  • loading js files dynamically via another js file?

    Hi there, is there anyway to load other JS files from within a single JS file. I would like to point my individual pages "ITS" js file and that js file would load jquery, other js files. I know i can just pop all these into the html i.e. I was thinking of separations of concerns so i was wondering if anything exists already without me reinventing the wheel.... That i would just need to edit home.js to change what other js (jquery etc) are loaded for home.htm ... home.htm would just point to home.js Thanks

However, here Selenium terminates test execution with the following exception: com.thoughtworks.selenium.SeleniumException: XHR ERROR: URL = http://user:[email protected]/admin Response_Code = 403 Error_Message = Forbidden Any way to work around that?

  • Loading Liferay Properties from Spring IoC container (to get jdbc connection parameters)

    I'm developing some portlets for Liferay Portal 5.2.3 with bundled tomcat 6.0.18 using Spring IoC container. I need to map the User_ table used in Liferay database to an entity with Hibernate, so I need to use two different dataSources to separate the liferay db from the db used by portlets. My jdbc.properties has to hold all connection parameters for both databases: no problem for the one used by portlets, but I am having issues determining which database uses liferay to hold its data. My conclusion is that i should have something like this: liferayConnection.url=jdbc:hsqldb:${liferay.home}/data/hsql/lportal in order to get the database url dynamically loaded, according to Liferay properties found in portal-ext.properties. (Or, better, load the whole portal-ext.properties and read database properties from there). The problem is that the placeholder is not resolved: Caused by: org.springframework.beans.factory.BeanDefinitionStoreException: Invalid bean definition with name 'liferayDataSource' defined in class path resource [WEB-INF/applicationContext.xml]: Could not resolve placeholder 'liferay.home' To dodge this problem I tried to load explicitly portal-ext.properties with a Spring bean: <bean id="liferayPropertiesConfigurer" class="org.springframework.beans.factory.config.PropertyPlaceholderConfigurer" p:location="../../portal-ext.properties"/> but no luck: liferay.home is not resolved but there aren't other errors. How can I resolve the placeholder defined by Liferay? Thanks

On click "Call Batch", the "child page" is loaded in div of "parent page" using javascript without refresh! Now this "Child Page" contains a label and a button. On click of button the text of label shoud change. I want the functionality of "child page" on "parent page". I got the "child page" in "parent page" div but the functionality of "child page" is lost and i am getting error.Where to put the code of button click event which changes the text of label? Please Help.

  • Jersey / ServletContext and resource loading on startup.

    Hello, I'm kind of new in web development with Java. I am developing a web service and I've chosen REST / Jersey for it. I want to init some stuff on startup of the service and to keep them all along the life of the service. First question : Is the constructor of the Jersey Servlet a good place to do that ? Basically, what I want to do is to load a config.ini file located in my WEB-INF directory. Following this help, I understand I need a ServletContext to load my file as a resource. However, it is not clear to me how to get this ServletContext in a Jersey Servlet, as it is not really an instance of a servlet, but rather a POJO with some annotations. I wanted to try this tip, but the attribute "context" is null in the constructor. I think that Jersey might populate it after the constructor. Right ? So how is the right way to do this ?     in a J2EE app if user explicitly takes out the the ending page name then what is the best way to not show the directory structure? Example: /mycoolapp/somefolder/test.jsp /mycoolapp/somefolder/ -- this will show all the files under 'somefolder' What is the best way to redirect or show the user a page saying 'not where you belong'. I want to avoid providing index.jsp in all the folders/subfolders of my application. Appserver being used is GlassFish. Also the app is using Struts2 framework, though not all of the code is in struts2. Some code is using traditional Servlets

  • Stop UITextView from jumping when programatically setting text

    Hi there, I have to update a small amount of text in a scrolling UITextView. I'll only be inserting a character where the cursor currently is, and I'll be doing this on a press of a button on my navigation bar. My problem is that whenever I call the setText method of the text view, it jumps to the bottom of the text. I've tried using contentOffset and resetting the selectedRange but it doesn't work! Here's my example: // Remember offset and selection CGPoint contentOffset = [entryTextView contentOffset]; NSRange selectedRange = [entryTextView selectedRange]; // Update text entryTextView.text = entryTextView.text; // Try and reset offset and selection [entryTextView setContentOffset:contentOffset animated:NO]; [entryTextView setSelectedRange: selectedRange]; Is there any way you can update the text without any scroll movement at all... as if they'd just typed something on the keyboard?     Hello everyone, I ran into a bit of trouble while trying to load an external HTML page into a div using jQuery-ajax. I had this div: <div id="content"></div> and wanted to fill it with $("#content").load("include/add.html"); It loads the HTML file perfectly, but inside that add.html is a button that should load add2.html(also using .load), but it seems that neither the button nor the datepicker in that file won't work. I'm guessing the .load function is responsible for that?   • How to stop SWF inside of a jQuery UI tab from reloading

    I have a SWF movie inside of a jQuery UI tab, and the problem I'm having is that the SWF gets reloaded everytime I click away from the tab, onto another tab, and then click back. I can inspect the DOM and see that the div containing the SWF is still in the DOM when I click away, so I don't know why this it seems to reload it when I click back to the tab. I added the following CSS rules to try to prevent the display being set to: none, but the Flash movie is still reloading: .ui-tabs .ui-tabs-hide { display: block !important; position: absolute; left: -10000px; }

  • jTabbedPane opens different tab on loading

    Hey mates, First of all I'm using netbeans as my IDE and I don't know if this is causing it. When I run my program (even if I have build it and run the .jar) I think it selects the tab that was previously selected (before quiting). So if for example I close the app with the third tab selected, it starts up with that selected again. Is there a known solution for this? The selectedIndex property on the jTabbedPane is set to 0. Shouldn't this property be the default onLoad value? Thx in advance, Jimmy PS. BTW for some reason it didn't submit my question in Opera (?)

You see I want to ssh into another computer and use their environment not drag my environment using pexpect. Can anyone suggest how to get this working or an alternative way. Thanks

    Hey all, I'm looking into a project that would upload custom NSBundles that include a NSViewController. In my main program I've got this code to deal with the bundle after it's been loaded... id principalClass = [loadedBundle principalClass]; id instance = [[principalClass alloc] init]; [localLabel setStringValue:[instance name]]; NSView *incomingView = [[instance viewController] view]; [localView addSubview:incomingView]; [localView display]; And the principal classes init method in the bundle looks like this... -(id) init { if(self = [super init]){ name = @"My Plugin"; viewController = [[ViewController alloc] initWithNibName:@"View" bundle:nil]; } return self; } View.nib is a nib located in the bundles project. But whenever I load the bundle I get this error... 2010-05-27 09:11:18.423 PluginLoader[45032:a0f] unable to find nib named: View in bundle path: (null) 2010-05-27 09:11:18.424 PluginLoader[45032:a0f] -[NSViewController loadView] could not load the "View" nib. I know I've got everything wired up because the line [label setStringValue:[instance name]]; sets the label text correctly. Plus, if I take all of the clases in the bundle and load them into my main applications project everything works as expect. Any thoughts on how I can correctly reference "View" in my bundle? Thanks!

  • eclipse plugin not loading dll due to long path

    I am building an eclipse plugin (a notes plugin, but its a eclipse plugin in the end). One of the plugins my plugin depends on needs to load a native dll. The problem is, that fails depending on where in the disk such dll is. If it is longer than a certain threshold I get the error below java.lang.UnsatisfiedLinkError: nlsxbe (The filename or extension is too long. ) at java.lang.ClassLoader.loadLibraryWithPath(ClassLoader.java:952) at java.lang.ClassLoader.loadLibraryWithClassLoader(ClassLoader.java:921) at java.lang.System.loadLibrary(System.java:452) at lotus.domino.NotesThread.load(Unknown Source) at lotus.domino.NotesThread.checkLoaded(Unknown Source) at lotus.domino.NotesThread.sinitThread(Unknown Source) at com.atempo.adam.lotus.plugin.views.TopicView.createPartControl(TopicView.java:609) I have added the path to Path env var, and also registered the dll to no avail. My env is Ms vista profesional, java1.5, eclipse3.4 (and lotus 8) Anyone out there have a clue? Many thanks in advance.

  • Loading a ConfigurationSection with a required child ConfigurationElement with .Net configuration fr

    I have a console application that is trying to load a CustomConfigurationSection from a web.config file. The custom configuration section has a custom configuration element that is required. This means that when I load the config section, I expect to see an exception if that config element is not present in the config. The problem is that the .NET framework seems to be completely ignoring the isRequired attribute. So when I load the config section, I just creates an instance of the custom configuration element and sets it on the config section. My question is, why is this happening? I want the GetSection() method to fire a ConfigurationErrors exception since a required element is missing from the configuration. Doing something like this: $.post("login.php", {requestCaptcha:"yes"}, function(returned){ $("#captcha").html($(returned).text(),"xml"); }); In IE, it does nothing. In Chrome, it clears up whole page and there is only the called reCaptcha script working like a charm. Any ideas?

In the current state, I am able to manually move the slider back and forth while download is progressing. How can I prevent the manual moving of progressbar, instead it works only based on progressbar.setProgress(progressbar.getProgress() + 1024); -- currently this works perfect, but I need to prevent the manual moving of progressbar during download. But not all the documents load successfully. Sometimes I get an error Error Domain=WebKitErrorDomain Code=102 UserInfo=0x145bc10 "Frame load interrupted" The error seems to be very sporadic and I get this error only for some documents. However the same document loads correctly in mail.app. What am I missing?

    I'm developing an application on a hardware device that has a built-in hardware keyboard that does not slide out so is always visible (like a blackberry). Therefore, I NEVER want the soft keyboard to display for my entire application. I'm aware of another SO question that gives the following lines of code: InputMethodManager imm = (InputMethodManager)getSystemService(Context.INPUT_METHOD_SERVICE); imm.hideSoftInputFromWindow(myEditText.getWindowToken(), 0); But I don't know where to put this code to hide the soft keyboard in all places where it might possibly appear in my Activity. I have tried adding the code to Activity.onUserInteraction to no avail. It seems the keyboard appears after the onUserInteraction executes.
