  I created an application ( Creating up to 1,00,000 files in a folder ) with 2 different languages ( C#.Net & JAva ) with file concepts and its best methods. The Application that I created with .NET takes just 3 seconds to create all the files. At the same time, with Java, it takes 15 seconds. Why is it so ?

  So, I've been doing android application tutorials and everytime I create a package, for example the helloAndroid tutorial is com.example.android. When it saves this to src it creates a folder for com, another for example and one last one for android.   I dont see any direct mention on using multiple slugs (or any behavior for that matter) for single model. Is there a way to use the sluggable behavior to generate two separate slugs for a model? For example i need to generate two slugs for every record a product_id consisting of a slugified company name and sku and a distributor_id consisting of a different slugified company name. Obviously i could write this myself fairly easily, im just wondering if this can be done quickly with Sluggable.

  In SharePoint 2010 when you hover over a column heading (i.e. to sort) in a list table, you get a hover effect, how can you supress / change this? I can see it uses OnChildColumn(this), so is there a way to modify this - either preventing the effect (e.g. when sorting can't be done on a column), or using a different background image? Also want to do the same when you hover over a cell in any of the list table's contents.

  At my job I have to work with three different databases. One is a SQL Server 2008, for which I use SQL Server Management Studio, and another is MySQL, for which I use the MySQL tools. The third however is a Cache database that I can only access through a ODBC connection. Currently I use the SLIK software ODBC View tool to access it, but it is severely lacking when compared with the other two tools. Can anyone recommend a good tool for this type of work?

I think firstly, I should find all the functions that call SHA1 algorithm, and I should understand why SHA1 is still used.   I am testing an algorithm for different parameters on a computer. I notice the performance fluctuates for each parameters. Say I run for the first time I got 20 ms, second times I got 5ms, third times I got 4ms: But the algorithm should work the same for these 3 times. I am using stopwatch from C# library to count the time, is there a better way to measure the performance without subjecting to those fluctuations?
