    Hi all, I have a fairly simple question: In Javascript how can I return the boolean (if its found in the JSON) rather than the actual value? Example: var myJSON = { "foo" : "bar", "bar" : "foo" }; var keyToLookFor = "foo"; var found = myJSON[keyToLookFor]; if (found) { // I know I can test if the string exists in the if } // but is there a way I could just return something like: return found; // instead of testing found in the if statement and then returning true?

  • question about python sched schedular.

    I have read about python sched (task schedular), it works like a cron. but I have a question : lets say if i schedule a function to ryn after every 2 hours and in the mean time my system gets shut down, then I again restart the system...did the schedular automatically starts and will run the function after 2 hours? or i have to start that again after shutting down the system? did sched work like a deamon?

    I've been playing around to see how my computer works under the hood. What I'm interested in is seeing is what happens on the stack inside a function. But the local variables are a bit wonky. My question is, why wouldn't these be the same? The second call seems to produce a more compact and better aligned stack. Looking at the ASM is unenlightening (at least to me), as the variable addresses are still aliased there. So I guess this is really a question about the assembler itself allocates the stack to local variables. I realise that any specific answer is likely to be platform specific. I'm more interested in a general explanation unless this quirk really is platform specific. For the record though, I'm compiling with VS2010 on a 64bit Intel machine.

At the moment I'm modifying the Lightbox2 module, so I cannot update it anymore, so I know it is not the best practice. I would like to use use actors to make some (external) calls with each value, in parallel. I would like to wait until all values have been processed, and then proceed.     In the 5/15 minute scrum meeting the 3 questions are asked. For the last question "what impediments are getting in your way" If a dev has problems - the xyz is going to have problems, this is likely going to draw the meeting out past 15 mins and could go into a hour long discussion. Is it the scrum masters job to help this user, is there something to stop this from going on more than 15 mins. Thoughts?

    Very quick question for freshbooks oauth. When requesting a Request Token you need to provide (amoung others) the oauth_signature method. Is the signature the consumer key and the consumer secret seperated by an ampersand? e.g. _consumer_key_%26_consumer_secret_ where _consumer_key_ is the consumer key. _consumer_secret_ is the consumer secret and %26 is a urlencode ampersand.
