  • 4 table query / join. getting duplicate rows

    So I have written a query that will grab an order (this is for an ecommerce type site), and from that order id it will get all order items (ecom_order_items), print options (c_print_options) and images (images). The eoi_p_id is currently a foreign key from the images table. This works fine and the query is: SELECT eoi_parentid, eoi_p_id, eoi_po_id, eoi_quantity, i_id, i_parentid, po_name, po_price FROM ecom_order_items, images, c_print_options WHERE eoi_parentid = '1' AND i_id = eoi_p_id AND po_id = eoi_po_id; The above would grab all the stuff I need for order #1 Now to complicate things I added an extra table (ecom_products), which needs to act in a similar way to the images table. The eoi_p_id can also point at a foreign key in this table too. I have added an extra field 'eoi_type' which will either have the value 'image', or 'product'. Now items in the order could be made up of a mix of items from images or ecom_products. Whatever I try it either ends up with too many records, wont actually output any with eoi_type = 'product', and just generally wont work. Any ideas on how to achieve what I am after? Can provide SQL samples if needed? SELECT eoi_id, eoi_parentid, eoi_p_id, eoi_po_id, eoi_po_id_2, eoi_quantity, eoi_type, i_id, i_parentid, po_name, po_price, po_id, ep_id FROM ecom_order_items, images, c_print_options, ecom_products WHERE eoi_parentid = '9' AND i_id = eoi_p_id AND po_id = eoi_po_id The above outputs duplicate rows and doesnt work as expected. Am I going about this the wrong way? Should I have seperate foreign key fields for the eoi_p_id depending it its an image or a product? Should I be using JOINs?     I am developing an image gallery plugin where in user can see the thumbnails of the uploaded pics and on hovering the NEXT and PREVIOUS arrows he can see the thumbnail of the respective images. Is it feasible to get the thumbnails of the pics automatically through code after been uploaded by admin? Suggest me the available libraries to get thumbnails of the pics where the size and shape of the pic being uploaded can be modified. The plugin should either be in C# or JQuery.

  • MacPorts / Terminal: `Unrecognized action "sudo"`

    I'm trying to install Image Magick on MAMP. And I'm seriously out of my depth. I've installed MacPorts, and opened the terminal. I've typed in sudo port -v selfupdate per the instructions on http://www.macports.org/install.php#pkg But the response I get from the Terminal is Unrecognized action "sudo" I've googled and googled, but can't find anything that makes a slab of sense. Any clever people feeling generous?

  • Symfony: Web debug toolbar icons disappeared

    Hi, Just moved a symfony project from local (win) to server (linux), and the icons in the web debug toolbar have disappeared. Only the image alts remain so I guess it's a path issue with the images. Basically, I see "Time 300ms" instead of "[icon] 300ms" for each of the items. I'm a little worried that some other paths aren't broken as well that are going to be a pain to find. Has anyone had/resolved this issue? Thank you.

    I working on a project in Obj-C where i have a base class (ViewController) and a Derived Class (MultiPlayer). Now i have declared certain variables and properties in the base class. My properties are getting accessed from the derived class but im not able to access the variables (int,char and bool type). I'm completely new to Obj-C so i have no clue whats wrong.   • Repositioning a label with mouseevents to anywhere on the screen

    I've created a label and used setPixmap to attach a .png image to the label. I've also setWindowFlags to disable the title bar and create a frameless window. Because I've disabled those, it also disables the ability to drag anything around, so I want to create mouseevents (unless there's a better method) to position my label anywhere on the screen exactly like dragging the frame of a window. How would I do that? An example and brief explanation would be greatly appreciated.
