  I am binding an object of other class to a silverlight list box itemsource.I want to fire the click event of a button,but I don't want to define command under this class. I have defined other class and have defined command inside it. Now the question is how to bind the command of this class to the command property of that button. There are two classes A and B I am binding the item source of a listbox to A and i have defined a command in B and i need this command to bind with the button present inside the listbox.(ie..listbox-listboxitem-button) Is there any way to bind to a property outside of the current data context?

  I did a system test on a new ASP.NET app. I encountered several exceptions when using the BACK button in my browser (IE 7). I stated in a review-record that the web-app must support the use of a BACK button (or at least handle it gracefully with for example session-time out warnings). The teamlead did not agree with me as he stated that a web-app should not support working with the back-button by default. Do you agree?

  Hi, I have an application that has a tabBar that handles all the views. In the first view I have a login process. When that process finishes I want to go automatically to the second tabBar view without making the user to click in its respective tabBar button. All I've got until now is to highlight the button with this: myTabBar.selectedItem = [myTabBar.items objectAtIndex:1]; But I have no idea about how to bring the second view related to that button to the front, automatically. Until now the user has to press the button when it gets lighted (selected). Any idea about how to do this? Is it possible? It would be much appreciated. Thanks.

• Passing more than one argument in asp.net button in gridview

  I have a TemplateField column in a gridview with a button inside of it. There is NO key value (surely that was not designed by me) , but in the other hand there aren't redundancies when comparing each single column, because they are events, and there is "starting date" and "ending date" of something that could not happen twice at the same time. I've already figured selecting with these values and all, but I just want the button to pass about five arguments to a given function. I've tested: <asp:Button CommandArgument='<%# Eval("day")%>' ID="Button2" runat="server" Text="Button" /> And it works properly, the day of the clicked row is passed, and could be retrieved through: e.CommandArgument.ToString(); in the GridView_RowCommand handler. How do I pass more than one argument? I've thought about concatenating with a separating character (wouldn't be that bad) but besides not knowing how to do it yet (didn't want to invest in a poor solution) I want a smarter one.

• User Mode Linux - Installing a module error

  I am trying to run 'make' on a module in User Mode Linux to install a simple makefile. Here is my make file: obj-m := hello.o KDIR := /lib/modules/$(shell uname -r)/build PWD := $(shell pwd) default: $(MAKE) -C $(KDIR) SUBDIRS=$(PWD) modules When I run this in User Mode Linux I get the following error: make[1]: Entering directory /lib/modules/2.6.28/build' make[1]: *** No rule to make targetmodules'. Stop. make[1]: Leaving directory `/lib/modules/2.6.28/build' make: * [default] Error 2 The problem is that no files are present under /lib/modules/. There's no directory for 2.6.28 or build. From what I've read, these should be symlinks to /usr/src, but under /usr/src, I don't see any files under that either.

  When I Press F5 on my VS2005 to debug the application, it launches the web app window but it is coming out of debug mode. When I tried to trace the Error in the EventViewer, this was the error: Failed in Token.vb(GetToken). The token was not in memory and the identity of the authenticated IIS caller was not permitted. The session may have unexpectedly terminated. The specific error message included: Session state can only be used when enableSessionState is set to true, either in a configuration file or in the Page directive. Please also make sure that System.Web.SessionStateModule or a custom session state module is included in the \\ section in the application configuration. I don't have any httpModules section in my config file and the sessionState mode="InProc"...

  I have a form with TextBox and two Buttons. One button has IsDefault property set to true, and IsCancel set to true for other button. TextBox is CommandTarget for both buttons. When I'm pressing Enter or ESC keys on TextBox, it works as I'm pressing on corresponding button. I want to remove buttons from the form. They should not be visible, but the textbox should react on Enter or ESC as before. I cannot just set button's Visible property to collapsed - in this case they does not work at all. And I prefer to avoid of tracking keyboard events. Is it possible?

• C# Exception when retrieving rows from a datagrid in virtual mode

  Hi all, I keep getting an exception (see below) when I retrieve a list of rows from a Virtual Mode datagrid, this only happens when I have more rows than I can display on screen and it doesn't happen every time. Is there anything I'm missing with regards to virtual mode? Update The image below shows the problem, the index is now outside the list range. The reason for this is say I have 10 items and I hide 5 as they are not needed and I want to run some code on the 5 that are visible, there are now 5 items but the index of some maybe between 5-9, how can I re-index? When I have run some code on the visible 5 I then show the hidden 5 so I don't want to disgard these, I'd need to reindex again when they are all visible. Many thanks.

Am I not allowed to pass values to the server from an OnClick event?

• compiling a program to run in DOS mode

  I write a simple program, to run in DOS mode. Everything works under emulated console in Win XP / Vista / Seven, but not in DOS. The error says: this program caonnot be run in DOS mode. I wonder is that a problem with compiler flags or something bigger. For programming i use Code::Blocks v 8.02 with such settings for compilation: -Wall -W -pedantic -pedantic-errors in Project \ Build options \ Compiler settings I've tried a clean DOS mode, booting from cd, and also setting up DOS in Virtual Machine. The same error appears. Should i turn on some more compiler flags ? Some specific 386 / 486 optimizations ? UPDATE Ok, i've downloaded, installed and configured DJGPP. Even resolved some problems with libs and includes. Still have two questions. 1) i can't compile a code, which calls _strdate and _strtime, i've double checked the includes, as MSDN says it needs time.h, but still error says: _strdate was not declared in this scope, i even tried to add std::_strdate, but then i have 4, not 2 errors sazing the same 2) the 2nd code is about gotoxy, it looks like that: #include <windows.h> void gotoxy(int x, int y) { COORD position; position.X = x; position.Y = y; SetConsoleCursorPosition(GetStdHandle(STD_OUTPUT_HANDLE), position); } error says there is no windows.h, so i've put it in place, but then there are many more errors saying some is missing from windows.h, I SUPPOSE it won't work because this functions is strictly for windows right ? is there any way to write similar gotoxy for DOS ? UPDATE2 1) solved using time(); instead of _strdate(); and _strtime(); here's the code time_t rawtime; struct tm * timeinfo; char buffer [20]; time ( &rawtime ); timeinfo = localtime ( &rawtime ); strftime (buffer,80,"%Y.%m.%d %H:%M:%S\0",timeinfo); string myTime(buffer); It now compiles under DJGPP. UPDATE3 Still need to solve a code using gotoxy - replaced it with some other code that compiles (under DJGPP). Thank You all for help. Just learnt some new things about compiling (flags, old IDE's like DJGPP, OpenWatcom) and refreshed memories setting DOS to work :--)

• Sharepoint 2007: Disabling Edit/Read Only mode?

  If I open a doc in read only mode I'm able to press save and then it opens up a save as box and the default directory is the directory on the sharepoint server and if you press save you save it to the server. This actually makes the whole process not really "read only" mode since I could actually update the document. Is there a way to prevent this from happening so that if someone chooses read only there is no way possible to updload any changes back to the sharepoint site? Also, it has been suggested as a solution to get rid of the edit/read only option so that people have to check out the document. Is there a way to remove the edit/read only option on documents?

  Hello, I'm trying to present some UIModalFormSheets in a my iPad application. It's working without any problems, except one thing: When I have my iPad in landscape mode my modal form sheet is moving to the center of the screen and THEN rotates into the appropiate angle. All I want is to present the modal form sheet in the right angle according to the view mode (portrait or landscape), BEFORE it is displayed, so that the user doesn't see this rotation. I have tried all the modes for modalTransitionStyle and modalPresentationStyle, but nothing seems to prevent the modal form sheet from rotating after it is displayed. This is what I'm doing: NewFavouriteSheet *newFavouriteSheet = [[NewFavouriteSheet alloc] initWithNibName:@"NewFavouriteSheet" bundle:nil]; newFavouriteSheet.modalPresentationStyle = UIModalPresentationFormSheet; [self presentModalViewController:newFavouriteSheet animated:NO]; Does anyone has a suggestion on how to show the modal view in a correct way?   Hi all, I am working on a big form and it contains a lot of buttons all over the form, therefore I am trying to get working input[type="button"] in my main css file so it would catch all buttons with out having to add a class to every single one, for some reason this is not working on IE7, after checking on the web it says that IE7 should be supporting this. Also it has to be type="button" and not type="submit" as not all buttons will submit the form. Could anybody give a hint what am I doing wrong? input[type="button"]{ text-align:center; } I have also tried input[type=button] Any help would be very much apreciated.

Now I would like to show a transparent overlay (popup window) with the description of the markers after I clicked on a bar button with a button to close the overlay again and show the markers (which are set in the background).   I'm having a very specific "bug" in my iPhone application. I'm setting two images for the highlighted and normal states of a button. It works as expected when you "press" and then "touch up" at a slow pace, but if you click/tap it quickly, there's a noticeable flicker between states. Is this a known bug or am I setting the states incorrectly?
