    So, I set the closing function for simple modal as follows: $.modal.defaults.onClose = function (dialog) { $.validationEngine.closePrompt(".formError",true); dialog.data.fadeOut('slow', function () {}); dialog.container.fadeOut('slow', function () {}); dialog.overlay.fadeOut('slow', function () { $.modal.close(); }); } The line where the validationengine closes prompts basically just makes some divs disappear. The problem is that I don't want things to start fading out until closePrompt() is complete. Is there a way to do that? Is the only way with a "callback"? I don't think it has that built in to the function. Any other way to do it?

    I have the following compiled query that I want to return a list of "groups" that don't have a "GroupID" that's contained in a filtered list: CompiledQuery.Compile(ConfigEntities contexty, List list) = from c in context.Groups where (!csList.Contains(c.GroupID)) select c).ToList() However I'm getting the following run-time error: The specified parameter 'categories' of type 'System.Collections.Generic.List`1[[System.Int32, mscorlib, Version=2.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=b77a5c261364e126]]' is not valid. Only scalar parameters (such as Int32, Decimal, and Guid) are supported. Any ideas?

But I'm looking for better (or possibly well known?) score-creeping functions. Any one?

  • not being able to access any sudo function on my pc

    Hi, I am not being to access any functions in my desktop and I don't have an OS besides Ubuntu 10.04 Lucid Linux and I am new to ubuntu. I think I rebooted my computer thinking that Google Chrome crashed. I opened Google Chrome but it showed opening message but never opened so I restarted my computer. and when my system was loading ('i was playing with keyboard dont know what I typed') and when by ubutnu loaded, I was unable to access anything some of characteristics are listed below I cannot hear any sound I cannot access wired ethernet connection on the right corner where I usually enable to access interne and I have no internet. There is no local apache server either. when ever I try to start apacer I get setuid must be root or something. When I type sudo then I get message setuid must be root. I cannot access orther external storage devices like pendrive and portable hard drive and cannot mount my other drives with FAT32 filesystem. When I try to start my apache webserver with out typing sudo then I get message cannnot open socket or something like it. EDIT:: i remember also doing command chown -R www-data / earlier and got error message EDIT:: and i cannot shutdown my computer, it only logs off

    I have tried many different players searching for one with a specific feature that I would think would be easy. Simply, I want to play MP3 primarily. I would like to play a radio stream on Thursdays from 11:00 am until 12:00 pm, then return to playing MP3. Also, because I am in the Husker state, I would like to program another stream to start at game time on Saturdays and end several hours later, resuming my MP3 play until 11:00 am Thursday.     Hi, I'm working on a small academic research about extremely long and complicated functions in the Linux kernel. I'm trying to figure out if there is a good reason to write 600 or 800 lines-long functions. For that purpose, I would like to find a tool that can extract a function from a .c file, so I can run some automated tests on the function. For example, If I have the function cifs_parse_mount_options() within the file connect.c, I'm seeking a solution that would roughly work like: extract /fs/cifs/connect.c cifs_parse_mount_options and return the 523 lines of code(!) of the function, from the opening braces to the closing braces. Of course, any way of manipulating existing software packages like gcc to do that, would be most helpful too. Thanks, Udi EDIT : The answers to Regex to pull out C function prototype declarations? convinced me that matching function declaration by regex is far from trivial.
