    Here is the function description test($argv) $argv is an array, for example $argv=array($from1,$to1,$from2,$to2.....); array items must be even. $argv=array(1,2,4,5) : this will output values like below: 1_4 1_5 2_4 2_5 The number of array $argv's is not constant. Maybe 3 or 4 levels of loop will be outputed. I know this will used RECURSIVE , but i don't know exactly how to code.

  • Prevent SQL Injection in Dynamic column names

    I can't get away without writing some dynamic sql conditions in a part of my system (using Postgres). My question is how best to avoid SQL Injection with the method I am currently using. EDIT (Reasoning): There are many of columns in a number of tables (a number which grows (only) and is maintained elsewhere). I need a method of allowing the user to decide which (predefined) column they want to query (and if necessary apply string functions to). The query itself is far too complex for the user to write themselves, nor do they have access to the db. There are 1000's of users with varying requirements and I need to remain as flexible as possible - I shouldn't have to revisit the code unless the main query needs to change - Also, there is no way of knowing what conditions the user will need to use. I have objects (received via web service) that generates a condition (the generation method is below - it isn't perfect yet) for some large sql queries. The _FieldName is user editable (parameter name was, but it didn't need to be) and I am worried it could be an attack vector. I put double quotes (see quoted identifier) around the field name in an attempt to sanitize the string, this way it can never be a key word. I could also look up the field name against a list of fields, but it would be difficult to maintain on a timely basis. Unfortunately the user must enter the condition criteria, I am sure there must be more I can add to the sanatize method? and does quoting the column name make it safe? (my limited testing seems to think so). an example built condition would be "AND upper(brandloaded.make) like 'O%' and upper(brandloaded.make) not like 'OTHERBRAND'" ... Any help or suggestions are appreciated.   • Is there a way to generate a short random id, avoiding collisions, without hitting persistent storag

    If you've used GoToMeeting, that's the type of ID I want. I'd like it to be random so that it obfuscates the number of items being tracked and short, so that it's easy to reference manually; UUIDs are way too long. I'd like to avoid hitting persistent storage merely for performance reasons, but I can't think of any other way to avoid collisions. Is 9 digits enough to do something time-based?

The ScatterViewItems are added programatically to the ScatterView based on info looked up in a DB The Scatterview does a good job of displaying this info However, I would like them to be evenly distributed across the table and not have any items overlapping Any ideas how to do that?

Basically I don't want to show the tag in the testimonial viewed in a block on the front page but rather I do want it to show on another page.     I've added a EULA using VS2005's built in License Agreement UI form in a Setup Project. This form has a LicenseFile property that you set to an RTF file that displays the EULA. Assuming I have a number of translated RTFs, how can I make the EULA that is displayed point to the appropriate RTF localized to the user's Windows CurrentCulture settings?
