I like that Feedburner can do some basic analytics and tracking. But I have also had (in the past) problems with Feedburner. Is there a self-hosted solution out there that is roughly equivalent?
Where, in Windows, is this icon stored? I need to use it in a TaskDialog emulation for XP and am having a hard time tracking it down.
It's not in shell32.dll, explorer.exe, ieframe.dll or wmploc.dll (as these contain a lot of icons commonly used in Windows).
is there an inbuilt method of tracking if a bundle has already been loaded? I have several edit views which forexample require jquery and jquery.Validate etc libraries. Which i don't need to reference on the main layout page.
Since a page could consist of several different conditional libraries ... ideally i would like @scripts.Render to know if i have already referenced a library and prevent its reloading.
Cheers
Tim
HI!
I've been trying to get a PyGTK Progress Bar working by tracking the progress of rsync. TO rsync I'm using commands.getstatusoutput.
Does anyone has an idea how to track the progress of rsync and display it on the PyGTK progress bar?
Thank you!
I have a small snippet of code that does some work on a cookie on every page load.
(It's for affiliate tracking if you want to know why)
Where do I put this so it runs every every time a drupal page is loaded
Would it be possible to create a handle ( or a tracking handle ) to a class' property ? For instance,
System::Windows::Forms::CheckBox^ Box = gcnew System::Windows::Forms::CheckBox()
I'd like to create a handle to its Checked property and use it to access and modify the same.
Hi all
I have a program that creates a small file in the Bin directory for the purpose of tracking a license (that's the intention), all works fine when debugging but I've just realized that when I run it on a IIS server under the anonymous user account (IUSR) the file isn't created as IUSR only has read permission (I know this is correct but drat!).
Can I write to another location under IUSR account or can I run my code under 'Local Service' account?
Thanks
Hi,
I would like know how this feature is implemented in VS - I understand it holds some sort of weak-reference to the object in the debugged-application's memory, but how exactly is it accomplished?
I know simply tracking the address (as in native code) wouldn't work, because the GC might move the object about, invalidating the address.
Thanks.
Hi,
I've been working with a Legacy application which interacts with a database through ADODB, and most of the changes to records follow a fairly straightforward pattern of:
Create a Recordset from a query
Make various change to the recordset
call .Update on the recordset.
What I'm wondering is, with ADODB recordsets, is there anyway to extract the 'changes'. The logic which changes the recordset is scattered about, and all I need is the changes, not how it was changed...
Any suggestions for tracking changes in a recordset (in code, a trigger on the DB or similar is no use here)
Thanks in advance
I'd like to script p4 a little. Unfortunately, some of the filenames that we're tracking have "@" in the filename.
The filenames are in the form [email protected]. If I try to do something like p4 sync a\@b.xml on a mac (or p4 sync [email protected] on windows) it gives the error:
Invalid changelist/client/label/date '@b.xml'
Is there another way to escape it that perforce will recognize?
i am tracking the mouse movements of a user using javascript and storing it along with the browser resolution.
Then i can check the user mouse movement in my browser which is 1024 x 768 resolution.
But if the user is using a browser in 800 x 600 then the mouse movements are recorded wrt 800 x 600. And when i see the mouse movements in 1024 x 768 the mouse movements are wrong.
So how can i scale from 800 x 600 to 1024x 768?
How can I determine the current transform that's being applied by an html5 canvas.
It seems that it only supports two methods for dealing with transforms "transform", "setTransform" but I can't seem to discover the results of applying the transforms.
Short of tracking them all myself and duplicating the the matrix mathematics that it must be doing natively, how can I figure out the current transform?
Hi i have a web application where i plant a cookie on my page. Then the user goes to another page, and from that page calls my page from a script, like this:
<script type="text/javascript" src="http://domain.com/page.aspx?id=6" ></script>
But i cant access the cookie when it calls my page, why not? and how to work around it?
Please note that this question is in relation to:

I want to find a method like isNodeExpanded() to check if a given JTree node is expanded or not, but I can not find it.
I know I can do this by tracking the node expansion with the TreeExpansionListener. Is there a better way?
Hi,
Can anyone recommend a good FREE shipping application where I can get rates from different courier services, and perform tracking of packages.
If there aren't any free ones, do the courier services themselves have API's or webservices of their own? We were thinking of creating an ASP.NET web application in C# that got quotes from FedEx, Purolator, and Canada Post for a specified package.
Any help/suggestions are welcome
Thank you
I've got a piece of tracking code which is capturing REMOTE_HOST, SERVER, REQUEST_METHOD, SCRIPT_NAME and QUERY_STRING. It grabs these from ServerVariables and sticks them in a database by user and IP.
What is the best way to pick up the exact contents of what was posted back to a URL in ASP.NET? Is there an HTTP_POST? I'd rather not grab something and then have to parse it.
I am looking for some good asp.net sample applications which use Entity Framework. I saw a couple apps for NorthWind (one was MVC based). Looking for one with is more sophisticated than the simple apps at MSDN (HRSkillsCombined, CourseManager,AdWksSalesWinDataBind, ResearchCollaborationAssistant). Possibly using Entity Inheritance, multi table change tracking.. etc.
Can anyone recommend decent software that could replace a physical whiteboard, as used in Agile development?
I've had a look at http://www.brightgreenprojects.com/ but ideally we'd like something we could host ourselves. We use Jira for issue tracking, and are looking at integrating GreenHopper for project management at the moment.
The general feeling among users so far seems to be that GreenHopper is a little clunky. Is there a more straight-forward agile whiteboard software tool out there?
I know NAnt sees frequent use (well, I always use it for my CI builds) but there has been no new official release since December 2007. Is the project receiving active development any more or is it dead-pooled? It worries me that if I carry on using it, and it stops tracking the latest version of .NET, I'll eventually be left with a massive job when it comes to upgrading systems to a version of the framework that it can't build.
Has everyone else gone over to some other tool like MSBuild these days?
Where I work, we use Bugzilla extensively for bug and feature tracking. We take advantage of the built in milestones to help us manage our timelines better, but sometimes priorities shift and milestones need to be rearranged. During this time we use the "change several bugs at once" feature to move them around, but the result is a ton of bugspam for everyone involved (except the person actually doing the changing, of course).
Is there any way to easily turn off emails if many bugs are being changed at once?
Hi
Is there a simple way of tracking the change of an Mdi's children i.e. when they are created and closed, something like an event OnMdiChildListChanged (I realise this doesn't actually exist).
I am also aware that I could have a method within my Mdi that handles the creation of child forms and logs the state of them or even create an Interface that defines that a child form has a "NotifyParent" method that is then called on close of the form, but i was wondering if there was any built in events that i could plumb into?
Thanks
Does anyone know with what I can draw a unfilled square on a live video stream/saved video in C#.net?
Someone said to use Directshow but it is for C++ users. Is there a feature in dshownet that addresses this issue ?
Another said to use XNA, but my project is a object tracking application.
Hi,
I need to keep a link tracking for an email message. I am using PHP and IMAP. I need some ID that identify the email over time. Using IMAP UID does not seems to work since the UID changes after expunge(), i know there is a message_id for emails, but how can i retrieve an email using it's message_id with PHP and IMAP?
Is there another identifier i can use?
