    Hi, First of all I apologize if this question is asked before. I am planning to develop a small application which displays my bank account details(like Mint.com) where I can customize the display of my own. I want to know how and where to start. Where these OFX API's are available? Are they free or we need to pay and get access to those API? What is data format ( xml, xml/atom, json) ? Any article or document to understand this requirement and start developing? Any open source software where I can download the code and customize it? FYI : I am working on C#.Net. Any help would be appreciated. Edit : Mark : Thanks for you info. If I want to develop a application like Mint.com what are the other companies provide API's other than Yoodlee?     Hi, i'have two Listbox. the think is i do the transfert like : click on field in the left listbox, hit "move right" button and it wll display in the right list box.' The other think it's the first Listbox is bind on Dataset and the second on Entity (Linq-to sql).     I still feel a bit unsafe about the topic and hope you folks can help me - For passing data (configuration or results) between a worker thread polling something and a controlling thread interested in the most recent data, I've ended up using more or less the following pattern repeatedly: Mutex m; tData * stage; // temporary, accessed concurrently // send data, gives up ownership, receives old stage if any tData * Send(tData * newData) { ScopedLock lock(m); swap(newData, stage); return newData; } // receiving thread fetches latest data here tData * Fetch(tData * prev) { ScopedLock lock(m); if (stage != 0) { // ... release prev prev = stage; stage = 0; } return prev; // now current } Note: This is not supposed to be a full producer-consumer queue, only the msot recent data is relevant. Also, I've skimmed ressource management somewhat here. When necessary I'm using two such stages: one to send config changes to the worker, and for sending back results. Now, my questions assuming that ScopedLock implements a full memory barrier: do stage and/or workerData need to be volatile? is volatile necessary for tData members? can I use smart pointers instead of the raw pointers - say boost::shared_ptr? Anything else that can go wrong? I am basically trying to avoid "volatile infection" spreading into tData, and minimize lock contention (a lock free implementation seems possible, too). However, I'm not sure if this is the easiest solution. ScopedLock acts as a full memory barrier. Since all this is more or less platform dependent, let's say Visual C++ x86 or x64, though differences/notes for other platforms are welcome, too. (a prelimenary "thanks but" for recommending libraries such as Intel TBB - I am trying to understand the platform issues here)

  • Which persistent & lightweight queue messaging for cross domain (> 2) data exchange with rails integ

    Hi all, I'm looking for the right messaging system for my needs. Can you help me ? For now, there won't be a huge amount of data to process, but I don't want to be limited later ... The machines are not just web servers, so the messaging tool should be lightweight, even if processing is not very speed. When some data change on a server, all servers should have the information and process it locally. (should I create one channel per server on each of them ?) The frontend is written on Rails, so it is important, in order to simplify the development, that there is a gem / plugin to manage communications and data sent. At this time : RabbitMQ + workling seems to fit my needs. Could this be a right choice ? ActiveMQ make me afraid, because of Java (I really don't know very well Java, but it seems to me to be big CPU consumer) Others don't seem to be as mature as them. There might be lot of development using this kind of technology, so I can't go to the wrong way ! Thank you for help.

  • Fast exchange of data between unmanaged code and managed code

    Hello: Without using p/invoke, from a C++/CLI I have succeeded in integrating various methods of a DLL library from a third party built in C. One of these methods retrieves information from a database and stores it in different structures. The C++/CLI program I wrote reads those structures and stores them in a List<, which is then returned to the corresponding reading and use of an application programmed completely in C#. I understand that the double handling of data (first, filling in several structures and then, filling all of these structures into a list<) may generate an unnecessary overload, at which point I wish C++/CLI had the keyword "yield". Depending on the above scenario, do you have recommendations to avoid or reduce this overload? Thanks.

    I am having a Java application running in a Tomcat server using Spring, Hibernate, etc. and a two web interfaces, one implemented in Tapestry 5 and the other one using Flex with BlazeDS and Spring-BlazeDS. In my first android application I would now like to log in to the server and retrieve some data. I´m wondering how I could achieve this in a secure way. First of all I need to know which technology is the best to retrieve data from the server and how can I restrict the access to users only that have been successfully authenticated. With what I read until now I would try to implement a HTTPServlet on the server and make server calls via HTTP Client. In the servlet I could probably use the HTTPSession to check if the request comes from an authenticated user. And the data I would try to send serialized (JSON). Unfortunately, I´ve never done those things and maybe I´m on the wrong way and there are more comfortable solutions.

    hey guys, for developement reasons (working with facebook-connect) i put the connect iframe in an iframe. on that way i am able to work on the connect-thing independent of my ip and don't have to develop on the live-server. the iframe holding the connect-button iframe is on my server, accessing the same db-server as the developer version (developer version is running on localhsot). as far as good ... BUT how can i let the parent site know, that the user has connected, so that i get his profile-picture displayd as reaction to this? how can i react in generally on an action/event/JS in an iframe? is there a way? can the iframe post data to the parent site? like a time-stamp and fb_userid? if the iframe stuff doesn't work ... i thougt of saving the ip to the fb_userid (to db) and check matches ... but i don't like this idea.

  • How do I increase maximum attachment size in Exchange 2007 SP1?

    I've been looking all over for a relatively simple answer to a fairly straightforward question: "how do I increase the maximum size of attachments that can be sent and/or received in Exchange 2007?". But I have yet to find a solution that works. We have a pretty straightforward setup: Exchange 2007 SP1 running on a single server, with the OWA role delegated to a second server. We did a clean install of Exchange 2007 a year or two ago: we did not upgrade from a previous version. I forget if we installed RTM and then patched it to SP1, or if we installed with SP1 already baked in. I just thought I'd mention those items, in case they influence the answer. So far, I've tried running the following Powershell commands on the main Exchange server and verified that they've taken effect: Set-TransportConfig -MaxReceiveSize 40MB Set-ReceiveConnector "RcvConnector" -MaxMessageSize 40MB Set-MaxReceiveSize "MailboxName" -MaxReceiveSize 40MB As of right now, though, the specified mailbox is still rejecting messages over 10MB. You get brownie points if you can also tell me how to set the default mailbox attachment size limits, so that new accounts don't have default Set-MaxReceiveSize values of "unlimited" they currently do. Any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Tx in advance!

    Does anyone know of a way to obtain free real-time stock data or near real-time stock data? I'd like to do this since I'm interested in the financial market, not for use in investment applications which is why I'm looking for something free. I've tried the Perl module Finance::YahooQuote but some of the fields such as last trade time appear to be broken. I've looked at the historical data but it doesn't fit my needs since I'd like to monitor the movements of the markets and stocks during the trading day not just open and close. I've also looked at http://www.opentick.com but they aren’t accepting new accounts and I can't find a timeline for when their network upgrade will be complete.

    I'm about to throw in the towel on this one. Running SQL Server 2008 enterprise on Windows 7 x64. Can't get past this issue. When I try to Import / Export Data from databases through SQL Server Management Studio I get the following Error. Error: TITLE: SQL Server Import and Export Wizard ------------------------------ The SSIS Data Flow Task could not be created. Verify that DTSPipeline.dll is available and registered. The wizard cannot continue and it will terminate. ------------------------------ ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Cannot create a task with the name "STOCK:PipelineTask". Verify that the name is correct. ({0194F10C-9860-4A4F-AF8B-DE7EFD89859F}) I have tried many solutions found via Google, but none of them have worked. A side issue that may be related is when I try to create an Integration Services Project in Business Intelligence Studio I get a 'project creation failed' error.

    I've been doing a lot of reading online about the Linksys WRTU54G-TM router model that I now own. It seems getting a custom firmware onto it is not a problem. But no one is talking about retaining the Voip features (yet). So far they're all disappointed that it's not a SIP machine and used GSM over IPSec. Personally I don't care about using it with non-t-mobile. If I take the original firmware, shouldn't I be able to extract it, and it's SquashFS image, and then move all of the t-mobile specific binaries for enabling the calling features over to a custom firmware installation (maybe OpenWRT)? You might ask why, and the reason is, that if I do this I could retain my calling features, which I do want, and ssh to the router and use it to run additional software, as any OpenWRT router could do. Does anyone know if this can be done, and how the firmware's binaries could be gotten at and installed correctly? Update I have found someone working on 3rd party WRTU54G-TM firmware. I am still interested in my second part of the questions, that is can't the stock firmware images be pulled apart and have the close-source, if any, binary kernel modules moved into another more flexible custom firmware?

  • Max. Temp. on Intel Burn Test for Stock Dell Precision T3500

    I'm troubleshooting an issue on a Dell Precision T3500. As part of my troubleshooting I've decided to try running a stress test using Intel Burn Test software. This machine is a stock configuration with 12GB of RAM and a Xeon W3670 processor (nothing overclocked). When I run IBT using the standard mode, SpeedFan reports a processor temperature in excess of 80C. I've seen numbers as high as 90C but even at that temperature the machine does not become unstable or crash. However, it seems way too high. This processor has a TCase of 67.9C according to Intel's website. I'm guessing that means I'm in the danger zone any time I go over that temperature. I've checked the cooling system and everything looks fine. I've even took out the heat sink and reinstalled it with new thermal compound. This did not appear to make the problem better or worse. Is there a discrepancy somewhere here in the way temperatures are measured or displayed? I've also tried using HWMonitor from CPUID and it reports the same temperatures. Should I just let the Standard Test go and disregard the temperature outputs?
