• MySQL, how can I SELECT WHERE one field value doesn't occurs in another?

  I'm trying to do a search on my test server, speed isn't so important. I want to find if a phrase, the whole contents of one field, occurs in any part (as a whole) doesn't occur in another field. Heres my current query which finds if the phrase does occur SELECT pads.padid, pads.programname, keywords.word FROM Pads JOIN keywords ON Pads.Padid = keywords.Padid WHERE pads.Programname = keywords.word AND RemoveMeDate = '2001-01-01 00:00:00' My problem is that the field word contains other words too. I need to produce a count of where there isn't a keywords record with keywords.word equal to pads.programname ? EDIT: So if I have these records Pads: PadID=3 ProgramName=my prog PadID=4 ProgramName=Bad prog PadID=5 ProgramName=Good prog PadID=6 ProgramName=other prog Keywords: PadID=3 word=fox prog PadID=3 word=pig prog PadID=4 word=big prog PadID=4 word=nice prog PadID=5 word=fox prog PadID=6 word=bad prog PadID=6 word=fox prog The query I want would retun a count of 3 and record 6 has bad prog

I wish to add those 2 spaces to 3's end and 7's end to make it like this: "123 567 890" I was trying to achieve the following steps: parse the string into words by words list (array of strings). From upstream function I will get values of variables word_count, *line and remain. concatenate them with a space at the end. add space distributively, with left to right priority, so when a fair division cannot be done, the second to last word's end will have (no. of spaces) spaces, the previous ones will get (spaces + 1) spaces. concatenate everything together to make it a new *line. • Why can't “knife data bag from file” find existing json file on chef server?

  Summary: I'm running into a problem with "knife data bag from file", where knife doesn't recognize the .json data bag file pulled down from a remote git repo. Background: I'm currently trying to transition from chef-solo use to chef server while using the cookbooks, data bags and other chef info from our remote git repo. I've currently pulled down a copy of our git repo and set the cookbook path and data bag path in knife.rb. I also loaded the cookbooks, made adjustments, etc. Details: When trying to load our .json data bags by doing "knife data bag add from file FOLDER FILE" it looks like it worked until I do "knife data bag list" and it comes up blank. So I decided to try adding the edit option at the end to see what's being loaded, if it is. This is the error I get: knife data bag from file local_settings test.json -e nano ERROR: Could not find or open file 'test.json' in current directory or in 'data_bags/local_settings/test.json' The data bag file does exist, in the proper location, in a tested, working json file. I've also sometimes gotten an error saying "could not open data bag "local_settings". I would obviously like to keep the data bag path within the appropriate git repo folder to be able to keep track of changes in a more centralized location (our git repo, as opposed to the chef server). Any solutions, advice or pointers in the right direction are appreciated.

For normal "single main feature" DVDs I have a good workflow, and for the most part handbrake does a good job of figuring out what the main title is. The process for ripping a DVD that has multiple episodes of something kinda sucks. Has anyone made any progress on automating (or at least simplifying) the process of getting show-s01e01.avi from a DVD?

  Here's the problem: I would like to keep lots of home made videos. Of course, they are subject to being lost, or somebody could steal the the computer, or water or fire could destroy them. Secondly, I have to plug in my hard drive every time I want to watch something, which I find slow and cumbersome. I was thinking that perhaps I could upload the videos to Youtube with the privacy set to invite only and then delete the video from the hard drive automatically. Could this be done?

  This is driving me absolutely insane. I want to start the page numbering on page 5 and for it to continue to the end of the document. I've tried using page/section breaks but that didn't work. I've also tried pressing ctrl + F9 while in the footer and adding it in the format { if{ page } < 5 "{ page *roman }" "{ page }" } but that doesn't work either. Does anyone have any ideas? I've been trying to fix this for the past hour.

  Having a lot of different customers and a lot of different areas to work with makes it trivial to have your mail folders in order. Everytime I get a new Project / Customer I want to add a certain Folder Structure in my "Customer" / "Project" sub directory. It might look like this: Customer_name/ Bugs Documents Important Support/ Done And as it is today, I have to manually add these manually, which is harsh when you have a lot of it going on and each sub directory under the customer_name directory needs to have "display all items" since it's important to me to see all Items in Bugs / Support / Important. Makes my life easier. So, Is it possible to Automize the process somehow? Macro? Folder Templates? What are my options?

  Our company uses pic database and wIntegrate 4.02 to interface with. How would I go about automating the .wis files for importing and exporting through wIntegrate? Is there some type of macro, software solution or built in routine I can use? At the moment I manually login to pic using wIntegrate and goto run - querybuilder and select the desired .wis script for importing and exporting data and select ok to run. This is not a solution, it needs to be automated. Anyone? Is there some type of point a click freeware recording software?   I've been batch-resizing images through Preview (OS X) through the menu bar, but I want a simpler workflow, since I do this a dozen times a day. What I want: 1. Select a group of image files in finder 2. Hit a button or two (menu item or keyboard shortcut) to do the following: a. Scale all the pictures to 600 pixels wide b. Save as JPG files at 75% quality What I also want: - All of the above, plus step a(1): Crop images to 200 pixel height I can do all that manually, to a batch of files, through Preview. I can do it one at a time with some keyboard shortcuts in Photoshop or Pixelmator. Automator (using Preview) can scale to 600 pixels on the longest dimension, but it doesn't let me specify width. (It can scale specifically to width before cropping height.) It can change to JPG, but it can't specify image quality. And I can assign a keyboard shortcut to the whole process. Is that my best option on a Mac? Can I accomplish this more efficiently through another app like Quicksilver?
