    I'm writing an open source software that is licensed under the GPL. Now I'm offering that other users can translate the software, starting from an english translation I made by myself. What license or range of license may be best for translation of text strings, dialogs, etc.? As GPL is a software license, I thought about a Creative Commons license. The goal is so that all translations remain free and may be updated by other translators.

    How to automatically close process that uses more that specified amount of memory on windows. Is it possible to specify some amount of memory (for example 1MB) and to run some executable file with those parameters? If process tries to allocate more than that amount of memory it should close and return some error value. Is there an easy way to do something like that on windows? Excuse my English.

    I have this href link with text either "attivo" or "non attivo" User can set the item to 'active' or 'closed' in the database with an ajax request $.post() I have 2 questions for these: I can't get the reference to $(this) to work.. I tried it with a normal link and it works, but not wrapped in if/else?? How can I prevent the user from clicking more than one time on the link and submitting several request? Is this a valid concern? Do I need some sort of a small timer or something? First I was thinking about a javascript confirm message, but that's pretty annoying for this function..     Hi all, I am doing some improvements to an application in vs2008 in c++. When i try to edit resources (for example add an entry in the string table), the vs2008 editor changes the rc file language from LANG_ENGLISH to LANG_NEUTRAL and a non english text is replaced with question marks. If i edit the rc file externally (in notepad), and then load it to the vs2008 it works fine. can anybody help me solve this? thanks Shimon
