    I have a list of variables: variables = ['VariableA', 'VariableB','VariableC'] which I'm going to search for, line by line ifile = open("temp.txt",'r') d = {} match = zeros(len(variables)) for line in ifile: emptyCells=0 for i in range(len(variables)): regex = r'('+variables[i]+r')[:|=|\(](-?\d+(?:\.\d+)?)(?:\))?' pattern_variable = re.compile(regex) match[i] = re.findall(pattern_variable, line) if match[j] == []: emptyCells = emptyCells+1 if emptyCells == 0: for k, v in match[j]: d.setdefault(k, []).append(v) The requirement is that I will only keep the lines where all the regex'es matches! I want to collect all results for each variable in a dictionary where the variable name is the key, and the value becomes a list of all matches. The code provided is only what I've found out so far, and is not working perfectly yet...

  • C# Can I return HttpWebResponse result to iframe - Uses Digest authentication

    I am trying to figure out a way to display a cross-domain web page that uses Digest Authentication. My initial thought was to make a web request and return the entire page source. I currently have no issues with authenticating and getting a response but I am not sure how to properly return the needed data. // Create a request for the URL. WebRequest request = WebRequest.Create("http://some-url/cgi/image.php?type=live"); // Set the credentials. request.Credentials = new NetworkCredential(username, password); // Get the response. HttpWebResponse response = (HttpWebResponse)request.GetResponse(); // Get the stream containing content returned by the server. Stream dataStream = response.GetResponseStream(); // Open the stream using a StreamReader for easy access. StreamReader reader = new StreamReader(dataStream); // Read the content. string responseFromServer = reader.ReadToEnd(); // Clean up the streams and the response. reader.Close(); dataStream.Close(); response.Close(); return responseFromServer; My problems are currently... responseFromServer is not returning the entire source of the page. I.E. missing body and head tags The data is encoded improperly in responseFromServer. I believe this has something to do with the transfer encoding being of the type chunked. Further more... I am not entirely sure if this is even possible. If it matters, this is being done in ASP.NET MVC 4 C#. Thanks, Chad

The build target is not integrated into the default build process and has to be started by hand.     I've long since built a way around this, but it still keeps bugging me... it doesnt help that my grasp of dynamic LINQ queries is still shakey. For the example: Parent has fields (ParentKey, ParentField) Child has fields (ChildKey, ParentKey, ChildField) Pet has fields (PetKey, ChildKey, PetField) Child has a foreign key reference to Parent on Child.ParentKey = Parent.ParentKey Pet has a foreign key reference to Child on Pet.Childkey = Child.ChildKey Simple enough eh? Lets say I have LINQ like this... Dim Q = FROM p in DataContext.Parent _ Join c In DataContext.Child On c.ParentKey = p.ParentKey Consider this a "base query" on which I will perform other filtering actions. Now I want to join the Pet table like this: Q = Q.Join(DataContext.Pet, _ Function(a) a.c.ChildKey, _ Function(p As Pet) p.ChildKey, _ Function(a, p As Pet) p.ChildKey = a.c.ChildKey) The above Join call doesnt work. I sort of understand why it doesnt work, but hopefully it'll show you how I tried to accomplish this task. After all this was done I would have appended a Select to finish the job. Any ideas on a better way to do this? I tried it with the PredicateBuilder with little success. I might not know how to use it right but it felt like it wasnt gonna handle the joining.

  • Custom RoleProvider with MVC 2.0 webconfig

    I have a custom MembershipProvider and a custom RoleProvider. I created the custom MembershipProvider by creating a SimpleMembershipProvider class which implements the MembershipProvider class. After that I changed my web.config and works. So I used the same approach creating a custom RoleProvider. Nothing special, just creating a SimpleRoleProvider class which implements the RoleProvider class. But then when I changed the web.config file and runs the solution I get the following error message: Web.Config <membership defaultProvider="DashboardMembershipProvider"> <providers> <clear/> <add name="SimpleMembershipProvider" type="Dashboard.Web.Controlling.Account.SimpleMembershipProvider" /> </providers> </membership> <roleManager enabled="true" defaultProvider="DashboardRoleProvider"> <providers> <clear/> <add name="DashboardRoleProvider" type="Dashboard.Web.Controlling.Account.DashboardRoleProvider" /> </providers> </roleManager> Configuration Error Description: An error occurred during the processing of a configuration file required to service this request.   • Deserializing a complex JSON result (array of dictionaries) with TouchJSON

    I did a few tests with TouchJSON last night and it worked pretty well in general for simple cases. I'm using the following code to read some JSON content from a file, and deserialize it: NSString *jsonString = [[NSString alloc] initWithContentsOfFile:@"data.json"]; NSData *jsonData = [jsonString dataUsingEncoding:NSUTF32BigEndianStringEncoding]; NSError *error = nil; NSDictionary *items = [[CJSONDeserializer deserializer] deserializeAsDictionary:jsonData error:&error]; NSLog(@"total items: %d", [items count]); NSLog(@"error: %@", [error localizedDescription]); That works fine if I have a very simple JSON object in the file (i.e. a dictionary): {"id": "54354", "name": "boohoo"} This way I was able to get access to the array of values, as I wanted to get the item based on its index within the list: NSArray *items_list = [items allValues]; NSString *name = [items_list objectAtIndex:1]; (I understand that I could have fetched the name with the dictionary API) Now I would like to deserialize a semi-complex JSON string, which represents an array of dictionaries. An example of such a JSON string is below: [{"id": "123456", "name": "touchjson"}, {"id": "3456", "name": "bleh"}] When I try to run the same code above against this new content in the data.json file, I don't get any results back. My NSLog() call says "total items: 0", and no error is coming back in the NSError object. Any clues on what is going on? I'm completely lost on what to do, as there isn't much documentation available for TouchJSON, and much less usage examples.

    It seems that the following code is not working as expected. I would assume that the following call to EnumarateFiles would only return files that match the filename pattern of c* ... however, filenames with H* are still getting returned. For example... the following file will get deleted in the following code (HNNN09060900932.xml). What's the issue? In my experience, when I specify a custom preloader using the preloader="com.foo.MyPreloader" in the Application tag, the preloader does not display until the SWF is completely downloaded, defeating the purpose of the preloader! Perhaps this is a bug in the still-beta Flex 4 framework?

  • Image cropping in PHP is producing blank result

    I'm simply trying to crop a JPEG image (no scaling) using PHP. Here is my function, along with the inputs. function cropPicture($imageLoc, $width, $height, $x1, $y1) { $newImage = imagecreatetruecolor($width, $height); $source = imagecreatefromjpeg($imageLoc); imagecopyresampled($newImage,$source,0,0,$x1,$y1,$width,$height,$width,$height); imagejpeg($newImage,$imageLoc,90); } When I call it as follows--cropPicture('image.jpg', 300, 300, 0, 0)--the function completes properly, but I'm left with a black image that is 300x300 px (in other words, a blank canvas). Am I passing in the wrong arguments? The image exists and is writeable.

    Here's the deal: I'm moving a .NET website to Python. I have a database with passwords hashed using the System.Security.Cryptography.SHA1Managed utility. I'm creating the hash in .NET with the following code: string hashedPassword = Cryptographer.CreateHash("MYHasher", userInfo.Password); The MYHasher block looks like this: <add algorithmType="System.Security.Cryptography.SHA1Managed, mscorlib, Version=2.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=blahblahblah" saltEnabled="true" type="Microsoft.Practices.EnterpriseLibrary.Security.Cryptography.HashAlgorithmProvider, Microsoft.Practices.EnterpriseLibrary.Security.Cryptography, Version=3.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=daahblahdahdah" name="MYHasher" /> So for a given password, I get back and store in the database a 48 byte salted sha1. I assume the last 8 bytes are the salt. I have tried to reproduce the hashing process in python by doing a sha1(salt + password) and sha1(password + salt) but I'm having no luck. My question to you: How are the public keys being used? How is the password rehashed using the salt. How is the salt created? (e.g., When I say saltEnabled="true", what extra magic happens?) I need specific details that don't just reference other .NET libraries, I'm looking for the actual operational logic that happens in the blackbox. Thanks!

    Our application fetches the correct database server from a pool of database servers. So each query is really 2 queries, and they look like this: Fetch the correct DB server Execute the query We do this so we can take DB servers online and offline as necessary, as well as for load-balancing. But the first query seems like it could be cached to memory, so it only actually queries the database every 5 or 10 minutes or so. What's the best way to do this? Thanks.

DataGrid which is there in the ASP.NET 1.1 having VirtualPageCount (something similar) which is set to render the pagination interface [1 2 3 4 5 ... something like this] GridView does not have the above mentioned property then how to generate the pagination UI?
