    You can use DPInst (Driver Package Installer) to install driver files for your device on Windows Operating Systems. DPInst.exe is part of DIFx (Driver Install Framework tools) which comes along with the Windows Driver Kit (WDK). You can find DPInst redistributable inside the redist\DIFx\DPInst folder of the WDK. Using DPInst to install driver: 1)  http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ff553601(VS.85).aspx  2) http://blogs.technet.com/svengruenitz/archive/2008/07/02/driver-installation-and-updating-made-easy-dpinst-exe.aspx How to ? 1. Copy dpinst.exe to the folder where the driver files (sys, inf, dll) reside. 2.     I´ve made a "main" class lets call it A(Veichle), and i have two classes that inherits from A Lets call them B(Car) and C(MC). i also have a handler lets call it "D" that binds A,B and C. Then i have the Form1 class lets call that E(Visual) I want to print out the private members from A on the visual form "E" in a Listbox If i try ex) this-listbox1-items-add(X.veichles[i]-getBrand()); it complains that veichles is a private member in D. How can i get around that?

  • Tinymce print issue with application server

    Hi, I have incorporated tinymce into my application. When i execute the jsp standalone, the print size seem consistent to what it should be i.e. 12Pt comes out as 12pt. Whereas when i run the same jsp from oracle developer using oracle application server 12pt comes out to be more like 8pt. Any thoughts. Please share any pointers. Thanks, Ashok

  • Is it possible to call a user-space callback function from kernel space in Linux (ioctl)?

    Is it possible to expand the ioctl interface in Linux so that the user-space application can send a pointer to a function to the kernel space driver? I'm in particular thinking of ways to handle the stream in user-controllable way but doing it in the kernel. Those operations could be attached to the kernel module but this would make development a lot easier as I wouldn't need to mess with the kernel during development. More specifically, this would be the process: Data is read by the driver to a buffer. Data is handled by these user-defined functions in place. Some more handling is done, possibly with some HW blocks. Data is used by a user-space application.

  • Writing Device Drivers for Microcontrollers, where to define IO Port pins?

    I always seem to encounter this dilemma when writing low level code for MCU's. I never know where to declare pin definitions so as to make the code as reusable as possible. In this case Im writing a driver to interface an 8051 to a MCP4922 12bit serial DAC. Im unsure how/where I should declare the pin definitions for The CS(chip select) and LDAC(data latch) for the DAC. At the moment there declared in the header file for the driver. Iv done a lot of research trying to figure out the best approach but havent really found anything. Im basically want to know what the best practices... if there are some books worth reading or online information, examples etc, any recommendations would be welcome. I assume I have to "name" the %s and then use a dict in the params, but I'm not sure of the proper syntax? just FYI, I'm aware I can just use my_url twice in the params, but that's not the point :)
