary key field?

    - by Curtis White
    I have a linq to sql table/class that uses a GUID as both a primary key and as foreign key. This problem came up when factoring some code that previously worked. The exception generated is "Operation is not valid due to the current state of the object." The process I use is as such: aspnet_User user() = new aspnet_User(); aspnet_user.childTable = new childTable(); .. set some properties user.Insert() -> my custom method ... @ my custom method using (mycontext dc = new context() ) { user.childTable.ID = (Guid)myNewlyCreatedGuid; } The exception occurs on the assignment childTable.set_UserId().

  • Mysql on duplicate key update + sub query

    - by jwzk
    Using the answer from this question: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/662877/need-mysql-insert-select-query-for-tables-with-millions-of-records new_table * date * record_id (pk) * data_field INSERT INTO new_table (date,record_id,data_field) SELECT date, record_id, data_field FROM old_table ON DUPLICATE KEY UPDATE date=old_table.data, data_field=old_table.data_field; I need this to work with a group by and join.. so to edit: INSERT INTO new_table (date,record_id,data_field,value) SELECT date, record_id, data_field, SUM(other_table.value) as value FROM old_table JOIN other_table USING(record_id) ON DUPLICATE KEY UPDATE date=old_table.data, data_field=old_table.data_field, value = value; I can't seem to get the value updated. If I specify old_table.value I get a not defined in field list error.

  • Unlock Key Component

    - by mob1lejunkie
    Hi, I have almost completed my Android application so am considering ways of distributing the application. I have seen some applications on Market have free limited/locked version and separate Unlock Key/License Key which unlocks extra functionality. How is this done? Has anyone here done this? If so, how well does it work? I am thinking maybe this is better then having two versions of the same application (i.e Lite and Pro). Thanks.

  • Check if key exists in $_SESSION by building index string

    - by Kim
    I need to check if a key exists and return its value if it does. Key can be an array with subkeys or endkey with a value. $_SESSION['mainKey']['testkey'] = 'value'; var_dump(doesKeyExist('testkey')); function doesKeyExist($where) { $parts = explode('/',$where); $str = ''; for($i = 0,$len = count($parts);$i<$len;$i++) { $str .= '[\''. $parts[$i] .'\']'; } $keycheck = '$_SESSION[\'mainKey\']' . $str; if (isset(${$keycheck})) { return ${$keycheck}; } // isset($keycheck) = true, as its non-empty. actual content is not checked // isset(${$keycheck}) = false, but should be true. ${$var} forces a evaluate content // isset($_SESSION['mainKey']['testkey']) = true } What am I doing wrong ?   • Cannot add or update a child row: a foreign key constraint fails

  • SQL - Dervied Foreign Key - Possible?

    - by Chad
    I'm just curious if this is possible, specifically in SQL CE (Express) with support in .NET's Entity Framework: Table1 (primary) -nvarchar(2000) url -... Table2 (with foreign key) -nvarchar(2000) domain -... foreign key on Table2.domain references Table1.url such that Table.url contains Table2.domain e.g. Table1: http://www.google.com/blah/blah http://www.cnn.com/blah/ http://www.google.com/foo Table2: google.com cnn.com Is it possible for this to be scripted and enforced by SQL CE (let alone any relation database) and, if so, can .NET's Entity Framework automatically support this if I import my database into a model?

  • Retrive multiple values from single dimension value / key JSON

    - by jonnypixel
    I'm busting my head trying to work this out. "ContentBlock1":["2","22"] I have been trying to get the 2 and the 22 into a comma sepertaed string so i can use it within a MySQL IN(2,22) query. I currently have tried several ways but none seem to work for me. $ContentBlock = my json data; $cid = json_decode($ContentBlock,true); foreach ($cid as $key){ $jsoncid = "$key ,"; } And then: SELECT * FROM content WHERE featured=1 AND state=1 AND catid IN($jsoncid) ORDER BY ordering ASC LIMIT 4");

  • Error 1005 when adding a foreign key constraint on mysql table

    - by luc
    Hello, I have a problem when upgrading a django and mysql app with south. I've tried to make a sql-based upgrade with the code generated by the django sqlall command and I have a similar problem. Here is the sql code: CREATE TABLE `programmations_basissupport` ( `id` integer AUTO_INCREMENT NOT NULL PRIMARY KEY, `value` numeric(6, 0) NOT NULL ) ALTER TABLE `programmations_concert` ADD `basis_support_id` integer AFTER program_status_id; ALTER TABLE `programmations_concert` ADD CONSTRAINT `basis_support_id_refs_id_1e4ed8d7` FOREIGN KEY (`basis_support_id`) REFERENCES `programmations_basissupport` (`id`); An error is raised when adding the FK constraint: ERROR 1005 (HY000): Can't create table 'apidev_mnl.#sql-106e_632b00a' (errno: 150) Does anybody have an idea? Update: DEFAULT values where missing but even if I add the default='' in the django model, the creation of foreign keys fails. Thanks for your help

  • How to load an entity by a key other than primary key?

    - by stacker
    In a customized servlet (seam 2.1.2) this works fine TableNameHome tableNameHome = (TableNameHome) Component.getInstance( "tableNameHome " ); tableName entity = tableNameHome.getInstance(); entity.setXXX(); tableNameHome.persit(); However this one fails: entityManager = tableNameHome .getEntityManager(); Query query = entityManager.createQuery( "SELECT b FROM tablename b WHERE b.box_id = :key2nd" ); query.setParameter( "key2nd", value); List results = query.getResultList(); and leads to this error message: org.hibernate.hql.ast.QuerySyntaxException: tablename is not mapped [SELECT b FROM tablename b WHERE b.key2nd = :key2nd] In EJB 2.1 I could implement other finder-methods. EntityHome.find() searches only by primary key. What do I need to do in order to query by a different criteria than primary key?

  • Add Unique Key For Nullable Columns - SQL Server

    - by Ruby
    I'm using sql server 2008 R2 and would like to apply unique key constraint to nullable columns. This code works good, but if I have multiple columns to add this rule to, it would generate as many 'nullbuster' columns. ALTER TABLE tblBranch ADD nullbuster AS (CASE WHEN column1 IS NULL THEN BranchID ELSE NULL END); CREATE UNIQUE INDEX UK_Column1 ON tblBranch(column1,nullbuster); tblBranch is the table name, nullbuster would be the new column name, BranchId is the Primary key column of the target table, and Column1 is the column name of the target column. Is there any way that I could achieve the goal without generating new columns.

  • Generate a valid array key from an URL string in PHP

    - by John Riche
    I have a PHP array with some predefined values: $aArray = array( 0 => 'value0', 1 => 'value1' ); I need to create a function where the string input will always return the same, valid, array key so that when I call: GiveMeAKey('http://www.google.com'); // May return 0 or 1 I receive always the same key (I don't care which one) from the array. Obvisously I can't store the relationship in a database and the string passed to the GiveMeAKey method can be any URL. I wonder if there is a way of doing that ?

  • SQL Server Express: Failed to add primary key after creating a database table

    - by Syd
    Scenario: I have created a database table. And when I tried to add a primary key (using the SQL Server Management Studiio) to the table, it failed with an error message "Saving changes is not permitted. The changes you have made requrie the following tables to be dropped and re-created. You have either made changes to a table that can't be recreated or enabled the option Prevent savign changes that require the table to be re-created." The environment is Windows 7. I have earlier installed it on a Windows XP SP2 and it worked. And yes, my table is empty (freshly created). My current workaround is to run the "Drop and Create" script. The other alternative is to create the primary key before I save the table. Is this a bug or a limitation with the Express version?

  • The glutKeyboardFunc does not react to key presses immediately

    - by Nibirue
    I have a function glutKeyboardFunc(keyboard), where keyboard has: void keyboard(unsigned char key, int x, int y){ float alpha = 1.0; switch(key){ case 'c': glClearColor(1,0,0,alpha); printf("success"); break; } } This is a summary of the function; it works properly, but only once some other action has occurred. For instance, the printf statement reports success immediately on keystroke 'c', but the background color does not become active until I click somewhere else on the canvas. I want all keystrokes to have an immediate effect.

  • Wherewith replace Dictionary.Where(p => p.Key is T)

    - by abatishchev
    I have a System.Collections.Generic.Dictionary<System.Web.UI.Control, object> where all keys can be either type of System.Web.UI.WebControls.HyperLink or type of System.Web.UI.WebControls.Label. I want to change Text property of each control. Because HyperLink doesn't implement (why??) ITextControl, I need to cast Label or HyperLink explicitly: Dictionary<Control,object> dic = .. dic .Where(p => p.Key is HyperLink) .ForEach(c => ((HyperLink)c).Text = "something") dic .Where(p => p.Key is Label) .ForEach(c => ((Label)c).Text = "something") Are there ways to workaround such approach?
