• Where is EasUS coming from?

  I have downloaded the Universal USB Installer and Ubuntu 12.04 Desktop as described on your site. I installed it to a 16Gb USB stick including the format option. Now when I try to boot from the stick into Ubuntu I get a couple of lines of script then a screen with EasUS Todo Backup with Backup. Recovery, Clone and Tools options, but no sign of Ubuntu starting. Where is the start Ubuntu option please? I can find no reference to EaseUS on your help pages.

  I submitted my site's URL to my workplace's printed newsletter and when I get the printed version, they added a dot to the end of it. Some people will realize that the period is not a part of the url but others will not. Is there an easy way to redirect from http://example.com/home. to http://example.com/home? I have a IIS 7.0 shared hosting with GoDaddy. This means I have access to the box only through their interface so some options might be limited.

  Can anyone recommend affiliate networks that focus on B2B development. We are about to launch a UK job search engine that allows job boards to list their jobs on the engine. We have decided to keep the advertising in house, with the goal being of keeping the costs down. I was wondering if anyone could offer any advice on potential advertising routes that we could take. For example B2B affiliate networks, adwords etc. We are in the position of launching an empty site and ideally we would like to be attracting recruitment agencies or businesses to signup to either a free or paid account. They can then begin to populate the engine with job listings. An obvious choice so far would be to promote on networks like Linked In. Any ideas? Thanks

  I need to redirect CakePHP installation host to my domain. Location of my Cakephp installation: myhosting.com/newsite/ Domain: www.mydomain.com I'm currently using URL Frame to direct www.mydomain.com to myhosting.com/newsite/. Problem When I load www.mydomain.com, I see all links in the site is pointing to the hosting location - example - myhosting.com/newsite/product/1 It should be pointing to www.mydomain.com/product/1 Any simple way to fix this? Probably very simple to solve it, but I can't bend it. Help much appreciated.

You've visited this page 3 times. Last visit: 2012/08/15 Now since I fixed this and added a 301 redirect to redirect mysite.co.za to www.mysite.co.za I would love it if google bot would come do a visit. Is there anything I can do to get this fixed?

• Getting a lot of '/_' errors from webmaster tools

  I'm using a WordPress site and I thought I got all the kinks out of it. For some reason Webmaster Tools is crawling my website and showing a lot of 404 errors which are from /_ like additional pages that I've never created. I just can't figure out what is creating these for Google crawlers and then displaying a 404. My robots.txt is here. My sitemap (created by the Yoast plugin) is here. • How to recover organic position in Google results after server down?

  I have several sites that were doing quite well in terms of organic SEO rankings. I have the important sites setup in Google's Webmaster tools. Long story short, the system was down for about two weeks. Now in AdSense and Analytics, I am seeing that the page views are SLOWLY increasing. and I would like to know if there is anything I can do now to try to expedite the process of regaining those positions. Since there were several errors from that server, is it possible that Google will now rank any site from that IP address lower due to those two weeks of errors? Is this something that I just have to let ride out? Thanks.

So, my to my question - I got loop that run 5 times and in each time it echo something, If I'll make variable and the loop will add the text I want to echo into the variable and just in the end I'll echo the variable - will it be faster? loop 1 (with the echo inside the loop) for ($i = 0;$i < 5;$i++) { echo "test"; } loop 2 (with the echo outside [when the loop finish]) $echostr = ""; for ($i = 0;$i < 5;$i++) { $echostr .= "test"; } echo $echostr; I know that loop 2 will increase a bit the file size and therefore the user will have to download more bytes but If I got huge loop will it be better to use second loop or not?   I am building a social media site that is similar is structure to twitter and facebook.com where unauthenticated users who go to https://mysite.com will see a login + sign-up page, and authenticated users who go to https://mysite.com will see their timeline. My question is, what is the best practice (using Google Analytics) for tracking these two different types of users who are viewing completely different content but are visiting the same URL.   I recently purchased a domain through a registrar which I won't name here. Within the first five minutes of logging in, I found a severe vulnerability that allows me access to all registration details of all users. Simply put, I do not trust this registrar with any kind of business. But I'm unable to transfer the domain because, for some reason, it has to exist in its current state for 60 days. We're planning to launch the site this weekend - we can't wait 60 days. But I can not trust this registrar: if I found such a severe vulnerability in the first few minutes, how many more similar un-trustables will I find in those 60 days? Is there a higher authority to whom I can submit a case to get my domain transferred to a different registrar?

Each subdomain is a blog and I want each blog to have its own domain name i.e. thisguy.com - blog1.mainsite.com thatguy.com - blog2.mainsite.com I bought the new domains and I set up the CNAME records as above to alias them to the appropriate subdomains. However, I get my hosts "a domain is pointing to one of our servers but we don't know anything about it" landing page. How can I set up these domains as aliases of my subdomains?

• IIS and content caching

  I'm a web developer and administer of a Windows 2008R2 Could Instance with IIS 7. I recently made an update to our website, but when I revisited the website, the website was being viewed with old stylings. I did a refresh (shift + reload button in Firefox) and of course the website displayed as it should. I didn't worry about it, until my client had the same issue in Safari. So, my question, in general, is, how do I prevent this from happening again, and yet still afford some caching of our site? I noticed we did not have content expiration set up on our webserver sites, so I've set that up, but did I really need to? I've also looked at Etags, and, honestly, it's hard for me to know whether or not I should use them or not. One comment I read somewhere there isn't really any issue with Etags scenarios in IIS (even in webfarms)... but, I dunno. Anybody have any suggestions, links, info? Thanks.
