An example: 'Years in Practice' would be the first key and the attribute SPAN_COL=3 for that element indicates it would contain '< 11 years', '11-20 years', '21-30 years' (the first grouping of string.empty = Total would be skipped).

• Cannot connect via HTTPS in Java app on MacOSX (Certificate validation issue)

  I have a java application that connects to a webservice over https. The domain where i host the webservice has a valid Goddaddy issued SSL certificate. The application works fine on Windows but on MacOSx i receive the following exception when attempting to connect to the webservice via https. sun.security.provider.certpath.SunCertPathBuilderException: unable to find valid certification path to requested target I've tested it on two machines running Mac OS X 10.7.2 with the latest java runtime updates. I understand this is usually a problem with self signed certificates that need to be added manually, but i have a valid Godaddy issued certificate. In webbrowsers (safari & firefox) on mac os the certificate is recognized and seems ok. I even tried adding the certificate to the key chain manually like in the gase of a self signed one but to no result.

Right now they are all DataTables, which isn't very space efficient (the rule of thumb is 10x increase in size when data is strored in a dataset). It works when there are less than 100 records but when it goes over 100 records the count resets for some reason. • What Can A 'TreeDict' (Or Treemap) Be Used For In Practice?

  I'm developing a 'TreeDict' class in Python. This is a basically a dict that allows you to retrieve its key-value pairs in sorted order, just like the Treemap collection class in Java. I've implemented some functionality based on the way unique indexes in relational databases can be used, e.g. functions to let you retrieve values corresponding to a range of keys, keys greater than, less than or equal to a particular value in sorted order, strings or tuples that have a specific prefix in sorted order, etc. Unfortunately, I can't think of any real life problem that will require a class like this. I suspect that the reason we don't have sorted dicts in Python is that in practice they aren't required often enough to be worth it, but I want to be proved wrong. Can you think of any specific applications of a 'TreeDict'? Any real life problem that would be best solved by this data structure? I just want to know for sure whether this is worth it.

  I have a situation similar to the following question: Insert Data Into SQL Table Where my scenario differs is that I have a non-auto-incrementing primary key field that can have a range between 1000 and 1999. We only have about a hundred values in it thus far, but the maximum value has already been taken (1999), and there are gaps in the numbering sequence. Thus, I need to find a value that is between 1000-1999 and not taken. For instance, if my current values are, for example, 1000, 1001, 1003, and 1999, I would want the query to return 1002.

  I'm looking in to Magento's filtering options (Ecommerce System and PHP Framekwork with an expansive ORM system). Specifically the addFieldToFilter method. In this method, you specify a SQLish filter by passing in a single element array, with the key indicating the type of filter. For example, array('eq'=>'bar') //eq means equal array('neq'=>'bar') //neq means not equal would each give you a where clause that looks like where field = 'bar'; where field != 'bar'; So, deep in the bowels of the source, I found a comparison type named 'moreq' that maps to a = comparison operator array('moreq'=>'27') where field >= 27 The weird thing is, there's already a 'gteq' comparision type array('gteq'=>'27') where field >= 27 So, my question is, what does moreq stand for? Is is some special SQL concept that's supported in other databases that the Magento guys wants to map to MySQL, or is it just "more required" and an example what happens when you're doing rapid agile and trying to maintain backwards compatibility.

• Is it okay if my ViewModel 'creates' bindable user controls for my View?

  I have an entry-point View with a tab control. Each tab is going to have a user control embedded within it. Each embedded view inherits from the same base class and will need to be updated as a key field on the entry-point view is updated. I'm thinking the easiest way to design this page is to have the entry-point ViewModel create and expose a collection of the tabbed views so the entry-point View can just bind to the user control elements using a DataTemplate on the tab control. Is it okay for a ViewModel to instantiate and provide UI elements for its View?

If $value = 3, that means that 600851475143 / 3 should be an integer, but its not. So I do not understand why that if() evaluates to true?

  Hi, Trying to change two relationships in our entity framework from many-to-one to many-to-many relationships. So I tried the obvious thing: clicked on each association on the diagram, changed the appropriate end of the association accordingly and then changed the name of the navigation property to a plural to reflect the change. This lead to the following build error, or one each for the two changes I've made: Error 3002: Problem in mapping fragments starting at line 1761:Potential runtime violation of table CustomerServices's keys (CustomerServices.Id): Columns (CustomerServices.Id) are mapped to EntitySet CompiledDatabaseCustomerService's properties (CompiledDatabaseCustomerService.CustomerService.Id) on the conceptual side but they do not form the EntitySet's key properties (CompiledDatabaseCustomerService.CompiledDatabase.Id, CompiledDatabaseCustomerService.CustomerService.Id) I'm not entirely sure why this is happening, so unsurprisngly I haven't had much luck fixing it.   Postgres is getting quite annoying lately. I have checked the documentation provided by Oracle and found a way to do this without dropping the table. Problem is, it errors out at modify as it does not recognize the keyword. Using EMS SQL Manager for PostgreSQL. • Is there anything like memcached, but for sorted lists?

  I have a situation where I could really benefit from having system like memcached, but with the ability to store (per each key) sorted list of elements, and modifying the list by addition of values. For example: something.add_to_sorted_list( 'topics_list_sorted_by_title', 1234, 'some_title') something.add_to_sorted_list( 'topics_list_sorted_by_title', 5436, 'zzz') something.add_to_sorted_list( 'topics_list_sorted_by_title', 5623, 'aaa') Which I then could use like this: something.get_list_size( 'topics_list_sorted_by_title' ) // returns 3 something.get_list_elements( 'topics_list_sorted_by_title', 1, 10 ) // returns: 5623, 1234, 5436 Required system would allow me to easily get items count in every array, and fetch any number of values from the array, with the assumption that the values are sorted using attached value. I hope that the description is clear. And the question is relatively simple: is there any such system?

  Hello, I am trying develop a basic referrer system to my Django website, system will be generating a unique url for each users to share with their friends. Once these friends enter this website, system somehow keep the data that "this user is browsing by the reference of X user" and once this invited person decided to register for an account, system will save this information (maybe as an extra Foreign Key of the inviting user in the UserProfile model) Now how can I keep track of the inviting user from the moment entering using the referred link to the point where he/she registers to the site. Would session framework work on this? If not how could this be done ?

• Google maps event problem with flex actionscript

  I am able to render a google map on a flex canvas. I create the map using the code below and then place markers on it in the onMapReady method (not shown) var map:com.google.maps.Map=new com.google.maps.Map(); map.id="map"; map.key="bla bla"; _mapCanvas.addChild(map); map.addEventListener(MapEvent.MAP_READY,onMapReady); It all works fine. However, if I remove the map and then set _mapCanvas to null, then run exactly the same code again, the onMapReady event does not fire. It is weird, but once a map has been created and deleted, the onMapReady event never seems to fire again. Anyone got any ideas? Thanks.

I can't find any consistent answers on the internet. I tried re-creating my ssh public key but still the same.

• Is there a good collection library for C-language?

  We have to maintain and even develop C-code of our legacy system. Is there good collection library that would support Java/C# (new versions) style collections. Hashtable, HashSet, etc. Of course without objects, but with structs. The HashTable key limitations to "strings" and ints is not a problem. It wouldn't be bad if it's free even for commercial use. I'm back to C from C# and I must say i'm depressed using our own libraries and the language in general. We're using VS2005 and MS C-compiler if that has nothing to do with anything. • mysql does not utilize my cpu and ram enough?

  Hello Everyone! I am importing a 2.5gb csv file to a mysql table. My storage engine is innodb.
