  • Error compiling Visual Studio 2010 EditorClassifier Extension Template

    I'm trying to create an Editor Classifier Template project and run it. When I attempt to build I get an error message stating: "Error trying to read the VSIX manifest file 'extension.vsixmanifest'. Exception has been thrown by target of invocation." Any thoughts? I've tried googling this but didn't have any luck. I am working with Visual Studio 2010 Ultimate and the VS 2010 SDK Beta 1. Thanks, Nick

  • Extending Django Flatpages to accept template tags

    I use django flatpages for a lot of content on our site, I'd like to extend it to accept django template tags in the content as well. I found this snippet but after much larking about I couldn't get it to work. Am I correct in assuming that you would need too "subclass" the django flatpages app to get this to work? Is this best way of doing it? I'm not quite sure how to structure it, as I don't really want to directly modify the django distribution.

  • Cannot find CFML template for custom tag

    Hi folks, I am not a ColdFusion coder. Doing a favor for a friend who ported his CF site from a Windows server to Unix on GoDaddy. Site is displaying error: Cannot find CFML template for custom tag jstk. ColdFusion attempted looking in the tree of installed custom tags but did not find a custom tag with this name. The site as I found it has at document root /CustomTags with the jstk.cfm file and a set of files in cf_jstk My Googling located this You must store custom tag pages in any one of the following: The same directory as the calling page; The cfusion\CustomTags directory; A subdirectory of the cfusion\CustomTags directory; A directory that you specify in the ColdFusion Administrator So I have Tried creating placing /CustomTags in /cfusion/CustomTags Tried copying /cfusion/CustomTags to above document root Tried copying jstk.cfm and subfolders into same directory as calling file(index.cfm). Update: Per GoDaddy support I have also tried adding the following to no effect: Can any one give me some tips on this or should I just tell my guy to look for a CF coder? Thanks! JG

    Hey, I'm trying to write a SAX parser for an XHTML document that I download from the web. At first I was having a problem with the doctype declaration (I found out from here that it was because W3C have intentionally blocked access to the DTD), but I fixed that with: XMLReader reader = parser.getXMLReader(); reader.setFeature("http://apache.org/xml/features/disallow-doctype-decl",true); However, now I'm experiencing a second problem.     I would like to display a Drupal view without the page template that normally surrounds it - I want just the plain HTML content of the view's nodes. This view would be included in another, non-Drupal site. I expect to have to do this with a number of views, so a solution that lets me set these up rapidly and easily would be the best - I'd prefer not to have to create a .tpl.php file every time I need to include a view somewhere.

I've checked the folder: C:\Program Files\Microsoft Visual Studio 9.0\Common7\IDE\ProjectTemplates\CSharp\SmartDevice\1033 It contains several project templates: SmartDeviceClassLibrary SmartDeviceConsoleApplication SmartDeviceEmptyProject SmartDeviceWindowsApplication SmartDeviceWindowsControlLibrary None of those are shown on my IDE. How can I use one of those project templates?

  • Outlook, Word, and normal.dot (2003 Edition)

    I have one user that for some reason has been having macro issues with her normal.dot file. At first the fix was just remove the file because she isn't actually needing to save anything. This was really a temp fix. We found out that for some reason every time she opened up word it was trying to modify normal.dot but not asking. I set it up to ask so at least we could control the changes going on to normal.dot. There was one file disabled in Word that we enabled because it was a document she never used anymore, making us think that maybe that was the issue. We have automatic antivirus updates and scans so there is little chance of a virus. The issue has stopped as far as just using Word itself. She can open, close, edit, save, etc and never get the dialog. In Outlook however if she clicks reply or forward to an e-mail but decides not to send it, and just close it. She gets the pop up to save changes to normal.dot. This leads me to believe something in outlook about how she is setup to use Word as an e-mail editor is causing the problem. Am I even on the right track here? Short form: Word works fine with normal.dot, as an Outlook mail editor wants to change normal.dot. No idea what to do.

  • LaTeX printing only first two pages of a document

    I am working in LaTeX, and when I create a pdf file (using LaTeX button or pdfLaTeX button or using yap) the pdf has only the first two pages. No errors. It just stops. If I make the first page longer by adding text, it still stops at end of 2nd page. Any ideas?     I'm trying to create a macro to be used in Microsoft Word 2007 that will search a document for multiple keywords (string variables) located in an external Excel file (the reason for having it in an external file is that the terms will often be changed and updated). I've figured out how to search a document paragraph by paragraph for a single term and color every instance of that term, and I assumed that the proper method would be to use a dynamic array as the search term variable. The question is: how do I get the macro to create an array containing all the terms from an external file and search each paragraph for each and every term? When I attempt to import it, I receive confirmation that it was successfully imported. However, it does not show up in the list of available templates.   • Debugging T4 Template in VS 2010 Crashes IDE

    I'm trying to debug a slightly-modified version of the ADO.NET POCO Entity Generator template using the directions Oleg Sych published a few years back. I modified the DbgJITDebugLaunchSetting key as recommended. I get a dialog indicating that a user-defined breakpoint has been hit. However, rather than being presented with the option to start a new instance of VS 2010 to debug, the original instance of VS 2010 just crashes and auto-restarts. Is it possible to debug T4 templates with VS 2010?

I tried John's micro-templating but ran into a few issues, wanted to see if there are more baked / better packaged solutions out there.
