    Is there a gem/example_code that allows to work with regexps? I am not looking for what a regexp can do, but what can be done to a Regexp object.     I have the following code that creates a new Excel file in my C# code behind. When I attempt to save the file I would like the user to select the location of the save. In Method #1, I can save the file my using the workbook SaveCopyAs without prompting the user for a location. This saves one file to the C:\Temp directory. Method #2 will save the file in my Users\Documents folder, then prompt the user to select the location and save a second copy. How can I eliminate the first copy from saving in the Users\Documents folder? There should be a way to specify externalId as the primary key, no?

    Assume that I have a pickle dump - either as a file or just as a string - how can I determine the protocol that was used to create the pickle dump automatically? And if so, do I need to read the entire dump to figure out the protocol or can this be achieved in O(1)? By O(1) I think about some header information at the beginning of the pickle string or file whose read out does not require processing the whole dump. Thanks a lot!

Now, the wicked bug: - when I run the startRecognition method in the beginning of the execution of the other application, this codes works very well. But when I run it some time after the beginning, this codes works but the handleRecognition method is never called. I see that the words are recognized because they appear on the Microsoft Speech Recognition app, but the handler method is never called. Do you know what's the problem with this code?
