    I have an asp.net C# web forms application in .net framework 4 In my pages, when I view html source it changes control IDs to something like ctl00_CPHPageContents_txtUserID actually it is txtUserID This application was first in Framework 3.5 and IDs were generated like CPHPageContents_txtUserID So, in short, in Framework 3.5 Id was CPHPageContents_txtUserID and now in Framework 4 ID is ctl00_CPHPageContents_txtUserID which is breaking our automation tests. Can I remove this ctl00 added by Framework 4?

  • UIHint can not resolve template in abstract models

    Assume an abstract model like this: public abstract class MyClass : BaseEntity { [UIHint("File")] public long? DocumentFileId { get; set; } } The problem is Cannot resolve template 'File', while there is File.cshtml in View editor templates. The point is, if I don't define MyClass as an abstract class, error will be solved. My question is, why editor template can not resolve in abstract classes, and how can I handle it?

    I've got two instances of a SessionScoped CDI bean for the same session. I was under the impression that there would be one instance generated for me by CDI, but it generated two. Am I misunderstanding how CDI works, or did I find a bug?     Hello, I have a section of code that uploads an image: [activity startAnimating]; [self uploadImage:img Session_id:appDelegate.sessionID PlaceID:place.placeID Comment:comment.text]; [activity stopAnimating]; I am sure that activity is wired up correctly to a UIActivityViewIndicator, but it never shows. Inside the uploadImage function, I open a connection to the server and start the upload. Does anyone have an example or possible explanation as to why the activity view would not display?

I found this bug report: http://ironpython.codeplex.com/WorkItem/View.aspx?WorkItemId=8143 But that is from 2008, and nowhere can I find ICustomAttributes or PythonNameAttribute. I don't see anything useful in Interfaces.cs either. Can someone point me in the right direction?

    I have a books app with a UISearchBar, where the user types any book name and gets search results (from ext API call) below as he types. I am using a singleton variable in my app called retrievedArray which stores all the books. @interface Shared : NSObject { NSMutableArray *books; } @property (nonatomic, retain) NSMutableArray *books; + (id)sharedManager; @end This is accessed in multiple .m files using NSMutableArray *retrievedArray; ...in the header file retrievedArray = [[Shared sharedManager] books]; My question is how do I ensure that the values inside retrievedArray remain synchronized across all the classes. Actually the values inside retrievedArray gets added through an NSXMLParser (i.e. through external web service API). There is a separate XMLParser.m file, where I do all the parsing and fill the array. If user types fast and clicks on A in List view, he is shown B in detail view...That is the main issue. I have tried literally all the solutions I could think of, but am still unable to fix the issue. Please suggest some suitable fixes.

  • Using XAML + designer to edit Plain Old CLR Objects?

    I want to write a POCO in XAML, and use a DataTemplate to display that object in the GUI at runtime. So far, so good; I know how to do all that. Since I'll already have a DataTemplate that can transform my POCO into a WPF visual tree, is there any way to get the Visual Studio designer to play along, and have the Design View show me the POCO+DataTemplate's resulting GUI, as I edit the POCO's XAML? (Obviously the designer wouldn't know how to edit the "design view"; I wouldn't expect the Toolbox or click-and-drag to work on the design surface. That's fine -- I just want to see a preview as I edit.) If you're curious, the POCOs in question would be level maps for a game. (At this point, I'm not planning to ship an end-user map editor, so I'll be doing all the editing myself in Visual Studio.) So the XAML isn't WPF GUI objects like Window and UserControl, but it's still not something where I would want to blindly bang out some XAML and hope for the best. I want to see what I'm doing (the GUI map) as I'm doing it. If I try to make a XAML file whose root is my map object, the designer shows "Intentionally Left Blank - The document root element is not supported by the visual designer." It does this even if I've defined a DataTemplate in App.xaml's <Application.Resources>. But I know the designer can show my POCO, when it's inside a WPF object. One possible way of accomplishing what I want would be to have a ScratchUserControl that just contains a ContentPresenter, and write my POCO XAML inside that ContentPresenter's Content property, e.g.: <UserControl ...> <ContentPresenter> <ContentPresenter.Content> <Maps:Map .../> </ContentPresenter.Content> </ContentPresenter> </UserControl> But then I would have to be sure to copy the content back out into its own file when I was done editing, which seems tedious and error-prone, and I don't like tedious and error-prone. And since I can preview my XAML this way, isn't there some way to do it without the UserControl?

    I am developing a Delphi documents management application, so somehow I am giving the user some functionality similar to windows explorer. I would like to know if there is a way to get the preview used by windows explorer. For example windows explorer creates a small thumbnail for a pdf document for example, and displays it when the user chooses to view "big icons". Is there a way to retrieve that preview?   • Reason why UIImageView gives me a 'distorted' image sometimes

    I have a custom UIView with a UILabel and a UIImageView subview. (tried using UIImageView subclass aswell). I assign an image to it and add the view to the screen.
