I am wondering if there is an easy way to keep this popup window (span) JPicker (built on JQuery) on top of other modal windows or divs? Zindex, is there a way to make sure the zindex is always on top?
Thanks
Can someone pls tell me do we have solic & unsolic message/events in MFC or window programming?
In devices solic response and unsolic response is said as immediate response (like acknowledgement to commands) and late response (generated without any further commands being sent) respectively.
Likewise can we say events as solic / unsolic based on immediate occurrence and late occurrence?

Hey all,
I'm working on a project and I'm wondering how to get a type of window common in Windows's wireless controls, as shown in the screen shot below:
http://cybernetnews.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/10/windows-7-wireless.jpg
There's no close or maximize buttons, but the border is still present. My tools include Expression Blend 3 and Visual Studio 08. I was also wondering what the font used on these are, as it doesn't seem to be the normal Tahoma found in Office 7.
Thanks,
Mason
Very strange, I have a list of products. When a user clicks on an the image it opens up a new IE window.
Firefox doesn't do this.
What could be the reason for this?
the urls are:
http://website.example.com
and clicking on the image goes to (which is hosted on another server):
http://store.website.example.com
Could this be some internal security measure or ?
Is there something similar to "wait window nowait" in Windows Forms (.NET VS2008) ?
This is a commonly used sentence in Visual FoxPro for debugging purposes and "quick and dirty" thermometers.
I was wondering if I can customise the look and feel of the OOB window of my SL app? I want it to look different than the standard windows frame (maybe at least change the visible buttons like minimise or maximise...)

Is there a way to change the window title of my SQL Server Management Studio to display current server I'm connected to?

Maybe there's an available plug-in or something.
I can retrieve the url of current tab in firefox using
var wm = Components.classes["@mozilla.org/appshell/window-mediator;1"] .getService(Components.interfaces.nsIWindowMediator);
var mainWindow = wm.getMostRecentWindow("navigator:browser");
var tabbrowser = mainWindow.gBrowser;
var url = tabbrowser.currentURI.spec;
Now i want to do it for all tabs and save it in a string and if possible get it for tabs in the other ff windows as well. How can i do that?
Currently have an UltraToolBar displaying within a MDI child window currently all the buttons on the bar function but they do not show their tooltips when hovered over. I was wondering if anyone else may have dealt with this problem before and what they did.
I want to do a Response.Redirect("MyPage.aspx") but have it open in a new browser window. I've done this before without using the JavaScript register script method. I just can't remember how =)

Hi,
I know using External Tools options i can run a batch script or a cmd prompt. But here is what i need to do
I want to be able to call a dos prompt inside visual studio, which must be interactive. That way i won't be outside visual studio and can run all my dos commands in it. Is it possible? Or can i extend the command window and capture the commands which are typed and process them using my custom code?
Thanks

Hi!
I was wandering if it's possible to run an Ubuntu virtual machine using VirtualBox in background, I mean, without any window open.
The idea is to conect via SSH to the linux host, that would be running in background.
Have you ever done somenthing like this? Is it possible?
Thanks!

Hello.
Whenever I close OpenGL window it makes ghci console from which the app was started to immediately disappear. Is there a way to prevent this behaviour? A sample app.
Thanks.
