• JPanel in JFrame in NetBeans

  I have created a Java application (project) in NetBeans, in which I have designed a JFrame with menu bar, and different JPanels. I want these JPanels to appear inside the JFrame on action of different menu items, so that whenever the menu items are clicked different JPanels should appear inside the JFrame. I have designed both JFrame & JPanel separately, but I couldn't link them together. Please help me out friends.

  Hi all, I'm writing a Java applet where I should be able to simulate a connection between two hosts. Hence I have to generate packet round-trip times at random. These RTTs can go from ~0 to infinity, but are typically oscillating around some average value (i.e. an extremely large or small value is very improbable but possible). The webservice (.Net 1.1) uses HttpContext.Current.Request.UserLanguages[0] to determine the language to use. But the value of this member is alway null. So is there a way to pass the Accept-Language header along with something like "en-GB" set?

  I have a Java program that writes results to both a DB (SQL Server) and a spreadsheet (POI), and it would be best if neither is written to if there's an error with either.
