  I want to add an existing VC6 project in to a workspace from add-in or VBS macro. There is no function to insert an existing project in Developer Studio's Application object. So I tried to add a new project using Application's AddProject method and then overwrite the project file created with my existing project file. But it did not work. Please help.

  Say I have this url: http://site.example/dir/ In this folder I have these files: test.ascx.cs and test.ascx Just to be clear, I am not a .NET developer. From a security point of view - why can't I access http://site.example/dir/test.ascx.cs and how secure is it to keep those files there? I assume IIS filters out request that query these kind of files, but can someone explain me this? Thank you.

  In our developer environment, no users have administration rights. As such, it's not possible to install MSBuild.CommunityTasks without getting admin to do so. What I'm wondering is similar to NAnt, i.e. is it possible to include the files in your solution directory, and just reference it from there? This way, will not matter if the person has it installed, when they checkout latest code, the msbuild community files will come with, and solution will build. \SolutionDir\{solution}.sln \SolutionDir\Project\{files} \SolutionDir\MSBuild.Community\files

  I want to encrypt the connection string in web.config, the problem is each time a developer changes the connection string in web.config and publishes, it needs to be encrypted every time in the web server. Is there any way that the connection string can encrypted automatically every time someone publishes it? Note :- All of us work on our local machines other than the server.
