  • Really remove non-permanent certificate exception in firefox

    I visited japan.indymedia.org and firefox gave me the "Invalid certificate" screen. I added an exception, but did not click "Store this exception permanently." But now firefox still happily visits the same site without giving any warnings, even after a restart of the browser. I tried going to the Options-Advanced-Encryption-View Certificates-Servers to remove the certificate but I did not find it there. How to remove this exception and make firefox give me the warning when visiting the site?

    I have a dev server for my C# Web Application and to access the dev site I go to the server name in my browser (lfi-fsxmv06) and I can access my web application. Here is my question I would like to have a printer that I can print to directly from my iPhone. When I google "air print" (based off of what the iPhone says) I see HP Wireless Printers. That leads me to the question can I use the iPhone to print on any printer with wireless capabilities or does it have to be one of these HP Printers with "ePrint"?

    I'm using Arch Linux + xmonad + urxvt bundle and trying to resolve the conflict between xmonad and urxvt. Better to explain with shots: Firstly, open the terminal and get some full-length output. Secondly, create another window, which squeezes the first. And, finally, close it to find out that half of the output disappeared. Sometimes it behaves correctly, sometimes not.     I had many programs opened and was typing a message in my web browser and suddenly a window asking me something popped up. I think I was in the middle of typing the word "for" but whatever button I hit seemed to be the confirmation to shutdown the computer. Is there a way to find which program caused this and prevent it in the future? I have a hunch it was JDownloaders fault. I'm using Windows 7.

    I've setup extension mobility to the best of my ability, however, it its perplexing me... From the materials I've been reading I have established I need to have the following URL in place: http://IP/emapp/EmAppServlet?device=#DEVICENAME# If I try and browse to this in a web browser I can a blankHTML page. When my registered phone (CIPC) presses Services - Extension Mobility, it just sits there / delivers a blank page. I figure this isn't coincidence... Any ideas?

  • After exiting, the home folder cannot be visited?

    I ssh to a ubuntu sever, start a web project(Rails), then I can visit this project. I close the the ssh terminal, then the project says can not find files(view pages,css files and so on). I put the project in the home folder(/home/byht). why? When closing the ssh terminal, the user's folder can not be visited ? You know, when I put the project in another folder(/usr/local), everything goes well.

    I've noticed several articles that have claimed that QEMU is slower than VirtualBox (without hardware assistance) but several are years old, and the newest seemed to be from last year. Is it true that QEMU is slower than VirtualBox? If so why? Are there any tricks to close the performance gap? Some of my host systems do not have virtualization support so I'm especially interested in performance tips that work without the kernel module.

    I want to measure the overhead in creating a TCP connection. I know of many tools like hping and netperf, but they seem oriented at measuring latency. I want to know how long the 3-way handshake takes, and allocating any buffers, etc., and then closing it. So I want to open a real, legitimate TCP connection, and then close it. Are there any tools that will do that and help me measure performance?

  • Something remapped <C-w> in Vim, how do I reclaim it?

    I've been adding a lot of things to my Vim configuration, and apparently one of the plugins I've installed is reclaiming . Whenever I use that key combination, it shows this error: "E784: Cannot close last tab page". Is there a way to reclaim 's functionality without disabling the plugins? I mainly use it for switching between view panes in a split window.

    On a old machine (512 MB RAM) I am currently running ubuntu jaunty and firefox 3.0.15. I tried the ad blocker addon add block plus but it eats lots of RAM (300 MB). Is high memory load of this add-on a bug, which is fixed in a newer version or just normal? If so, why is the memory usage so high? Is there another ad blocker add-on for firefox or another browser- add-on combination for linux (ubuntu jaunty) which uses significant less RAM?

    I created a couple of rooms in Exchange 2007 (http://www.msexchange.org/articles_tutorials/exchange-server-2007/management-administration/managing-resource-mailboxes-exchange-server-2007-part1.html)and I want to logon to OWA to manage resource settings but I can't logon to the mailboxes via OWA because of an invalid password error. I've reset it but still no luck. I've granted myself full permissions to the mailbox and try to access via my account but I just get a popup of my own account in the browser (ie9 and ie8). What's going on here?

  • Load program to one side of monitor in Windows 7

    This is a question to enhance the feature on Windows 7, where you drag the screen to one side and it docks to that side of the screen. Is there a way to have it so when I load a program, it knows that I always like it docked on the right side, so it just loads on the right side? And I don't have to drag it to the right. It will be done for Internet Explorer, so, if there is no setting on the Shortcut for this, can it be programmed into the browser?
