  • Remove the complete stying of a html button/submit

    Is there a way of completely removing the styling of a button in Internet Explorer. I use a css sprite for my button, and everything looks ok. But when i click the button, it moves to the top a little, it makes it look out of shape. Is there a css click state, or mousedown? I don't know what triggers that state. I know it't not a really big deal, but sometimes it's the small things that matter.

  • Add remove class?

    Okay I have two classes for two links and two divs with different information. What I am trying to do is have it so when you click on one link it adds a 2 to both of the classes and makes the second div visable. When you click on the other link it takes off a 2 and makes the first div visable. Here is what I currently got $("#posts").click(function () { $("#sideboxtopleft").toggleClass("2"); $("#arrow").toggleClass("2"); }); Pretty much posts is the link, when when you click on it. It would make sideboxtopleft and arrow, sideboxtopleft2 and arrow2 and when you clicked on comments it would take off the 2 of both of those. Then there are two divs, one is set to hidden and I want to make it visable and set the other to hidden. Pretty much creating a tab system with changing tab classes.

  • Python: Remove items from a list while iterating in Python

    My problem is simple: I have a long list of elements that I want to iterate through and check every element against a condition. Depending on the outcome of the condition I would like to delete the current element of the list, and continue iterating over it as usual. I have read a few other threads on this matter. Two solutions seam to be proposed. Either make a dictionary out of the list (which implies making a copy of all the data that is already filling all the RAM in my case). Either walk the list in reverse (which breaks the concept of the alogrithm I want to implement). As far as I can understand, in this case it is of no use and could be removed (correct me if I'm wrong). Do I need to do anything other than delete global.asax and global.asax.cs (such as change something in web.config or in the project settings)? Just asking in order to not screw up some dependencies I'm not aware of...

    Hi, I have a quite simple scenario that I cannot get to work correctly. I have 2 views, CarView and CarWindowView (childwindow) with corresponding ViewModels. In my CarView I have an EditButton that that opens CarWindowView (childwindow) where I can edit the Car object fields. My problem is that the DisplayModule method in my CarWindowView ViewModel is getting called too many times...When I push the edit button first time its getting called once, the second time its getting called twince, the third time its getting called 3 times and so fort... !     I'm looking at building a MySQL client plugin for a proprietary product, which would violate the GPL as discussed in the FAQ at http://www.gnu.org/licenses/gpl-faq.html#NFUseGPLPlugins However, according to the MySQL FOSS License Exception ("FLE"), discussed at http://www.mysql.com/about/legal/licensing/foss-exception/, you can license an open-source product built with the client with many alternatives. The oursql library (https://launchpad.net/oursql) is BSD-licensed. Is this a valid way around the GPL? By my reading of the FLE, the only clause that refers to downstream uses of derived works is section 2.e: All works that are aggregated with the Program or the Derivative Work on a medium or volume of storage are not derivative works of the Program, Derivative Work or FOSS Application, and must reasonably be considered independent and separate works. This is the case for our product: it is not a derivative work of oursql, and in fact accesses it only via a plugin-driven interface. So is this a valid loophole?

  • Search Form in Responsive Design - Remove Search button on Mobile

    I'm working with a search box in the header of a responsive website. On desktop/tablet widths, there's a search input field and a styled 'search' button to the right. You can type in a search term and either click 'SEARCH' button or just hit enter on the keyboard with the same result. When you scale down to mobile widths, the search input field fills the width of the screen. The submit button falls below it. On a desktop, clicking the button or hitting enter activate the search. On an actual iphone phone, you can hit the 'SEARCH' button, but the native mobile keyboard that rises from the bottom of the screen has a search button where the enter/return key would normally be. It seems to know I'm in a form and the keyboard automatically gives me the option to kick off the search by basically hitting the ENTER key location....but it says SEARCH. So far so good. I figure I don't need the button in the header on mobile since it's already in the keyboard. Therefore, I'll hide the button on mobile widths and everything will be tighter and look better. So I added this to my CSS to hide it in mobile: #search-button {display: none;} But now the search doesn't work at all. On mobile, I don't get the option in the keyboard that showed up before and if I just hit enter, it doesn't work at all. On desktop at mobile width, hitting enter also not longer works. So clearly by hiding the submit/search button, the phone no longer gave me the native option to run the search. In addition, on the desktop at mobile width, even hitting enter inside the search input box also fails to launch the the search.   • Regular expression to remove all text except...

    There may be an easier way, and if there is I'm all for it. However - my ASP.NET page has a TON of controls on it, and I've given them all ID's that start with underscore. I copied all the markup into Notepad++ and I'm trying to find a regular expression that will find everything but the controls and replace it with whitespace. that way I'll have a text file that has all my control names which I'll probably throw into Excel and do some string manipulation to add ".Text = " etc. Any suggestions?

  • remove schema from linq datacontexts

    When I add stored procedures to a linq datacontext, by default visual studio prefixes the stored procedure with the sql schema that it is in. Is there any way to stop this? In our environment, the stored procedures may be moved to other schemas over time, and we will default the schema based on the sql user used to connect. Do I have to do this manually or can I somehow turn off the schema prefixes?

    The excel spreadsheet is connecting to SQL server 2005 using the connection string below: Provider=SQLOLEDB.1;Integrated Security=SSPI;Persist Security Info=True;Initial Catalog=XXXXXX;Data Source=XXXXXX;Extended Properties="HDR=No";Use Procedure for Prepare=1;Auto Translate=True;Packet Size=4096;Workstation ID=XXXXXX;Use Encryption for Data=False;Tag with column collation when possible=False It then pulls data from a view into Excel. The business user wants this information without a header row. This will allow her to review then save as a "headless" csv in SAGE file format. I attempted to alter the connection string by adding HDR=No but that hasn't worked. Additionally, I can't delete the header row. Deleting the content replaces the column names with "Column 1" etc. Any ideas appreciated!

    When Atomikos is configured via Spring, a jta.properties or transactions.properties file is not needed. Nonetheless, Atomikos starts up with the follow messages printed to stderr: No properties path set - looking for transactions.properties in classpath... transactions.properties not found - looking for jta.properties in classpath... Failed to open transactions properties file - using default values It makes it look like the Spring configuration didn't take -- although apparently everything is fine. Does anyone know how to get rid of this so I don't end up getting asked about it 1.000 times?
