  • PHP mail() function not delivering mail

    Hi there, I have a slight problem. I am using a working script (works on my testing account - shared server) to send a mail through PHP using the mail() function. I just got a dedicated server, and I haven't been able to get the function to work. I've spent the last 10 or so hours reading various documentations on BIND (for the SPF record), dovecot, sendmail and postfix trying various things to get this to work. There is clearly something that I am missing. So we know the PHP code works fine. All the headers are fine everything. We know this as it's a direct copy from my testing account. So the problem must arise somewhere in the server config. The path to sendmail is correct, and sendmail is (apparently) working fine. I've set up the script to now deliver "Sent" or "Error" based on the boolean result from the PHP mail() function. That is: if(mail($blah,$blah,$blah,$blah,$blah)) { echo "Sent"; } else { echo "Error";} And the result ALWAYS comes up as "Sent" - however, the email never arrives. Can someone suggest things to check, as I'm completely new to this (24 hours or so!). Thanks in advance. Ryan

    Hi, I am just beginner with Perl, so if it sounds stupid - sorry for that :) My problem is - I am trying to write a class, which has an empty array, defined in constructor of a class. So I am doing this like this: package MyClass; use strict; sub new { my ($C) = @_; my $self = { items => () }; bless $self, ref $C || $C; } sub get { return $_[0]->{items}; } 1; Later I am testing my class with simple script: use strict; use Data::Dumper; use MyClass; my $o = MyClass->new(); my @items = $o->get(); print "length = ", scalar(@items), "\n", Dumper(@items); And while running the script I get following: $ perl my_test.pl length = 1 $VAR1 = undef; Why am I doing wrong what causes that I get my items array filled with undef? Maybe someone could show me example how the class would need to be defined so I would not get any default values in my array? Thanks!

  • php cURL. preg_match , extract text from xhtml

    I'm trying to extract the price from the bellow html page/link using php cURL and preg_match . Basically I'm expecting for this code to output 4,550 but for some reasons I get Notice: Undefined offset: 1 in C:\wamp\www\test.php on line 22 I think that the pattern is correct because if I put the html itself in a variable and escape the "" it works ! . Also if I output (echo $result;) it displays the html properly grabbed from foxtons website so I just can't figure it out why the whole thing doesn't work . Unfortunately importing maven generated vaadin project(using m2e) and copy-pasting .project buildCommands and natures from vaadin eclipse plugin generated project does not works. I'm unnable to "Run on server...", tomcat does not deploy app for unknown reason. I can see app in wtpapps folder but it still does not deploys.

    In SublimeText(2), when you press [ctrl + shift + p] (mac osx) you are shown a scope of where your caret/cursor is in the source code at the given moment e.g.: entity.name.tag.inline.any.html meta.tag.inline.any.html text.html.basic I am curious about what library or script is used to parse the document/file and create that scope string. A sidenote: Typing view.syntax_name(view.sel()[0].b) into Sublime's console will output the scope as well.

I have the following instruction: Import ++++ certificate (in order to allow SSL connections) – it is done in Administrative Console for the corresponding WAS profile (Security-SSL certificate and key management-Key stores and certificates-NodeDefaultTrustStore-Signer certificates). Here you can simply add the attached trkd_cert.cer (“Add” button) or get it from port (“Retrieve from port” button, host: ++++.com, port 443) But this is valid for Websphere 6.1. Do somebody know how this can be done in WebSphere 5.1?

    I'm trying to select dynamic ids when a user types something into the input fields.
