  • Auto-Completion in Unix VI editor

    Hey guys, after using graphical IDE's like Visual Studio, I'm used to pressing CTRL+Space to auto-complete a variable or function name. Now, I know such a thing isn't completely possible in VI, but I heard there was a list of commands that could be mapped that allowed automatic completion of variables and functions in the current file opened. Does anyone know what this sequence is? Thanks in advance.

    hi everybody, i'm working on google maps in specifically on geometry controls the point is, in this example when I click in line or polygon infowindow show up, but the language is english (by default I think) can I change the language? in the tooltips i can replace the text, but in this particular case i have no place do replace it, this let me thinking that "language" is automatic, i'm wrong? best regards

    I have made an ActiveX control and have made its .cab file for automatic installation on client machine using Internet Explorer.. It working fine of Windows XP, but on windows Vista and Windows 7 its installation is blocked by UAC (User account control), and when I disable it, all things works fine... I have signed my .cab file with a certificate for development enviornment... What is the way to over come this problem.. I don't want to tell users to disable their UAC module...

  • How can I prevent ListBox from selecting an item when I right-click it?

    The tricky part is that each item has a ContextMenu that I still want to open when it is right-clicked (I just don't want it selecting it). In fact, if it makes things any easier, I don't want any automatic selection at all, so if there's some way I can disable it entirely that would be just fine. I'm thinking of just switching to an ItemsControl actually, so long as I can get virtualization and scrolling to work with it.

I have an link which animates some div-s height when its hovered... but div has big height and it goes beyond the visible bottom end of the screen so i have to scroll to see the data and when i scroll I leave the hover area and so the div toggles it's height to 0px... how to make automatic scroll to the end of the div when it toggles...   • intercepting http traffic to/from Google Chrome

    I use Fiddler for intercepting HTTP traffic when using IE or Firefox. Now that I'm using chrome for most of my day, I would like to be able to see the http traffic using something like Fiddler. What do chrome developers use ? I prefer something automatic like Fiddler but something that needs config, etc would also help. P.S : I'm on windows vista 64-bit HOME PREMIUM, if that's important.

    Hi, Is it possible to stop the automatic preventDefault() from applying in a simple Jquery toggle function? $(".mydiv").toggle( function () { $(this).addClass("blue"); }, function () { $(this).removeClass("blue"); } ); The above prevents elements inside the div from responding normally to the click.     Coming from a .NET background I'm use to reusing string variables for storage, so is the code below likely to cause a memory leak? The code is targeting OS X on the iphone/itouch so no automatic GC. -(NSString*) stringExample { NSString *result = @"example"; result = [result stringByAppendingString:@" test"]; // where does "example" go? return result; } What confuses me is an NSStrings are immutable, but you can reuse an 'immutable' variable with no problem.

But after doing some stuff like changing comment pages or deleting (all using ajax), a few old timers keep running, even though I used clearTimeout before loading new ajax content. Is there some way to clear ALL javascript timers when I load new ajax content?
