    Hi all, If I have .flv files on my server at some location like http://www.example.com/archive/test.flv. In HTML page how can I tell the browser to use Flash player to play this video like youtube videos are played. Can someone tell me how to do this?     I have the following code snippet embedded into some of my divs so when those divs get clicked a certain radio button gets checked. onclick="document.g1.city[0].checked=true;" However I would like to convert the above call to a function call like below: onclick="checkRadioButton(city[0]);" And the function will be something like this function checkRadioButton(input){ document.g1.input.checked=true; } Is there a way I can accomplish this?

    guys, anyone know how to scan a folder using jquery or javascript code snippet, after that get a picture file name and embed in <li></li> or <div></div>, i've used php code to read through the folder and loop through the element to display the thumbnails and all, but it's not work well. I've try on galleria, gallerific, galleryView jquery slideshow plugin but those might not work well with php processing because of predefined configuration or something, can anyone tweak or hack these gallery to dynamically read an image from a folder?

    I have something like public class Controller { [Observer("fetchEmployeesEvent")] public function fetchEmployees() : void { //doSomething } } and I want something like public class Controller { public static const FETCH_EMPLOYEES_EVENT : String = "fetchEmployeesEvent"; [Observer(FETCH_EMPLOYEES_EVENT)] public function fetchEmployees() : void { //doSomething } } My problem is that only the first code snippet works. Flex seems to ignore the constant FETCH_EMPLOYEES_EVENT in the metadata-tag. My question is: Is it somehow possible to use constant strings in metadata?

    I can compile DLLs properly using mingw and do the exports/imports stuff. What I am looking for is defining the dll onload function properly as you would in MS VC products. Google didn't turn up anything. Anyone have any ideas or a link to a tutorial? If i remove the .live method and use the 'normal' way, ui effects defined in the first snipped are applied but only the the elements loaded before any AJAX request. The elements loaded after the ajax request are not affected by first snippet (though they have the same selector). Thanks for helping.

  • Why can I set an anonymous enum equal to another in C but not C++?

    I have the following code snippet: enum { one } x; enum { two } y; x = y; That will compile in C, but in C++, I get the following error: test.c:6: error: cannot convert ‘main()::<anonymous enum>’ to ‘main()::<anonymous enum>’ in assignment Can someone explain to me why this is happening? I would prefer an answer with some specifics about why the compiler behaves this way, rather than just "You can't do that"

    I'm giving a try at OpenCL, and in order to put this in production I'd like to be able to bind dynamically to OpenCL.DLL (when under Windows), in order to handle 'gracefully' the case where no OpenCL is installed on the host computer. Is there any available library (or code snippet) that takes care of this dynamic binding in C or C++, much like GLEW does for OpenGL ? I'd like to avoid the hassle to do it myself. Thanks,
