    My instance of Drupal 7 is unable to install new modules via FTP link. The error message that comes up is as follows : Warning: fileowner() [function.fileowner]: stat failed for temporary://upd92FE.tmp in update_manager_local_transfers_allowed() (line 924 of C:\inetpub\wwwroot\drupal\modules\update\update.manager.inc).   • Good workflow for website design

    I would like some idea about a good workflow for Website Design, with a high degree of "offshoring" (Elance, Odesk etc.). I would to do as much as possible "pre production", with client input, ideas etc. stored in IA diagrams, wireframe mockups etc. in something like a Wiki. Also a like the idea about having different people come up with different design proposals. Wouldlike to have some ideas of costs of different phases and tasks ($, %, hours). With Design I mean roughly the aspects of a site that can be done with client-side tools, especially XHTML and CSS. What other tools should I use than IA diagrams.

  • Wordpress show next 3 x number adjacent custom posts from existing

    On a single/detail Custom Post Page I would like to display a custom nav of li's or divs in a sidebar that displays both title, excerpt and permalink for the next 3 posts within the custom post series. So if we are on custom post 3 then it would show 4, 5, 6 in the sidebar. The closest I've found to this is :-= global $post; $current_post = $post; // remember the current post for($i = 1; $i <= 3; $i++){ $post = get_previous_post(); // this uses $post->ID setup_postdata($post); // do your stuff here the_title(); } $post = $current_post; // restore Problem is this only shows the first next post and I need to show 3.   • Eclipse's Visual Studio Ctrl+Tab and Ctrl+Shift+Tab Equivalent

    In Visual Studio, I always use Ctrl+Tab and Ctrl+Shift+Tab to navigate between documents. I see that Eclipse has Ctrl+F6 to navigate between editors, but this isn't nearly the same behavior. The difference being, pressing it once and then again will get you moving back and forth between two files, whereas in VS, it will cause you to navigate forward based on the tab order in the editor. Any ideas on how I can replicate VS's behavior?

    I am writing a bit of code that appends my site nav with and extra ul that gives a description about where that link takes you. I need to use our CMS's built in Nav structure so appending via jQuery was the best solution, and XML makes the data easier to manage. My question is this: is there a more efficient way to write out the js?   • Zend_Paginator / Doctrine 2

    I'm using Doctrine 2 with my Zend Framework application and a typical query result could yield a million (or more) search results. I want to use Zend_Paginator in line with this result set. However, I don't want to return all the results as an array and use the Array adapter as this would be inefficient, instead I would like to supply the paginator the total amount of rows then and array of results based on limit/offset amounts. Is this doable using the Array adapter or would I need to create my own pagination adapter?

Is there anything wrong with the code ? I tried to do it as per levels too, that is ../pages/page1.aspx .

    Hello there, please advice me how to organize product catalog site with such structure (this is pages which should be in site map): - Home page - About Us -- Team -- Contacts - Products -- Category --- Product ---- Overview ---- Photo gallery ---- Variants -- Category --- Subcategory --- Product ---- Overview ---- Photo gallery ---- Variants I know that i can use Page nodes for general pages like About page. And i can prepare Product node with CCK with needed fields. Then i can use taxonomy vocabulary for product categories/subcategories. Is this a right way to do such functionality? Or better to use just child/parent nodes? And how i can show subpages menu on product page? How i can organize menus? I need one menu with primary links, second menu below it, for secondary links (except Products catalog) and sidebar menu for Products catalog. Please advice. May be this is easy questions, but i just learning Drupal (but i have experience with other CMS). Thanks a lot.

  • Jquery show div on hover then when user hovers out of div hide it help?

    I have a menu and when I hover one of the links a div shows. I want the user to be able to hover over this div but when the user hovers out of the div (mouseout i think its called) I want it to hide. Imagine a dropdown menu in css, the user hovers over the link and the sub nav is shown, when the user hovers out or away from the link and sub nav the sub nav dissapears.
