  • Dicas do C# 4 consumindo uma DLL da Daruma com o mestre Claudenir

    - by renatohaddad

  • How do I set up a double domain like domain2.mydomain.com and mydomain.com?

    - by kdavis8
    I would like to set up a server similar to Google's. Their domain acts like a double domain, like you can use these URLS, "play.Google.com" or "apps.Google.com", to go to different sites.. For example, my domain would now be "my_domain.com" but i would like another one to be "domain2.my_domain.com". My question is,what is this officially called and how do i set it up? I'm not sure if you need two servers or just 1;

    I've decided to implement a new blogging infrastructure based on WordPress; the community server stuff I'm using has got a bit tired and WordPress offers a wealth of plug-ins to do pretty much everything I want. So, see http://dataidol.com/tonyrogerson for my new blog; its not just a move, I have broadened my coverage to encompass all things data, the first couple of posts talk about Short-Stroking hard disks (something I've presented on a number of times now), I've also got some Erlang content.Anyway, enjoy!T

I know this list is available at: http://www.verisigninc.com/en_US/products-and-services/domain-name-services/grow-your-domain-name-business/tld-zone-access/index.xhtml ( looks like it could take 4 weeks for approval) http://www.premiumdrops.com/zones.html Also I can extract domain names using domain search API at domaintools.com Is there any other source where I can find this list?

  • Licenses that i can use for my works, web apps, desktop apps, wordpress themes etc

    - by jiewmeng
    I originally thought of creative commons when while reading a book about wordpress (professional wordpress), I learned that I should also specify that the product is provided ... WITHOUT ANY WARRANTY; without even the implied warranty of MERCHANTABILITY or FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE and they recommend GNU GPL. How do I write a license or select 1? btw, what does 'MERCHANTABILITY or FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE' mean actually? Isn't without warranty enough?

  • Using both .co.uk and .com domain

    - by Mantorok
    We presently have a .co.uk domain that has been live now for around 9-10 months, recently the .com version of this domain has become available and we've purchased based on reading that suggests you should try and go for .com where possible. My issue now is, what should I do with the .com? Should I use this in favour of the .co.uk or use both? I'm concerned that rankings might be affected if I completely replace the .co.uk with the .com. Any suggestions?

  • SSL/https setup for herokuapp.com address rather than my actual domain

    - by new2ruby
    I have a subdomain of my site pointed to a rails app at mysite.herokuapp.com. I bought a certificate from godaddy and seem to have that all set up correctly. So that when I go to: http://mysite.herokuapp.com or http://dev.mysite.com it's redirected to: https://mysite.herokuapp.com or https://dev.mysite.com The problem is that when I visit dev.mysite.com, I get the error: Safari can't verify the identity of the website. But when I go to mysite.herokuapp.com, I don't get the error. I wanted this to be set up the other way, so that dev.mysite.com did not cause the error. I'm not sure where I went wrong. I used dev.mysite.com when generating the key and when setting it up at godaddy.com. Any ideas where I should look? P.S. The old site is hosted at dreamhost and the DNS info is stored there as well. So I created a subdomain there of type cname which points to mysite.herokuapp.com.

  • ServerAlias www.example.com is not recognized

    - by Tianzhou Chen
    Below is my config file: NameVirtualHost 12.34.56.78:80 < VirtualHost 12.34.56.78:80 ServerAdmin admin@domain1.com ServerName domain1.com ServerAlias www.domain1.com DocumentRoot /srv/www/domain1.com/public_html1/ ErrorLog /srv/www/domain1.com/logs/error.log CustomLog /srv/www/domain1.com/logs/access.log combined < /VirtualHost < VirtualHost 12.34.56.78:80 ServerAdmin admin@domain2.com ServerName domain2.com ServerAlias www.domain2.com DocumentRoot /srv/www/domain2.com/public_html1/ ErrorLog /srv/www/domain2.com/logs/error.log CustomLog /srv/www/domain2.com/logs/access.log combined < /VirtualHost The thing is when I put www.domain1.com into browser, apache2 doesn't retrieve the web page resides in /srv/www/domain1.com/public_html1/, instead, it gets the page from the default document root defined in another file. However, if I put www.domain2.com, everything works fine. I don't see any difference between two VirtualHost config block, so I wonder what does make the difference. BTW, I haven't put any .htaccess file under their document root. Thanks for your advice! Tianzhou
